I should prepare to defending by thesis? :D Yeah... I also think that guitar is more important. :) No more try bass this week - I need to restring it.

  12. Nice score on Rob Zombie @@Vodka ...... I think I preferred you when you were on holiday :P I was concentrating on the Alice Bass last night which has annoyed me so much I have given up ! My Thunderbird has flatly refused to recognise notes, slides and perfect fingering to such an extent that I am considering burning the bloody thing. (I don't mind when I miss notes or play like a drunken toad with boxing gloves on, but I hit the bloody notes and it won't fecking register) Lucky I am not home at the moment or that bass would be toast !!! So if I get a chance tonight I'll be chasing the 99% my little Racoon friend has set. or maybe trying the solo that @ has posted.

Tuning is E-Standard (except for special situations, like 5string Bass) 3. 19. It is not necesarilly wrong if you use fingers 1,2,3 (index, middle, ring) on left hand to do power chords unless it hurts, if it does hurts change the position to a more comfortable one. Tina S does a lot of power chirds with 1,2,3 fingers

  21. Right. Not a brilliant attempt not by any stretch of the imagination but, a year ago I red X'd this after the 2nd phrase. I know I said I would not play this because of the length of the track but I fecking do love Tool and I am now hooked so I shall try take this one and love it and hug it and feed and take it for walks... I promise... but chances are, I will aggravate my wrist and I will moan... a lot... again. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=767229395

  29. I use an Electroharmonix Pitch Fork pedal to do the same thing and it works just fine going straight from guitar to pedal to computer. It is similar to the Drop pedal, but can also shift the pitch up, and has a dial for preset intervals like M3, P4, P5, 1-3 Octaves etc. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a minor 3rd setting so I can't easily go from E standard to C# standard...
