  1. I'd check the xml file and see if there's anything funny. CTRL+F tone and it should take you to the tone names, what they are assigned to (A,B,C, or D), how many changes there are, and at what time they should change. Compare it to a working file if you need to see how it's supposed to look.
  2. Whenever tones get messed up for me and I can't figure out why, I usually remove the arrangements and re-add them. That fixes the problem for me.
  3. - Add a tone. Here is one topic showing you how to do it: http://customsforge.com/topic/2027-tone-creation-process-for-rocksmith-2014/ - You are missing the notes because the game is asking for E Standard at the tuning screen, but the chart is checking for some sort of drop tuning. Open up EOF, click Track-ProGuitar-SetTuning and you'll see what I mean. All the boxes need to be 0 for E standard. - Can't help you out with the fast part, sorry.
  4. Awesome thanks for your work on a much requested thing! I'll get to trying it out right away.
  5. Assuming you did this already (second post): http://customsforge.com/topic/9316-making-customs-with-auto-changing-tones/ Whenever I'm sure I did everything right but the tone changes are still screwy, I just remove the arrangement from the toolkit and re-add it. Usually fixes any problems.
  6. Move the second note way closer to the first note. Extend the length of the second note by clicking on it then mouse scrolling up.
  7. I got 3 of those Oasis songs from the 5 pack, but I skipped Supersonic. I'll be picking that one up now that I remember it exist.
  8. Pick 1st fret, slide to 9 (no picking) then vibrato? No tech notes needed. First note will be on the first fret, make it a LINKNEXT, and make it a slide by CTRL+UP and enter 9 Second note will be on the ninth fret, SHIFT+V for vibrato
  9. Also, the tabs that say Supereasy, Medium, Hard, Expert (or sometimes they say 0,1,2,3,4) represent the difficulty levels. If there is no * next to it, that difficulty is empty.
  10. You lose tech notes if you import, so you'd have to re-add them. Most of the time it's just tech bends.
  11. Yup check out the second post here: http://customsforge.com/topic/13449-how-do-you-edit-cdlc-that-is-already-created/
  12. If you were talking removing a single note, just right click it and it'll disappear. If you were talking about removing a note from a chord, click it and press F to bring up an edit box where you can remove it.
  13. Are you are talking about the fret hand position? The thing that indicates what 4 frets (usually) of the Rocksmith highway are to be highlighted? If you press CTRL+SHIFT+F it will bring up a list of all the fret hand positions. You can delete the FHP from this list, or you can seek to it and change it. Press SHIFT+F to create a FHP. Also, if you press F11 to open up the preference screen and tick the Hand Positions box you'll get a view of all the positions on the screen.
  14. Select the notes click Note-ProGuitar-Arpeggio-Remove The black notes can be switched back to normal by clicking on them and pressing the t key If any single notes turned into chords with ghost notes, they won't show up in game but you can just delete them if it bothers you.
  15. Click first note Press Shift Click last note of arpeggio now press Ctrl+Shift+G
  16. Where to find a saved tone: http://customsforge.com/topic/2027-tone-creation-process-for-rocksmith-2014/ How to create tone changes: http://customsforge.com/topic/9316-making-customs-with-auto-changing-tones/
  17. Do the tuning in EOF first Track - ProGuitar - Set Tuning and when you add the arrangement in the toolkit everything should work out automatically.
  18. Yup, add the handshape to the chordtemplate, bump the count up by 1, then add the handshape start/endtime (start time in chronological order or it doesn't work) and bump it's count up by 1. On a related note, here are some things i've noticed: If a handshape is being held, single notes in or outside of the handshape will still be displayed. Chords (after the initial one) will be a high density pane (doesn't matter what chord it is; it'll be a pane) If you change the fret hand position while a handshape is being held, the fingering will still be displayed on the fretboard but the blue highway will disappear. No reason for this to happen, but I've done it on accident.
  19. People were ignoring the prompt back in the RS1 days and the package would still play.
  20. You are right about the first 2 chords needing to be linknext status. End fret is gonna be the root of the power chord. Click the first E chord - press Ctrl+Down - make the end fret 5 Click the second chord (D) - press Ctrl+UP - make the end fret 7 I think there are slide examples here: http://customsforge.com/topic/890-tech-notes-tutorial-authoring-complex-bends-and-more/
  21. Xbox HAS to be modded, no way around it. If you have a PC you can use the same real tone cable if you buy the game again. If you are hesitant to buy the same game twice, remember the Steam Christmas sale is coming up.
  22. If you play your song and have fun, then it's ready to be submitted :) This is how you do it: http://customsforge.com/topic/357-tutorial-submitting-cdlc-to-the-cf-database/ Under Submitted CDLC - Submit a CDLC package to the CustomsForge database Just fill in the boxes, you shouldn't run into any problems. The only thing you need to do before is upload the album art somewhere (everyone uses imgur), upload the file (most people use dropbox), and if possible upload a playthrough (no worries if you can't, not everyone does)
  23. It SHOULD happen automatically if the chord is exactly the same. Here's a few reasons why it wouldn't: - Sustain is enabled (you'd know cause there would be an S underneath the notes) - Crazy is enabled (you'd know cause the notes would have a black box around them instead of white) - A note is in between the chords - A tech note is forcing sustain
