You should be proud. 100% of any song is awesome. My girlfriend asked me to play this for her, so I did of course. Took a little while, but I got it. It's actually really fun to play for a beginner like me.

Yea I should load Rockbuddy up more I sometimes just load up rock-sniffer and have it in the the corner in a explorer window using deskpins to keep It on top. Why a running percentage meter was never put into RS.?? I'm also now going through all championship songs from the beginning ,well week 50. Also playing through all beatles songs on bass rating them . I have around 250 songs to rate for the championship Along with learning to create cdlc 's . Procrastination Is all that stops me

Just chiming in on the difficulty of songs. I think it's kind of subjective. Like the 1st week Steel Panther was right up my alley and was comfortable playing it. Felt pretty easy. Everything since then feels kind of difficult because it's not my style. But that's just me, some of you guys can play anything.

getting tight accuracy on that aerosmith song was more challenging that I anticipated, good b side though I haven't heard that song when that album came out. I don't wanna harp too much, but theres probably a few ui fixes that could be done that might improve accuracy for example not having notes touch etc.

First try this week.

1. have you seen the rock-buddy app that @ RaZrShReD recommended? If not, here's a link. I think its 97% into solving the leaderboard problem. Check weeks 530 thread for details. @ TNTMusicStudios If you can solve the 'new board on file checksum change' thing I will shill your app 666% harder. 2. But then again, the CS is more than than just leaderboards. It's got a social element that, imo, is even more important. Also, just the fact that there's a new track every week makes it that: a. you have to play stuff from genres you wouldn't normally play b. you can see your competitors progress in real time c. once you get the win no one can take it away. d. Since you only got a week to do it, you're forced to push yourself everytime. Of course, if you can win every time with a sight-read it's easy to miss. But for us mere mortals it's a totally different game than a straight up leader board.

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT!!!! YEEAAHHH!!!! Here we go!!! --- The biggest challenge in my life right now is achieving 99% in Karma Chameleon! I mean, I never tought I would be trying hard for hours to play this song perfectly!!! I saw very far the day I could achieve a promotion to advance, but now I think I am getting closer!!

Wow, all the songs from the Championship!!! That sound very fun and a veeeery looooong journey at the same time!!! And 250 SONGS!!!!!!!!!! A lot of work but sound fun!!!! I didn't know anything about Rockbuddy... may be I should try it... And I was also thinking would be cool to know the percentage while playing!!!

thats why leaderboards are so necessary for rocksmith, everybody plays a lot better with competition

It's crazy what a little bit of competition does to one's motivation, ain't it? That's the value that the championship brings. Big thanks for sharing the score.

The chord slides keep f-ing me over, as usual. Other than that, I like when we get easy songs for mc, it's the only way I can compete. This one is pushing it though,

Lead I've heard this song on the radio many times, but I've never played it on Rocksmith until now. Fun song! I once wanted to add this song to the suggestion list and didn't, but I saved a screenshot, so it's a very old screenshot. I'm hearing this for the first time, interesting song. Not too difficult apart from the solo. This is my suggestion, so also an old screenshot. I haven't played this in a while, but this is one of the better Aerosmith songs for me.

Karma lead improvement

Tiger Bass 4 seems about right rhythm struggling to get over 95% on this one

Kept trying but couldn't achieve a better score... Here (in the arpeggio of Karma Chameleon Lead), I realized they make you change position in an already difficult part for no reason!! D shape in the the 5th fret and A shape in 10th fret are EXACTLY THE SAME NOTES! (Good practice, though...)

yea i use it a lot my name is also bottledpat on it, its great but i use pitch shifted files for anything not drop d or e standard so im very limited in actually increasing my ranking i pretty much use it to compete with other specific people at this point

I'd like to, but I'd need to re-download all of my CDLCs for it to work. I used the CF song manager with the 100% mastery fix enabled, and now i get a personal leaderboard for every song. And some of songs I like are no longer available here (not because of political reasons I think). So I can't just delete everything and start fresh. I'm am currently thinking about organizing everything and maybe creating a an archive of some sort. But it's a lot of work and I've been really busy at my job lately. I'll get around to it eventually.

OK, here we go!!!! ---- Well, I would never imagined I would be playing Karma Chameleon on guitar!! And I really thought I would never be able to achive 99% in intermediate... I can't believe I finally did it!!! (Of course after a good session of RR) Who is organizing next week?? Yes, I want to be in advance!!! I thought I would never make it!!! (This is 5, so you can get a promotion, right?...) Full disclosure: I suck doing arpegios with pick, since I learned arpegios with my fingers in acoustic guitar in Mexico. So my RR session was about practicing arpeggios with fingers with the pick in my mouth, and then take it quickly to play chords I did another session of RR for lead as wel... I don't know why it includes the sound of the sax instead of keep doing the guitar riff that you can hear in the background.

i still have all of my cdlcs so i probably have whatever youre missing

I know it is too late now, but there are few bass only songs laying there and I would change Bass Advanced class song as it is waaay too easy for Advanced IMHO..

Pppfff you know me, the old fart complaining bout ratings xD if i see a chart with lots of straight single notes or open strings and minimum fills i probably will spawn in the forum saying it should be int. Not sure what song i put begginer and it was advanced..then again i havent really suggested in a long time except for a knower song which i put advance but could be mc (not sure if i can change with the new system) .... I know that when i was suggesting them if i 100% first try it itd usually be begginer or low int . beg could also be like a 4 bar or shorter riff that just repeats through out the song...or a song with like 2 sections A and B like verse/chorus.... or a song with not that many shifting or string changing...or if they did itd be one of them but usually not both..usually they were short aswell...atleast thats how I thought I did the ratings back then. But anyways, yea i understand the situation. Im just happy to play songs in the championship regardless of difficulty.Although... Its always funner imo when i see rzrshrd get a high score and im nowhere near it
