Hello! I like this song, it reminds me of good times... but this custom annoys me! http://i62.tinypic.com/2mowl8p.jpg Also, I hit RR and the results are: http://i60.tinypic.com/2ljs0oz.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/70j0aw.jpg And last, not least, I can do better but for this week it is all.Have a nice weekend ;)5 points

Thought about saving this for late Saturday morning, but decided not to be an asshole. Probably won't be good enough to last, but it's good enough for the lead right now. And at the very least, the streak will be pretty tough to beat without acing the tapping. http://i.imgur.com/Rzs2gJJ.jpg Video:3 points

Bass update Set the World on Fire Its funny, the parts that are easy for me on the guitar are wrecking me here and vice versa. I think thats it for me this week, played for 6 hours today because i couldnt stop and my left wrist hurts now. cheers3 points

Sorry for this week, I won't be able to train on this one or have any time to improve. Anyway I'll keep the song, it's great to play http://lostpapers.free.fr/Rocksmith/Rocksmith2014_20150607_00001.jpg http://lostpapers.free.fr/Rocksmith/Rocksmith2014_20150607_00002.jpg2 points

Just thought it would be cool to have a thread for Jam Tracks. Here's one I quickly wrote and created using the awesome Band In A Box, a Texas Blues song called Autumn Breeze. You can listen to it and download it from here. I'll be doing these regularly I think so hopefully this is the first of many. The chord progression can be seen below: http://i.imgur.com/uGJuBfq.jpg1 point

Yea, the best thing about a multi-fx is that it gives you the chance to play around with a lot of stuff, which will help you figure out what you might want to buy separately later on. Van-Blurten has got the order right, though - a $200 bass played through a $2000 amp will almost always sound better than a $2000 bass played through a $200 amp.1 point

Oh boy, can't we all just agree we have different tastes in music? You aren't going to change someones mind of what appeals to their ears. Like if someone likes olives, I'm not going to judge them because I can't stand the taste!!1 point

I'd say if money is a problem, get the cheapest multi effect pedal you can from ebay or a pawn shop.. I mean the absolute cheapest soab you can find. That will likely provide you with some amp sims, not a lot but enough to play about with and a few effects that are just about ok. Then you get time probably 6 months to a year to save up a little bit, if you can put away 15 dollar / euro / pound a month you should just about have enough for a very decent multi effect to replace the crap one something like Zoom B2.1U or Zoom B3 would be my preference. Then a better Amp, then guitar and finally start buying specific pedals :) Ofc it never works out like that for me :)1 point

@@RamboMadCow You can use that site for exemple to find out the scales/chord behind the chord progression that @@snowdog give to play along : http://www.scales-chords.com/chordscalefinder.php I did a little improvisation on Automn Breeze that you can find here : https://soundcloud.com/firekorn-1/jam-on-automn-breeze1 point

Since I see @@then3verend lurking, a small update: Hands are mostly good. Left is feeling slightly weak for the trills (not sure what else to call them, though the notes are pretty far apart) in the verse, which have led to some unusual misses, but otherwise I'm good to go. Had a 99.57 and a 99.47 ruined by last chorus BS (well, slightly more than last chorus for the latter). One of these times, Rocksmith will feel forgiving... right?1 point

Anyway I will try your first version and if you do the other version by sunday I will try both ^^1 point

Lucky you, I don't have muscle memory. :p I'm doing worse and worse with Dead End Friends, so I'm not going to beat my score I did a few days ago. Also my finger top are hurting me. :unsure:1 point

Just posting this to let people know that I just got the high score...nothing more...(But that streak is real...would be a shame if I start putting those fast parts in RR)http://oi59.tinypic.com/351d3qb.jpg1 point

Ok, it's not better. But this misses happens only on 1st of that section. On 2nd it does not happen. I RR'ed the following section to no misses at 100% speed :D And then tried that D-G part, but didn't tried much after 90% speed. Ok, so I went to SA and: 94.58%, 149 streak I was making many misses on that power chord part (I realized that I was not strumming it well). So I made another try: 97.01%, 203 streak Ta Dam! I did better on solo this time, but got worse score :P Still pretty happy about that. I don't know if I'll have more time to practice it. So I hope it'll be enough :P1 point

Muscle memory is starting to kick in. 90% may be achievable by the end of the week. Really enjoying the challenge this week. It's tough, but not so hard that you give up in frustration. http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ad1zgfoey1jq0ee/221680_2015-06-11_00004.png?dl=01 point

Here's number 3. Got fed up with the key of Am so thought I'd go for G#. Another Jazz/Funk one called Fundamental Journey with a bit more pace to it, here's the chords: http://i.imgur.com/ihklycY.jpg Sorry for the triple-posting but the images in these posts is making things difficult when editing. Please let me know either on here or with comments on Soundcloud what you think of them. This third one is in m4a format but should still play in most media players. I decided to upload straight to Soundcloud using Band In A Box to save myself from converting things. :P :) :P Edit: Looks like having text after the image solves my problem! Number 4 is called 'Rufus, The Cool Cat' and is a jazz swing number in Gb. Here's the chords: http://i.imgur.com/j2aB5q2.jpg So this thread has had 45 views and no feedback yet..? :(1 point

And here's number 2, this second one is actually the first one I started writing and the second one I ended up finishing. This one's called Manhattan and is a laid back jazz/funk song. Here's the chord progressions: http://i.imgur.com/xVNRjpZ.jpg Hope you enjoy them, please feel free to add your own jam tracks to this thead - the more the merrier!!! :) :D1 point

You should always try and use the latest version of the Toolkit. As for Mono, if you're using OS X Mavericks you need version 3.4.0, and if you're using Yosemite you need this corrected version of 3.10.0 (which was posted on the first page of this thread):1 point

Why can't you would be the good question then.1 point
