Cut myself on the top of the index finger at work today, so i cant hold a pic with it. It feels really weird and uncomfortable to hold the pic between the thumb and the middle finger. So I'm skipping the advanced song till my finger can be used without starting to bleed. The difficulty is interesting. As a metal styled guitarist myself, these kind of techniques to me are easier than, say, the crazy bends we saw in last week's Clapton tune. Now generally speaking I'd say I'm Tore Down is easier than Hourglass to execute, but I still have more trouble on it personally. So difficulty starts to get subjective in the MC...

-= Rodmans Course for Kids and Beginners =- Well... my 6 year old son learns to play the guitar now for about a year, and he does really well. 30 min lession at a professional musician once a week and a bit practice at home. As he knows me shredding some RS CS songs all the time he is very Rocksmith motivated - so to connect his achieved abilities to the game as well as present an easy course to anyone or anyones kids who want to start playing the guitar i decided to chart some of his exercises and songs and some own collected stuff to a growing collection here... P.S: my son uses my fender squier mini strat which works quite fine. The lessions are either Exercises or Songs, categorised by Difficulty Levels 1-5(-10 maybe somewhen) L1 - minimal stringskipping, slow, only open strings or one hand position L2 - max. 2 strings, one hand position, short L3 - one hand position, more strings, faster, longer L4 - more than one hand position or generally harder / faster than L3 L5 - too difficult for L4 / first chords The lessions consist of tabs very well synced to a background metronome track. Tipp: The speed is chosen at the songs to match an comfortale singalong and at the exercises at the speed they are meant to be played - so start off with reduced speed in Riff Repeater and accelerate as you progress!!!! ... starting easy lessons and depending on the response and my sons motivation planning to add a lot more. have fun. Thanks to British Telecom I have no Fecking internet, so no guitar for me until they fix it ! Itching to try these songs but after rushing home to get a few run throughs in before the match.... Nothing. On the plus side Spurs just beat Stoke 4-0

You could try removing all your other CDLC? I find this helps, sometimes? or try yourself with the Toolkit unpacking and repack. That's all I've done with it. Before this the bass hung up after tuning.

We had this version of Johnny B. Goode in the championship a while ago. A good version, was really fun to play.

@@manchot66 Love that movie. The scene where he plays Johnny b Goode is awesome. The CDLC creator was smart enough to take out the insane EVH inspired solo at the end as well.

Depending on the type of cut, super glue works well on a Muppet mouth type finger injury :)

I had been hearing rumors the last few weeks that Axl was in the studio with AC/DC in Atlanta, GA. Guns N' Rose's will be here in Dallas, TX Aug 3, 2016. The show I'm going to is the Jimmy Buffett / ZZ Top Concert May 28, 2016. I went to a Guns N' Rose's Concert in the early 90's only because Metallica was the opening Band, nothing against Guns N' Rose's just not a hardcore fan of theirs like I am of, Metallica and ZZ Top and AC/DC and Black Sabbath also. Later, Terry Edit: Should we start calling the Band Axl/AC/DC like we all did for the "Van Hagar" era. :D I still miss Bon/AC/DC, Now I miss Brian/AC/DC. What I didn't know about was Malcolm Young's Retirement in April, 2014.

Yeah... thats another good thing about the CS - there is no such thing as "bad weather" anymore ;) For the score - i am happy that it´s already a lot better than the one i missed to capture, no more score from me that week cause they are gonna drag me into a plane to Dresden/Germany until Sat evening. For you Johnny B Goode fans, I recommend the Back to the Future version as well. Played it the other day and it was good.

The link leads to the rehosted version. Since the bass path from the RP cdlc hangs after tuning I just repacked and rehosted it, works fine for me, but the RP's still there.

Ok having given the above situation a thought: Namechanges cannot easily be recognised by us - and it doesnt matter: From the 10-week lb pov - a new name = a new contestant, hence looses all the old points and starts all over again wherever he wants, unless he declares his namechange. One could also create a new account with the same result. What do you think. Its all fun only. Yup, declare your name change = no problem. :D
