  1. HI guys: Recently I realized that in CFSM folder (Mac) there's a subfolder called "original" full of what appear to be copies of cdlcs (I'm not really an expert). The problem is that there are 6GB worth of files there, and I need space in my computer. Can I just delete them? What are they for anyway? Thanks for your help
  2. Looking for a workout, what are your longest songs? So far the longest I've been able to find is Karn Evil - Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
  3. Hi everyone, I wanted to know if someone has the same problem as me. I have Rocksmith 2014 original on steam, with Cherub Rock DLC and the last dll (as the guide indicate). To avoid any problem, I always run everything as an administrator (steam, rocksmith, CFSM). However, many songs do not appear within the game. For starters, none of the RS1 songs works (they don't appear in game). Some songs, like "Creep - Radioheadsong" (song pack 9) appear with a small padlock, and when I click on them, they send me to the store (although I have the psarc file in the dlc folder). To solve these inconsiste
  4. Hello fellow Guitarists, I'm deaf42! I love making CDLC's so I figured I'd start a post Where you can access all my CDLC. I'm a classically trained musician who studied jazz in college, so I like having sheet music for my songs, because of that, I am going to start trying to include the Guitar Pro TABs and Standard Notation with all my packages in case you guys want to check that out. Making Custom charts for you all brings me such joy, and while I love Avenged Sevenfold, I am willing to do other artists as well. If you have a chart you want done, let me know. Maybe I'll do it, maybe I won't
  5. Hi everyone ! I didn't found how can I save custom songs on my PS3, when the custom song is compatible with it. (SOrry for not comprehensible ENglish, I'm French !)
  6. need help when trasnsfering my songs from my hd on xbox 360 with file manager not all the songs will go over to my xbox it comes up with file transfer failed any ideas why as most of them will go over ...... ps why are some of the files have the extension of .dms and again not all of them ? cheers for any help as im new to this thanks
  7. Hey Customforge Community, Im new here and was wondering if someone could answer my questions :) I got Rocksmith 2014 for my Playstation Super Slim (250 GB Version 4.55) a few weeks ago and I think its an awesome tool to learn guitar. Just the songs that are avaible are not that much what I want to play. (besides Slayer Iron Maiden, and System of a Down) Here my question towards downloadable custom songs here. 1. After downloading the PS3 version of the songs do I need to convert them or are they good to go ? 2. How do I bring the songs over to my PS 3 3. Would a PS3 Super Slim acc
  8. Hi, I'm new to RS2014 (Remastered version on PC - Steam) and having a quite annoying issue with it. Songs from RS2012 are not available. I checked the dlc folder. I have the rs1compatibilitydlc_p-psarc file but don't have the rs1compatibilitydisc_p.psarc one. According to what I found on the Internet, I have to own RS2012. So I bought RS2012. New thing now is, when I lauch the game, I have a message telling me it detected I own RS2012 and inviting me to buy/import RS2012 songs. If I select OK, steam store opens and I don't have nothing concerning RS2014 or 2012... Same if I go to the RS
  9. Holla at you, first I've got to say this community is one of the best I've seen so far! Everyone of you please feel complimented, you guys are so devoted and so friendly to new and beginner people like me. There should be more people like you in the internet. So, coming to my topic: I'm a bloody beginner, never touched a guitar before Rocksmith2014 but 21 days ago I picked up Rocksmith2014 and have 4 Songs on 70-80%ish. It's Drops of Jupiter, Numb (love both songs), Blitzkrieg Bop and Otherside. Sometimes I just plug my guitar to my amp and repeat those riffs and surprisingly it sounds reall
  10. Hey there everyone, :) I have picked up Rocksmith 2014 almost two years, and since day one it got me frustrated but i kept myself trying to push to play guitar but it never got along. The problem i see is with the song collection in Rocksmith 2014 it seems that it goes from simple powerchords songs to complex songs in no time. And im still a beginner and dont know how to play guitar. The motivation is there but not the knowlegde. I love to listen to Hard rock and Metal and just want to learn the songs that my favorite bands play. My question is, Is there any like list of songs that start
  11. I've been playing now for 3 years now and i only have a cheap amp (Marshall mg 10cf) and my 3 guitars. (and rocksmiht of course duh). But something tells me that i might need to add something to these. Like pedals for example. I've kinda want to get a good overdrive pedal and a distortion one, but i'm not realy a gear geek sadly (don't know much about gears). I also have a feeling that it's not necessary yet, because i don't have a band to play with and that's the other thing that bothers me. I've already written down more than 20 riffs for song ideas and don't have people to share with th
  12. I own cherub rock The songs do appear on the "learn a new song" but it the strings or the notes, just the amps I have the updated .dll for the remastered version of rocksmith 2014 I'm new at this and i need your help
  13. OK, so after watching the video tutorial on making CLDC's made by @@SkepticSquid here: http://customsforge.com/topic/841-how-to-make-cdlc-full-in-depth-tut-completed/ some of us still have difficulties so I thought that a non-video tutorial with screenshots and text instead might also be helpful, let's start: I've divided everything into 6 sections, some of them are currently in progress, but in the end you will be able to make your own customs for Rocksmith 2014. Here's the basic table of contents: PrepairingWorkload directoryGetting tools and setting them upGetting the resources - tabs
  14. So i currently have just over 100 hours in rocksmith in the year that i've owned rocksmith ( aside from playing guitar without it ) and i had a thought the other day as to improving my overall quality in the art of guitar-ing. Could it be that the guitar playing in the original song be masking the awfulness of my playing? quite possibly... yes i know you could always turn down the song volume in the mixer but then you can't really hear the song and you rely on the visuals to get your timing to the song since you cant hear a hella lot over your playing. That got me thinking, what if instead w
  15. Hey fellow fellows I just want to know something from other creators here. Lately I've been making songs i quite like only problem though is once I've made the songs i play them like twice and never again while other songs I've downloaded from other creators i have play counts over 50. When i think about it i feel like the fact that i made the cdlc takes away a bit of the magic of playing a song. Is it just me or do you fellow CDLC creators also lose interest in your own creations?
