I can kind of play the solo now! I didn't play all the notes but what came out of my guitar sounded pretty sweet, so that's progress.

 

I worked on the arpegs, but I still have a hard time handling them past 90% speed. Another couple days and maybe the muscle memory will sink.

OK Weezer.....i admit defeat on this one. At 95% speed i can get 80% accuracy but at full speed i seem to get more random misses on chords. Really frustrating cos they sound fine through the amp.

There's that one chord shape during "stop, close your fucking legs!" where you staircase three frets and then the low string is on the 3 and 4. I started nailing that part when I started fretting that low string with my thumb. Makes doing the chord and switches a lot easier - you only have to let your thumb go to play the open string, and otherwise your hand stays in the same position.

Little better. I didn't do as well at the solo here as my last play, but I had a lot less random miss demons.

Ok....so i had a break and played some emulated bass to clear my head of those MF chords and got this.......

.....then came back to lead and got this. Purely just from re-tuning after playing some standard E tunes. I don't think i played any better than my previous scores. Dissapointed i couldn't crack 80%.

Talking about demons ....

 

So great - yd RS nightshift - holiday rumble over, everything set up to get that missing 1% on that damn Say it Aint so ovre...

 

So i practised 2 hours in RR, made shure to nail the greater parts of the solos, even rechecked without bg music and was even sure to finally survive SA - and then the show began... In the middle of the song - sudden freezes for like 20 seconds with the music continuing....

Ok reboot!

Back in the game: sudden slowdowns and cracking sounds....

Ok reboot, check my hardware, check the fanspeeds, the temps and do benchmarking - everything perfekt, do windows performance index: 7,5; try other games - flawless.....

 

Back in the game: try 3 other songs: all ok, fps steady at 60...

Back to Weezer....

All good .... until "be cool.." - freeeeeeze ;)

I kept on errormanagement for another 2 hours - o.c. Including redownload if the song, windows update, a new

Catalyst and all - no more playable try :) :) :)

 

U just should've taken the warning more seriously ....

 

Nevermind - my own conclusion: personal targets do not end on saturdays, and demons are to be fought............................

Cash Cow on lead is a workout for me. Got it from like 50% to the 70s so I'm happy for now. Outta time, spent too much time failing at the Weezer lead. :)
