  8. Hey guys, This year I've got something special for you. No christmas themed release but instead a finger warming christmas present for everyone who likes classical music, especially of the Baroque era and master composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Starting tomorrow, I'll release Bach's inventions for two voices, one each day for 15 days, so that at the end, you'll have a complete set of 15 inventions, even if you'll need way longer to master them, trust me. Each will be a straight forward arrangement of the two voices for Guitar (Treble Staff) and Bass (Bass Staff) at 65 bpm. Because they were composed as exercises, Bach didn't prescribe a specific tempo and interpretations vary from musician to musician, so I opted for what felt natural to me and isn't so slow that it gets boring or so fast that it becomes too challenging. The actual arrangements are very true to the original sheet music; in fact, I only had to change a few small sections on the bass part to make them playable in standard tuning. The audio comes directly from GP because I don't have the time to mess with my DAW now. I'm still not done with all the arrangements and time will be short the next few days but I'll keep working on them in my spare time, so I should manage to stick to my schedule. I won't be having much time for extensive testing but I already have a working setup and since there won't be any changes to my workflow, there won't be much need for testing. I hope you're looking forward to this as much as me and find some time to enjoy these between all the upcoming festivities. Merry christmas, everyone, and a happy new year. :D :gift: Release list: Day 1: Invention 1 (in C Major) Day 2: Invention 2 (in C Minor) Day 3: Invention 3 (in D Major) Day 4: Invention 4 (in D Minor) Day 5: Invention 5 (in Eb Major) Day 6: Invention 6 (in E Major) Day 7: Invention 7 (in E Minor) Day 8: Invention 8 (in F Major)

  10. Thanks, I did and it works fine. I posted that I purchased this for 9.99 on sale till 27th. I appreciate the help. I noticed one or two of the songs in riff repeater did not have some adjustments, but this is ok. I just wanted the songs. Most work awesome. I want to thank everyone here for doing the hard work on these songs. I may even try to get smart and do one to release.

  11. Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (12-24-2015) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Improved fixup logic so that the base chords for arpeggios that are less than 10ms away from a chord are created correctly. *Improved the usage of the time stretch option to be remembered. *Added an "Offer to auto complete fingering" preference allowing this feature to be disabled. *Updated RS2 export to write a "TS:#/#" event for each beat that has a time signature defined. RS import will now import these time signature changes if they are present and the "Import/Export TS" preference is enabled. *Improved "Precise select like" to also compare notes' ghost gems. *Fixed a GP import bug where the wrong end of slide fret value could be set on chord slides. *Improved RS2 export to be able to combine chordnotes with linked single notes or chords to allow for cleaner display in-game. The chordnote and the linked note must use the same fret number and techniques for this combination to occur.

  17. I finally think I got the chordnote combining logic going. This: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/raynebc/chordnote%20linknext%20combination_zpsidm6aup0.jpg will now export like this: <note time="0.750" linkNext="0" accent="0" bend="0" fret="1" hammerOn="1" harmonic="0" hopo="1" ignore="0" leftHand="-1" mute="0" palmMute="0" pluck="-1" pullOff="0" slap="-1" slideTo="-1" string="4" sustain="0.750" tremolo="0" harmonicPinch="0" pickDirection="0" rightHand="-1" slideUnpitchTo="-1" tap="0" vibrato="0"/> <note time="1.500" linkNext="0" accent="0" bend="0" fret="0" hammerOn="0" harmonic="0" hopo="1" ignore="0" leftHand="-1" mute="0" palmMute="0" pluck="-1" pullOff="1" slap="-1" slideTo="-1" string="4" sustain="0.250" tremolo="0" harmonicPinch="0" pickDirection="0" rightHand="-1" slideUnpitchTo="-1" tap="0" vibrato="0"/> ... <chord time="0.500" linkNext="0" accent="0" chordId="0" fretHandMute="0" highDensity="0" ignore="0" palmMute="0" hopo="0" strum="down"> <chordNote time="0.500" linkNext="0" accent="0" bend="0" fret="2" hammerOn="0" harmonic="0" hopo="0" ignore="0" leftHand="-1" mute="0" palmMute="0" pluck="-1" pullOff="0" slap="-1" slideTo="-1" string="2" sustain="1.250" tremolo="0" harmonicPinch="0" pickDirection="0" rightHand="-1" slideUnpitchTo="-1" tap="0" vibrato="0"/> <chordNote time="0.500" linkNext="0" accent="0" bend="0" fret="0" hammerOn="0" harmonic="0" hopo="0" ignore="0" leftHand="-1" mute="0" palmMute="0" pluck="-1" pullOff="0" slap="-1" slideTo="-1" string="4" sustain="0.000" tremolo="0" harmonicPinch="0" pickDirection="0" rightHand="-1" slideUnpitchTo="-1" tap="0" vibrato="0"/> </chord>The notes on the D string are all combined into the one chordnote. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for this feature.

  22. I think I'm going to try the RS Championship, looks like fun and a good push in the right direction for advancing my abilities, or showing me where I need improvement.

  23. @@deansmayhem Got it right, practice, practice, practice. You can learn only with Rocksmith, that's basically my story, but also some other people I met here. Though using RS alone requires your honesty. While in Rocksmith you need to carefully listen to what you play, as on screen information is not sufficient and may be misleading, but at least it points you what to work on. There are also some people who like to get pushed in order to progress. That's why we made Rocksmith Championship, and we've got some participants to really make a huge leaps. Besides, it makes you to try something different and maybe find your new favorite band (Metric  ). Nothing more to say - Rocksmith is a great tool and this community is a perfect example of that :)