  16. Welcome to my workshop! This is where I shall post all of my custom songs, upcoming songs, and current artists I am working on! About my CDLC: I am a huge metalhead, and as such, all of my custom songs shall be metal. I don't plan to stretch out to other genres, as I plan to keep my workshop metal oriented. I normally just chart songs/artists that I can think of, but I also take requests! About Requesting: So I usually take requests, so long as they are metal songs that you want. I normally chart all requests I get, no matter what sub genre it may be (NO CORE). There may be reasons tha
  17. Hey guys, I'd like to learn new songs but I don't really know any that I could learn.I've been playing guitar for 10 months now and I can play songs like "Blackbird - Alter Bridge".Pleasy write a comment if you guys know any songs that I could learn (I'm not looking for a specific genre) Thanks
  18. Every time I press the generate button on the toolkit it shows an error saying a bunch of stuff like my X360 file cant be loaded and a bunch of other stuff, but I unchecked the Xbox 360 box so why is it saying that?
  19. Hi! Are there still custom songs for Rocksmith (2012)? Due to the steam sale I thought buying this game would be a great idea since Rocksmith 2014 is such a great game. I really like Rocksmith 1 too, but it would be awesome if there is also an opportunity to play custom songs. Thanks in advance!
  20. Hey guys! I'm curious what Hip-Hop or Rap songs are on CustomsForge for Rocksmith. Ones I have so far (that come to mind) are these. Let me know if you know of any others, I'd like to make a list for people. Flo Rida - Whistle Flo Rida - Right Round Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Jigga What/Faint Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You Linkin Park & Jay-Z - 99 Problems/Points Of Authority/Lying From You Jay-Z - 99 Problems Hollywood Undead - We Are Hollywood Undead - Hear Me Now Hollywood Undead - Outside Hollywood Undead - Young Hollywood Undead - Sell Your Soul Holl
  21. What are some good tips to be on guitar played a bit before have some experience not the best, but like warm ups and tips for Rocksmith. Warm upsTricks and TipsSongs? How long I would like to learn more of the metal songs like 5FDP, Pantera, Metallica, ect..
  22. Is there a way to edit the songs that came with RS? I would really like to edit the tuning to Pantera Cemetary gates. it's a lightly off tuning of E Standard. it's close enough i don't mind just playing it A440 (I think is the standard). it's just kind a pain to have to Retune my song for that one song, then tune it back to play anything else. because of this I haven't even played it over a year. so if I could go in and change ti to E Standard. that would be great. Also is there a way to remove songs that came with RS2014, or the tracks Imported from RS1? Both have quite a few I have no in
  23. Don't have a capo laying around? Wanting to play some "Folsom Prison Blues" like me and not having a capo? Well, here is the tutorial for you! 1.) Load up the capo required song 2.) Tune your guitar without the capo 3.) When asked to put capo on, use the precision tuner to tune "with the capo on" (In our case, w/o it) 4.) When tuning, *with the capo on (actually off)* you will be ready. 5.) Now, when the song starts, play each note 1 fret lower than being said. Example: You have a note telling you to play the Low E string on the 5th fret. Instead of playing it like that, play the Low
  24. Hi guys! i'm having a weird problem. I downloaded a few customs but when i select them suddenly the game freezes (i can still play my guitar and hear the preview) but i can't move, and when i press the buttons they do nothing. When i close Rocksmith it throws me an error that it stopped working Don't know how to solve it, so i expect you guys could help me
