  1. I've been listening to Blue Cheer all week! I've had all their albums on shuffle nearly nonstop! Thanks for another great band I've never heard of! Here is my entry for this week in intermediate. I tried master mode too, I didn't clear it but it was still fun!! Now its time to focus on "Dopesmoker"!!! Sleep is awesome!!! Here is my first attempt!! I'm not sure how far I made it, Maybe 25minutes or so

  3. Bass: Pitch shifter version does not work for bass. Strange but I managed on low tuning. This mixing up chords with single notes is not easy .

  4. Improvements: First attempt in SA and the best score. I tried a few more times, but no chance for better. So GG, not this week. Oh, and the solo is short here, but I hate it Rhythm - step by step better. Finally got 90%

  6. Oh boy.. from the beginning i was afraid to tackle that step... ...and i hardly mean putting a ruler on top of the body... no, rather that one... taking a drill and destroying that wonderful surface. The ruler is to show me the correct angling, though the other option of having the controls straight up unangled would be ok also, but i like it better that way starting with the tiny 2mm from front - will i hit the cavity? a hole or two phhhhhhh, very much where i want those after that bad bad breakout drilling the headstock a short prayer and let´s go i don´t dare to clean that up and see the result.... so let´s take pictures going bigger from the back for the switch. Remember to mark which hole you want to get bigger!!! hmmm not too bad of course i left far too much wood there so there needs to be more drilling... and that drill works "best" if the tip has a place to settle but we are not going for a beauty contest inside the back cavity that hole is wide enough after filing looks good to me... let´s test some yieeeha and the volume one..... i don´t do tone pots ... so useless for me. My standard design would have no volume pots also, i´d just use the middleposition of the switch as "off" position, but for that setup i just coudn´t sacrifice the option to have the HB and P90 on at the same time. more drilling and chiseling and filing a tad short that will do, yay and the jack hole... a lil off center - totally gives me the creeps, i had measured a lot of times precisely and i had used a drill with a ultrasharp tip - how did that happen? there i really have no explanation. Just gotten lucky that it´s not worse. In the end absolutely no problem cause it has got to be a lot larger for the final result and i am gonna do that by filing and it´s end up in the exact middle. Still a mistery. That has only taken me 90 mins and was a lot more straightforward than i was fearing. The one hole missing there for the ground i will drill when mounting the bridge.... oh there might be 6 more holes missing then, but we will see. I didn´t destroy it. I got holes. Very happy.

  7. This version is definitely better. But now that everybody is playing different versions there's bound to be confusion.... Anyway: IMO the lead part is 7 - 7.5, rhythm 8 and bass 8, at least compared to previous weeks.

  8. This was a purposeful artistic decision. Pure genius. You just don't get it, man....

  9. I did some Dick Dale CDLC, but just used Clean guitar. I know Dick Dale uses an early strat, a Fender Showman set to "blow the roof off" and spring reverb. The ODLC Miserlou sounds pretty good. How would I extract the tone from Miserlou and use it for my CDLC?

  10. Thanks! I appreciate it. Your notes and this video helped a lot! I was able to grab the tone out of Miserlou and use it for Shake N Stomp, Lets Go Trippin' and Surf Beat. I haven't uploaded the updated versions yet, but that did the trick! Now to fix tones on Baja and Mr Moto. Can't have surf without a reverb!

  11. The easiest way is to simply use the import / import from file within the Rocksmith DLC builder or Toolkit and select the dlc file which will let you just select the tones you wish you import. Otherwise you can assign that tone within Rocksmith and use a similar feature to import from your Rocksmith profile which will let you access your hotkeyed tones. Finally, if all else fails you essentially just go into tone designer and write down all the information of the tone and then create/add a new tone in the builder/toolkit and fill that same info manually. Also, if you have trouble finding the ODLC file itself (the naming convention is somtimes strange) the best way I found is to go into your Steam DLC for Rocksmith, uninstall and reinstall it so that when you sort by newest that DLC will be on top.

  12. I'm still very new to customsforge so please excuse me if I'm writing this in the completely wrong place, but a bunch of your Beatles charts have deleted download links and I was just wondering if you were aware of this?

  13. I've looked into this before with no luck, Unfortunately. I wanted to replace the audio of "Blow Me Away feat. Valora" By Breaking Benjamin with the original Version but I came to the conclusion that the only way to do that is to recreate the ODLC. Using Rocksmithtotab makes the process of recreating it a little easier. Not sure why modifying ODLC that the user presumably paid for is discouraged. I can understand why distributing it would be, but for personal use? Discouraging that sounds silly, Especially considering that CDLC's are modifications of Rocksmith itself. As well as the other kinds of modifications that are not being discouraged(to my knowldege) such as Custom Inlays, Menu/UI alterations, etc.
