Yea i would think so too but we'll see rodmans and the organizers opinion.

I agree that the last % will always be harder to get. But its rare that a person gets 99 on a class above theirs. i didnt play it so i dont know how hard it was but since it remained in mc i guess it was rated appropraitley.

oh wow Helloween! Yay. One of the most important bands in my youth. Big influence to want to play guitar. Biggest besides DC. So cool. Of course the tapping caught me off guard. Great to play! I want 90

kinda odd arrangment but atleast the drum beat is stuck with me now lol

yea...some notes dont seem right. but fun to play the vocals nonetheless.


theres a riff in there that reminds me of a metallica song just that in a different tunning...but since im not a metalica fan i dont know the name of the song.
also vocalist kinda reminded me of avril lavigne some times..like the same ish tone.. so i might check them out lol





 Love me some royalblood! they always have very fun riffs and their stuff is usually blast to play on the drums aswell xP
Also really happy that it was rated as an intermediate song because i always enjoy harder songs in the levels 





not sure why some are int and some are advanced they all seem to be same lvl and no solo

I will say though that this song is easier to get a higher score so i understand why kaytek and andes suggested them to be swapped.
the fast run looks intimidating but its just going up the scale on different strings (which to me shouldnt be an advanced quality )...and it doesnt happen that often. 
In my eyes, both can pass as intermediate but thats just me xD



Used to listen to a couple of their songs when growing up so its good to see them.
for my tastes this would be a great advanced song..but i understand not alot of mc bass songs.

at first i was like ah this isnt so hard then the solo came in and yeah..wasnt expecting that for a rhythm path

Love my Rhapsody. I grew with them, and the Blind. I love their melodies and riffs. I saw them live a couple of times, the last one on their farewell tour in 2018.

And Nightwish, also great!!! I remember trying to do "she is a sin" with my first group in high school

(they sound heavier in this song, maybe because they were in a second phase in 2007? I stopped listening to them after the Tarja left)

It always makes me laugh when you write that a song or part of it reminds you of another song, but usually you don't know exactly which one

I don't know what exactly you are referring to. When it comes to comparing rhythm and bass paths in the Rhapsody of Fire song, as I wrote earlier, with similar charts I add about +1 to the bass difficulty rating.

Ok, attention!!!

I followed the comments and scores from the bass path of the Royal Blood song.  Indeed, it seems that there are problems with achieving a high score there, the chart is quite specific, and these pull-offs can be problematic to recognize.

So there is a change in the bass classes:

Beginner: Taylor Swift - Blank Space (2.5) (E Standard) selected by Daz40

Intermediate: Nightwish - Sahara (5*) (D Standard) selected by Mikson

Advanced: Rhapsody Of Fire - A New Saga Begins (6.5) (E Standard) selected by Mikson

Advanced bonus: Royal Blood - Oblivion (5.5) (E Standard) selected by loudly

Masterclass: Helloween - Ride The Sky (7.5) (E Standard) selected by kayteck

well ... the Rhythm track on Helloween songs is not really a rhythm track... it's just one of the two lead tracks. In my youth I really loved these kind of bands that had two equal guitar players like here with Michael and Kai. These days they have three lead guitarists and 3 singers (if you count Kai) ... ... I hope I will be able to see them as I missed the Reunited tour.

the riff that sounds familiar to me in the sahara starts at 1:06 (spotify) to 1:38 ish
i still think its a metalica song but i couldnt really find it...
the closest one i found was sad but true at 0:23... but i mean.. its kind of a stretch, the only thing really in comon is muted e chord ( well since both are in d standard its d)

I was refering to the lead being advanced meanwhile rhythm was intermediate when the lead doesnt have a solo perse/ kinda similar path. I understand the +1 for bass.

Yes, lead and rhythm are similar, both have that short transition part where you can get a few missed notes. However, the lead path is a bit more complex, it has more technical licks in some parts, where the rhythm plays e.g. a power chord + some palm mutes on the same string. Additionally, the lead has these harmonic notes several times. The difference in difficulty is not big, maybe it should be 6 lead and 5.5 rhythm idk. Maybe my rating was influenced by the fact that I achieved probably 98% (I'll post screenshots later) on my first attempt recently in rhythm, and much less in lead.
