Goddamit, what a 200 week!!!!

Great playing everyone!!!

And we have a great week again!

Beginner Lead Players get a real hard challenge that week!

For bass: int, adv, mc basstracks are really close regarding difficulty that week, it´s gonna depend on the individual playing style which one is easiest and hardest - the way i put them felt best for me, but discussion is open if you like.

RNG liked orgas that week, as it looks, and we get some (thats rare here) Black Metal back from the days.

Well, i was about to start charting that one and surprisingly Ignition showed we have it already, and it was chosen right the first week in the list....

ROCK!!!

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

Just did a cold play through (using score attack) of all the lead songs for this week and could not get through any of them. Thanks for putting this on!

Ok, somehow got through the Mr. Big song:

Welcome ;) We know we all need some real challenge from time to time.. that time its beg time.

Maybe starting off in Learn a Song Mode could help.

You can also post that scores.

I would rate this song as 8.   There is shifting and string skipping all over the song and some tricky chords on top of that.  It's way out of my skill level.

@@MaZtoR and @allbeginnerleadplayers

Ok, rechecked Everclear.

In testing last week my first try was a 53%(!), BUT my second was 85 still focusing on the quality of the file (sync, missing notes...)

The guitar line is slow in speed and i rated it 3-4 cause it felt learnable throughout a week for beginners, horrible on first plays - no doubt.

Played it again now and would rate it rather intermediate.

@@RSjeffH had it rated 3, and he is a beginner player.

Word up - you wanna play that or have it exchanged (there are few beginner songs in SSL, so i´d be in favor of adding a great beg lead track from past and have Everclear as bonus)

I'm not sure why I rated it as a 3, honestly I think that I was trying out a different song! I agree that the lead track is far more difficult than a 3. The rhythm track is definitely beginner.

I would be in favor of switching out the beginner lead with a song from the past.

I think that it could be charted in much smarter way, some of those moving is unnecessarry. Intermediate I would agree.

Got to that bit with the quick shifted double stops on the A&D strings and the string skipping - @@Rodman I see why you would find this easier than Mr Big, you guitarist you!  <_<  :P  :D

http://i.imgur.com/vfG1SIK.png?1

http://i.imgur.com/i2dxwFv.png?1

DEFINITELY easier than that Dummy Burger double stop nonsense!   :P  I don't think there's any section I would need to riff repeat on this, I just fluffed a few notes randomly.  Dimmu Borgir, on the other hand, I would need to riff repeat the section I mentioned.

Oh and this week is my Championship and bass playing "1st birthday"!  Yay!  :confetti_ball:  :confetti_ball:  :D

One whole year of die hard mode every week since 149!  I'm considering going Freebird now.  :)
