  1. strange songs this week... class songs: i was hoping for a better score when playing, but i ended up like that: this one was a nice treat from standard power chords. i have to admit it took me some time to get use to non standard chords... i thought i will not be able to get more than 85% after playing few times.... this one was nice to play and bonus was also nice treat... now other classes: this one is more difficult that it looks like: this one is great... this flow took me.... however I CUT MY FINGER when doing those bends on 24 threat high E.... LOL... these two are also great to play

  3. @ nlbsmglsk , @ SpankNass and whoever else got emotionally involved in this and needs closure I am pretty sure Its an outlet problem, the computer was plugged into that outlet and I think that what made the guitar/cable zap me. I know this because I have a volume thingy (where u twist it to raise the volume but it is seperate from the speakers themselves) and it also zapped me. I need to get an extension cable to test this theory I have just been busy (lazy) with the move and school stuff, hopefully plugging it to another outlet will solve this so i will be able to post more in next week's thread. Thanks for everyone who tried to help! I will try to update for all those who are interested

  4. DOWNLOAD CUSTOM SONG FOR YOUR PLATFORM INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: PC: DOWNLOAD our tool to install the fix Copy file: "_p.psarc" to "dlc"; Mac: Follow the instruction over there : https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/ Copy file: "_m.psarc" to "~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc/", you might need to use "Command-Shift-G" to go inside ~/Library since it's hidden by default in the finder XBox 360: Place files: "_xbox" to "Content>0000000000000000>555308C0>00000002"; PS3: Install files: "_ps3.psarc.edat" to "/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS31182/USRDIR/DLC", if the folder DLC does not exist, just create it. Note: If you are intending on using Custom DLCs on a PS3 or XBox, you MUST jailbreak your console first! Hacking or jailbreaking a console is beyond the scope of what we are doing here, and if you are not comfortable with doing it, you may want to simply buy the PC version of the game. JUST PLAY IT ! All credit to MarineIguana, he created this, I am merely echoing it here.

  5. Cast no shadow lead and ryhthm And on bass Love this on bass . I know a lot of oasis songs are built around the layered guitars ,but the bass is what really drives this song awesome

  6. thank you, exactly what i was looking for, had no idea that site existed, and with the downloader it gives me exactly what I want. its also just as weeby as I could hope for but sadly not as old as I would like, they have shield hero and bleach songs, but looking up area 88 or zombies ate my neighbors brings up nothing, now all thats left is to find a good 88 key keyboard so I can 'play' everything, well... meander my way though effing up till I somehow gain the skill is probably more accurate to say, but the end point is the same, trying to have fun while gaining a skill.

  7. @ jellisjenius - i have not thanked you for that extaordinary presentation. It really shows your passion and respect for music. Thx for the insights. I know all of those albums very well except "Ten" - i own that one too, but i never got behind Pearl Jam. Pioneers, Icons, yes. just nothing i can understand really. Esp. OK Computer and What´s the Story... still on my regular playlist. Great selection of tracks out of those albums!!! A lot of work, i know.. but such a good week, so appreciated. Thanks, and keep up that crazy stuff!!!!! Rock!

  8. I can't seem to find one, looks like it runs of standard midi files so I guess there's no need for one. I'd download some solo piano arranges off musescore (which unfortunately seems to the the most popular type on there) and use them, since they're already optimized for piano and split by track into left/right hand. Should work right off the bat. They locked downloads behind a paywall a while ago but you can use this to still download midis: https://github.com/Xmader/musescore-downloader

  10. I'm slowly gearing up to embark on my 8 stringer bass... After seeing your amazing body shape, I might have to be brave and go for a custom free-form body as well. The inlays look really good. The hand-drawn aspect works really well. 100% custom. The more custom-builders move away from the "factory-built" aesthetic, the better.

