Finally made it through with no strikes! Yeah!

not much progress but more here

Yay... made a good one on that intermediate... still fingering. Though that is what I do. Never picking anything (but my nose). And soon I'll have a go with the Karosene.. in tempo... so far I'm at 95% speed, and it's okay 20 or so misses.

Using a pick did the trick

First tries: This feels like it should be played with a pick...I'll give it another shot: Trickier than it first appears...I enjoyed playing it but the score wasn't quite what I hoped for:

@kayteck, I was having the same issue on the Drop D tuning especially the second fret. I had to force myself to not push very hard and it was finally recognized each and every time. Sure shows just how much pressure is actually needed!

OK, a bit better on the beginner song. Also tried the intermediate song this week. Not too bad after a few "learn a song" sessions.

me too...# What's the point in having bonus paths if not? I mean, if no recognition or award of any kind, then no need for bonus paths. If I need other things to play just for the fun of it, I'll go nuts on the CustomsForge-page. So I'd say: reward points, mention names and so forth...

Beginner Lead It is easy enough, but somehow more difficult than Intermediate Rhythm, despite passing "solo" section on 100% Intermediate Rhythm: This one so much fun to play... my palm hurts though from all barr chords... Beginner Rhythm I cannot play G chord with all 4 fingers (Big G?) and when I play it as usual, I am getting a miss, well... 5 out of 10 times basically all 8% missing here are G cords :))) Beginner Bass Very easy, recognition on drop D sucks though... every time it was coming I was praying to the game to recognise the note... Or maybe it is just me pressing the string to hard or too soft so the pitch is off? Who knows... Intermediate Bass Enjoyed it a lot...

There's no user rating system 'cus people'd just rate up songs they like regardless of quality. Same thing with DL count, doesn't indicate quality. From newsletter 18 (worth a read tbh) The best thing you can do is check the comments and playthrough video if you're unsure, but for most songs you'll just have to try them out yourself. Once you've stuck around here a bit you'll start to recognize users, what genre they tend to upload and their general quality level and you'll just dl stuff done by them. Also most tabs for custom songs aren't transcribed by the chart creator (I'm guessing). So it's a real mixed bag unless they go through and fix things themselves or you find someone who tabs most of the songs themselves at a decent level.
