Hello all, from now on I have switched over to bass. I really want to focus on that instrument for a while to see if it's something I want to continue with. Hello there, It's just a few weeks away from the end of another school year, and it's time for me to get my last grades. For this I made a blog where I write about music, and especially new music. How about: 'Country', 'Rap', 'Pop', 'Rock', 'Metal', 'Hardcore', 'Classical', 'Jazz'.... etc. The basics. Nothing that simplified and in a 'dropbox' manner. You could even add 'Unknown' or 'None'This essentially already exists with the TAGS while creating the CDLC. I put the band name, then, southern metal, alternative metal, whatever, in there.

I always imagine him composing always everywhere, also during breakfast with the guitar and a cup of coffee. :mrgreen: I think that simply if you love something so much, in this case music, you wanna express yourself in that way so you are not tired to do what you love.

I wonder how it is possible to create so many songs... Buckethead is the most amazing composer in the world, in my opinion and so great musician is really not famous if we compare to other artists (like Metallica or Pearl Jam or Slash). He composed even more songs than all the bands taken together :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I really hope that some day Buckethead will be so famous as Jimi Hendrix or even more :D :D

and I am preparing next list of about 5 Buckethead customs additionally :D :D within 10 days I will post the list :) they will be usually not so very fast, so you will like it probably :lol: :lol: anyway I like all Buckethead's songs, so I do not have a problem with it if the are slow or fast or mixed, all are awesome for me personally :lol: :lol:

Neither have I. I'll give them a try though. My first thought was that they were that awful boy band but now I realize their name is One Direction, so pretty much anything has to be better than that.

I wouldn't say my music taste has changed but it's definitely expanded. I'm from a prog rock/ metal and grunge background when it comes to my favorite flavors, but, since playing bass I've definitely added more genre's to my taste, my favorite bassists are Geddy Lee, Les Claypool and a couple of session musicians, Josh Fossgreen and Jay Mentzino (Holt). I've always enjoyed funk and soul, so, the opportunity to play some has opened my eyes to a lot of techniques that I would never have necessarily tried. John Deacon of Queen, despite being a fan of the band, I never rated that much until playing the bass and realised he's a terrific bassist, but that was down to naivety more than not paying attention, I always enjoyed Queen's bass lines and to play them has improved my shifting technique up and down the neck :) I'll have to try some U2, although I'm not a fan of them in the slightest I think you have to give some bands that you don't like a chance, as you might miss out on a really enjoyable riff/phrase :)

Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (1338) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Fixed bugs with RS1 and RS2 exports where identical chords that had different fingering wouldn't export correctly. *Fixed a bug with RS2 export where a chord's template would be incorrectly written if any of its notes were string muted with no fret value defined and the arrangement defines the use of a capo. *Fixed a rare problem where attempting to shorten a note when grid snap is enabled could cause fail and leave it ending at a beat position. *Improved GP import's handling of slide direction detection. GP3 files' slide notation will no longer cause the following note to be removed, since GP3's format defines slides in a more ambiguous way than GP5.

It's not like a having a live version would prevent anyone from doing the studio version. The more, the better.

So that begs the question, do you want to learn how to play songs or do you want to learn how to play the guitar? If you learn how to play songs then that's what you will play just the songs you know. But if you learn how to play guitar then you should be able to play any song. My point is, like me, I assume most people want to learn how to play the guitar.