  11. Waiting for the inlay results???? I was, yeah.... 48hours of drying time i did allow for that epoxy and was hoping that all the shellpieces would have been fixed permanently to stand some sanding.... let´s see Start the sanding ... 60gr Hi Mr XII! First impression is that the epoxy has settled very well, shell can be sanded nicely how deep has that penetrated the board.... a lil bit at least it has, cause there i am at the level of the board at sanding i think the pattern of the different color shellparts - yes, better than expected! that begins to look like made of stone, old ones it seems to be quite a lit in the wood .... grrrrr moving to 120gr not to damage my radius come to life, Mr! Hah... i might have a chance to sand deep enough cause the border begins to vanish at some points!!!! Contrast and size will be very ok Here is my version of a great leveling beam - superglue/masking tape - easy to remove and ultra straight, and cheap and long you can even afford a 2nd one for different gr - 240 here HAH Here we go Mr XII How do you like that??? In that case the not perfectly precise routings of the numbers support the handdrawstyle of the XII inlay. Very happy i did just like that. On my next fingerboard there will be others with the sharp blade trick maybe. cannot wait to see that oiled and the inlays polished. Very happy.

  12. I try not to offer unsolicited advice, but this sounds dangerous. It sounds like you might have power coming back through your ground in the outlet or something. You can get a receptacle tester (something like this https://www.amazon.com/Receptacle-Tester-Klein-Tools-RT210/dp/B01AKX8L0M/ref=pd_lpo_2?pd_rd_i=B01AKX8L0M&psc=1) for about 10 dollars. Obviously get it for your outlet/power configuration, this one is for US outlets. I've done a bit of household wiring and these sort of tester devices have saved me a few times.

  13. It's Halloween season! I hope everyone is doing well as I've known from personal experience the last couple years have been difficult. I just wanted to provide a recap and give everyone some updates: Rocksmith+ has been delayed Donations are no more, Patreon is the only current method to support CustomsForge If you're unable to support us via Patreon - disabling ad-blocker is another method of providing support to CustomsForge. Announcements Server Move With your help via Patreon we've successfully migrated our server to a new location with NVMe drives. Additionally we've split our servers to improve performance. This may take a few weeks to fully optimize but so far it feels better already. Newsletter The newsletter has found multiple delays due to trying to find a replacement method of viewing/displaying it without requiring an advanced editing software and the use of PDF. I've found a solution that I am currently testing and I am hoping to have the newsletter revived before the year is over. YouTube Our YT hasn't launched yet but it is currently on indefinite hiatus until we can find the best way to approach it. For now we highly recommend Chainbrain's channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgeE4uJZqmsQBURNPKs9Haw Ignition5 Cancelled, Ignition4.5 is now planned. As of now, ignition5 has been officially cancelled. Migrating our current setup and moving the current features to i5 is too difficult with the lack of developers we have for that project. I plan on working on future improvements and creating the roadmap for Ignition 4.5 as previously planned. I would like to take some current features and rewrite them with the current setup we have now. We still want to release features such as: Ignition4 Profiles This would allow you to see how many CDLC's are in a user's collection, how many cdlcs they've created, etc An area to manage artist and creators you've hidden Notify on new EOF/RSTK releases Updated CDLC page (show what songs have been updated since you've added it to your collection) Email Settings and more features that have been requested by you! Merch With the demand of our shirts we decided to move our limited shirt into a permanent item. You can pick up any merch here: https://merch.customsforge.com/ Knowledgebase I've launched our official knowledgebase which I plan on expanding. You can find these current articles: How to use CDLC Getting started with Ignition4 Discord We're trying to hit the goal of 7 server boosts so we can incorporate discord's new Role Icons. If you would like to support us you can do so via https://discord.gg/cf and select "Server Boost" up top on the drop-down for the server. This is entirely optional and worst case I'll grab all 7 boosts myself, but just in case people want to help MAGFEST We currently plan on attending MAGFEST 2022! I'm still unsure if I am going but I need to decide soon. However our main team will be there with changes due to COVID. More details will come out later as we need to have meetings to figure things out. Wrapping up... I Just want to thank every single person here at CustomsForge. From the staff, the developers, our creators, and members. Thank everyone for supporting us! Keep rocking.
