alright, gave it another try and now i'm not getting misses on the 0s anymore, but i'm having trouble with the 3s (fuck). i'll try as @ said and use light pressure and pressing a little higher on the fret. But i'm going to do that later, because this score right here was incredibly painful to reach: a mosquito sat on my right arm during the whole 8 minutes and i had to resist scratching my arm.. i assure, it was quite the torture xD now my right arm is full with mosquito bites.

Intermediate Lead - 96.08%, 345 streak

Did so poorly on that ending sequence, good that no one saw me

That is the right kind of dedication B)

Check out my easy tutorial on how to add a metronome to your CDLC: Mute the original music, play only with the metronome and find out how good you really sound! Also: Find CDLCs that have the metronome enabled!

Want a USB-Footswitch that you can use to control the tone selection and all the menus in Rocksmith? Check out Rodman's Tutorial and my additions to that!  Footswitch_Logo.png

My CDLCs: Devin Townsend - Life, Deep Peace, Ih-Ah!, Deadhead; Farin Urlaub - Ok

My ideas for new features in Ignition, e.g. filters for Multitrack CDLC and Metronome CDLC.

Thought the little widdley bit at the end was going to be really hard, turned out it was nice :) I'd say rate it a 5.5 once you've nailed that bit. :)

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

here's my first Lead score in MC

http://up.picr.de/22254052wo.jpg

fun song, but unfortunately the second half of this path is completely out of sync . I wondered about all the misses and strikes in my first playthrough, second this run I just closed my ears while playing the chord section. I have to send a request.

I see it's from Bernixix, request is sent  :)

Listened closer to it again and just have to change up and downbeats at the right time, sync is fine. Good job @bernixix

/Begin Rage Time:

Seriously, Devin Townsend is a freak, but he is in the supreme minority of guitarists...claiming that the rhythm guitarist is the same therefore PLAYS the same chords is ridiculous....After close listening/playing along...hes doing something like

------------------------------------

------------------------------------

--0--0--0--0---------------------

--3--3--3--3------5-----5--5--5

--3--3--3--3------3-----3--3--3

--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3--3 Etc...

The random note ghost just camped on the 5-8 notes...because I could never get a consistent section...but that's my problem:

how did you manage with the recognition of the 3s? i still can't get around it :(

I swapped bass'  :) My Jazz copy has passive pick ups but my Cirrus has active ones, that's all I can put it down to tbh. the strings are a tad thinner on the Cirrus too so maybe it's an ambient sound thing causing the lack of recognition. With the Cirrus I had no problems with the 3's, just a little problem from transitioning from the 7th on bottom E to the 3rd on D fast enough after the hammer on at the widdley bit... but I like the widdley bit so working on smoothing out the kinks in that :)

MC "attempt" : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=462440667I know I could probably do much better than this but I need more than a weeks work on it. This is a LOT of fret work up and down the neck and although it's paced pretty nicely, my dexterity and brain to hand function just ain't at this level yet :) least I tried x

an active pickup would do the trick, i'm pretty sure that helped a lot with the recognition. and yes, the widdley bit is quite fun :P good work!

Note recognition for me is slightly, well lots off. I saw a few misses and lates flashing when I knew I was hitting them, so decided not to play some notes, maybe 1 out of 4 notes not played (+ more?) in some sections and it gave me them lol.

Anyway updated Bass int, 97% acc, 191 streak

I can't get anywhere with this on lead and don't have enough time to devote to it atm, I will in all honesty probably need (or be) levelled down for lead path.

@@supername My pickups too active, with power supply 18V, it nothing helped me.

maybe, and I'm speaking with the theory that my line-in goes straight to the soundcard, rather than through any additional amp equipment. I vaguely remember you saying your set up runs through an amp? I might be wrong, that might not make a difference either way... Or a tuning/string gauge/ even :O timing issue? (not to assume or imply you are not indeed, impeccable at time keeping :) .) Orrrrrr, maybe the chart is way out of time and it's my timing that sucks so bad that I happen to be hitting the notes ;)

Could also be a toolkit issue, do we know of the low bass tuning fix was used? That might help some bass scores. With lead, if you haven't changed your strings/use a set of 10s and above then you're also going to have a bad time. Spaghetti strings have no consistent note and you won't be getting any 100%ers

Many nice scores on all songs :)

Some basses (guitars) can be better suited to play on lower tunings. I, with my guitar and .09-.46 strings, have no problems in C standard, yet some have recognition issues with even thicker strings.
