Advanced Rhythm - 97%, 480 streak

And that's pretty close to what I can master now. Thanks to that streak fillers, preventing crosses.

Sylosis is just like White Zombie. Heavy like shit and E standard. That's what I like.

Beginner Lead: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=557382392#_=_

Made some good progress. I looked at the rhythm for this and is it the exact same as the lead, because it sure looked that way.

Riff repeating the D song for some chord practice. Hopefully I can post a score on it better than my initial run through.

Been practising the Adv lead some. Did a few minutes of RR on the hook and this happened:

If I can get a run in with a good solo performance, I can probably throw another couple percent on there.

Loving this song choice, never heard it before but really nice on the ears and really fun riffs. I like it more every time I play it! :D

You don't always have to strum her hard.

In fact sometimes it's not right to do.

Anyway, some updates:

Adv lead:

http://i.imgur.com/2yhsnfy.jpgLike the song, but a bit frustrated by the DLC. Practically all of the slides should be different (pitched vs. unpitched, notes played immediately after, or the duration of the actual slide relative to the rest of the sustain. Though lead isn't as bad as bass, where some of them are pitched slides that go in the wrong direction and leave you way out of position for what comes next) and the non-standard chords don't have fingerings and thus don't appear in the chord book (Maybe I should know them all, but I haven't yet become guitar George). The slides in particular aren't a huge problem in the grand scheme of things, but it's kind of annoying having to play things like a 3-second 3-fret slide that ends a few frets above the chord you have to play next just to appease Rocksmith (though you can play it on the next string to avoid winding up out of position).

MC bass:

http://i.imgur.com/KhuC7cM.jpgI guess I can probably pass score attack on hard now. Pretty great run except for the climb and first fast lick at the start of the third solo. Might be able to break 98% by the end of the week, but I doubt I'll be able to get much higher than that

Happy birthday @@TrbInTrbIn! You share birthday with my brother :)

Other stuff:

We're playing Sylosis so... Ali Richardson, current Sylosis drummer, is nominated for best new drummer of 2015! I have no knowledge about drums, I can say that I don't really care about it (Guitar forever!), so I don't know if he's really that good, but you can check it yourself:

or here (GoPro footage)
