Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 154

This is gonna sound really weird but nothing has changed on my computer..... i really don't know what all the fuss was about.

 

anyway tonight i have no scores because Grandma took me out and we had to leave the car at the pub...... too drunk to drive

 

but Rocksmith is ok i think.... it looks ok and it let me try to play a cdlc so.....i guess its ok

 

i'm not ok tho, gotta get a cab to my car at 5.30 in the morning  :huh:

There is a newly compiled RSInjector out - some people have had some success with it...

 

I'm still struggling because it doesn't run on OS 10.7.

I don't think I'm going to manage MC at all. I can't focus much and my coughing and sneezing is interrupting my streak. I'm pretty gross right now.  :disappointed:

Blood Red Summer is kind of a tricky song. The new features in remastered are helping with this song. Even though there are still some issues with cdlc. The smaller sections in RR are nice. As well as the ability to go note by note really help to get down tricky sections.

Did anybody check the all new player stats section of the remastered version?

 

Well mine is a joke and a punch in the face ;) :

 

It says 150 playing hours while i have 950

and it says longest streak 13 days while it should be at least 400.

 

Maybe that is because i play on my pc and my laptop and then the stats are steamcloudsynced - does deliver no problem at all for song playcount and mastery%.

 

Now after testing i can say what i have feared from the time i heard of that remaster - they should have left it and do a completely new one with improved audio protocol and hardware support and improved note recognition.

 

Meanwhile - as they still didnt implement the Score Attack Mastery (which is soooo annoying for Championship players cause after your final and best run you have to go for another one in LAS to have your real mastery shown at song selection :godmode: risking to do even better not being counted for the CS awards) you can as long as there is no fix just keep playing in SCORE ATTACK mode without your songs stats getting messed up!

They should have made the update optional.  I can't believe I stupidly went online on Tuesday.

Slight improvement on advanced. I have burned my first finger on my fretting hand from sliding so much... I can play that slapping/slidey phrase pretty well now, only now I am in agony so I am hoping there will be a hardening by tomorrow. Video's will be pending on blister bursting and superglue effectiveness.

Thanks to all the guys who have worked on the 'fix', and @@missis sumner for putting me on to the one that worked.......when I say worked I mean it works when it feels like it and then random cover art disappears then it crashes, but still better than nothing.

 

I haven't had much time this week and have been as unhappy as Misses s so I'll have another go at fixing it tomorrow if I get time.
