  1. Today I'm proud to announce that we will be offering a cool and special feature here at CustomsForge. This was actually recommended from a few members here and I want to thank you for the idea. We're going to launch this section in the future and have special CDLC's that will help you learn new guitar techniques. From anywhere from guitar scales to playing the bass quickly with your fingers, we will try to help you master ways to learn the guitar. Each CDLC will feature Dynamic Difficulty so you can begin at a steady pace and work your way up. We still have to figure out how we're going to do this but this is definitely something I am interested in doing. If you have any ideas, please suggest them!

  2. First album I do believe was Toxicity by System Of A Down, and my first show was Three Days Grace... I know, I know, but I met Unleashed there. So there's that :)

  4. Thanks system in still in place. It may have gone offline for maintenance if you couldn't see it or you had reached the limit of likes you could make Like and thanks are technically different things, I would see the point of "unbuilding" as you put it, if they had the same function, but it doesn't. They may look the same, but one just likes a single post and doesn't do anything in regards to a persons profile, the other applies "thanks" to a persons profile not the post in general. As the saying goes, "don't fix what doesn't need fixing".

  5. Hi, folks. I'll be using this thread to maintain the latest versions of EOF in one place. To start, download and extract EOF 1.8RC12: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ih70h6p67iy77ka/eof1.8RC12.zip You can keep that zip file handy to avoid downloading it more than once. When I release a new hotfix, all you have to do is replace the files from the above zip file with the ones from the hotfix. The latest hotfix (9-26-2020) is here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/6xzg32k4a9gqwxs/eof_hotfix_%289-26-2020_4%29.zip/file *If you use a non QWERTY US English keyboard layout, and keyboard controls/shortcuts aren't working for you, please make a post describing what keyboard shortcuts aren't working, and what the Info panel says the "CODE" and "ASCII" values are after you use each of the keyboard controls in question. I can make Mac releases and will try to post one with each Windows release, but my ability to do so is sometimes limited. If I don't get around to releasing a Mac build you want, just remind me to do so. The latest Mac build (9-26-2020) is here: http://ignition.customsforge.com/eof/download/487 Unless you have oggenc and LAME installed (these don't come with the Mac build for licensing reasons), you won't be able to have EOF automatically convert from MP3 to OGG when you create a new chart. If you have trouble getting those set up on your system, here is a package that should get them installed and usable by EOF: http://www.t3-i.com/apps/eof/downloads/eof_utilities.pkg Please provide any and all feedback, including bugs and feature requests. If possible, also please review the included documentation (manual, tutorials) and let me know if you find any room for improvement there. Eventually I plan to add a Rocksmith authoring section to the pro guitar tutorial, but the community's knowledge of the Rocksmith songs' makeup changes pretty quickly so it's hard to know when particular features are considered fully known. For any features that ARE fully known (like anchors), please feel free to remind me if they aren't incorporated into EOF yet, in case I missed any information being passed around on this forum or the Google group. Note: If you are reporting a bug, please specify which hotfix (date) you're using. I release hotfixes on a somewhat random schedule, sometimes more than once per day, so the issue being reported may have been fixed in a release you haven't tried yet.

Maybe I have all the songs of the world haha just kidding If anyone wants to make a custom and its having a hard time finding the right tab just write me and I will check to see if I have it. Don't matter the style of music, this has everything. When I mean huge collection I'm talking about 1.9 GB and 71.174 Files, 6.688 Folders worth of guitar pro tabs. Hope this helps the community. 18. Wow! So much information I will look into the truss rod as the buzz is 3-24. I am not saying that the guitar is unplayable just wonder if I am making it harder to progress. What tools will I need for the truss rod adjust? £40 is starting to sound quite attractive looking at all these scary tech terms.

  20. @@Arsenal Really? You don't have to put as much pressure on a short-scale? Do you have a source for this? I would buy a short-scale in a heartbeat! (Not that I have any real cramping problems that annoy me) Also, yeah, I think RS is a bit finicky with intonation. My guitars are all so hotrodded (and/or worn) that playing at lower frets sometimes just gets random misses... Doesn't matter to meeee, 'long as it sounds good!

  21. Do you guys realise discussions like this one may be the reason some of the charters of this songs you miss are reluctant to post again the customs they did? Just think about it. Even if a custom charter's work is based on someone else's tab of someone else's song, it doesn't mean he/she didn't invest a lot of his/her free time to make something other people can enjoy. And don't forget charters are sharing their customs with all the people FOR FREE. I think you should spread the red carpet for them instead of tripping them up because it's easier to keep a custom for you and your friends than sharing it in a place where you don't know what's gonna happen with your work. Just my 2 cents

  22. I've played tabs for years but I still play the standard way. I didn't feel I needed to invert it, it felt unnatural to me.(BTW I'm a lefty playing right handed...)

  25. The good part with cheap guitar is that they are wonderful learning tools. You have a good occasion to learn how to set it up yourself without risking to damage a 500$ guitar. I know many players who succeded at their first try plus you get the satisfaction of having done it yourself. There are many sites that will provide you with simple guidelines as to how and what to do. There may even be some posts regarding this in here, there was one on SA but I'm not familiar with the site here. In any case, Google is your best friend.
