Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 44

Got up to 64% on the intermediate rhythm. Oh well, small steps and all... My biggest problem is the speed. It's not really that fast a song, in comparison, but it's still a bit too fast for me. I'm getting there with the main riff, but the arpeggios and especially the inverse chords in the chorus are killing me.

I think Mustaine synched the best vocally on the Youthinasia and Rust in peace albums, not a big fan of Countdown because it was "popular" and everyone was playing Megadeth for the first time on there stereo's when I was a diehard fan. So a little bias.

Five Magics and Tornado of Souls are my favorites though.

Sorry Noony, misinterpreted your comment.

No worries :)

Despite Countdown being more commercial than previous albums, it brings back a lot of good memories for me, Symphony of Destruction still has one of the greatest hooks ever written imo. That said though, So Far, So good... So What? was my favourite album vocal-wise. Their cover of Anarchy in the UK is Bob-on, and In My Darkest Hour is too... and Liar is hilarious :)

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

@@Hostilian Rust in Peace looking back is my favorite album though growing up peace sells and so far, good, what were because it fit me more as a kid growing up. Meaning it spoke to me more.

I have the Rust in Peace Studio Master Tracks. All the guitars, drums and singing all each on there own track. Its great to hear everything separate as it feels like a new album almost.

@@NoonyDeloony Liar is hilarious. In my Darkest Hour was huge for me growing up(not knowing what it actually meant) it was something I could listen to when depressed.

Rust in Peace is a phenomenal album, I've listened to that so much it's incredible. What really makes me wish I was born earlier is seeing their sound checks from that period. To have seen the Rust in Peace line up must have been absolutely incredible.

@Hostillian I heard about that, I thought it was Holy Wars that he played but it makes more sense for it to be Anarchy. Well anything that led to Holy Wars is a good thing, one day I'll play that beast. One day.

The more I play Angry Again the more I struggle, even the easy chorus is killing me cause I can't figure out the strum pattern, it's so hard to see the beat markers on that section.

Maybe you should look at the tabs ;) See my signature.

Haven't really made progress either. I more or less understand the individual sections, but I just can't get them up to speed. Also, I'm struggling with getting a "clean" sound. With the high distortion level selected in the song, I get a lot of buzzing noise. I do wonder if the original really has that much distortion? Because it sounds to me like the notes from the E5 in the main riff are let ring, but if I do that, they become very indistinguishable.

just played the arpeggio or whatever it is down the neck and the chords part in 80% speed RR for a while. Then noticed i had just a few more minutes to play. So i tried the whole thing in full speed again.  It got me another 6% in accuracy.

@@MaZtoR Hahaha, how it was possible get 26 % ? Did you try to play on guitar? :)

@@cabalistic I did for self tone and set on hot stick (numbers2-4) in the game. Got that from Symphony destruction, with little tune, less gain, more low freq. Soon  will replace in this CDLC, there is crap a tone.

Now check this cdlc, there 2 tone in lead, with bad not unique name like"Distortion" and "Lead"- big chance crash RS.

Upd. My version tuned tones lead and rhythm : Megadeth - Angry Again
