The Rolling Stones – “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction?
Flibbs replied to mikejl46's question in Rocksmith Remastered
It came with the original Rocksmith so you have to buy that plus the import tool for 2014. -
Alternatively you could be consistent with hundreds of years of music notation convention which has higher pitch at the top and lower pitch at the bottom. All you need to do is invert the string display in Rocksmith. It will make it much easier in the future when you move on to more than Rocksmith.

How can notes (from a songbook) like this?
Flibbs replied to ShrillBear52's question in Rocksmith Remastered
What you are seeing are not ghost notes but more a poor choice of symbol by guitar pro in the guitar tab line. When it comes to guitar tab there are no standards but more a common way of doing some things, Other things get made up by the creators of tabs and tabbing programs as tabbing evolves. The guitar tab line only provides partial information and needs to be read in conjunction with the music notation line to get the full information. In Guitar Pro the brackets in the tab line do not represent ghost notes as they would in drum tab. They are just a reminder that you should still be sustaining the note when crossing into the next bar or applying an effect (slide, bend etc.). -
Typo or are you using the folder for the original rs? CDLC goes in steam/steamapps/common/rocksmith2014/dlc The dll goes in steam/steamapps/common/rocksmith2014

Transposing 7-String guitar GP track to a 6-String
Flibbs replied to Nacholede's question in Rocksmith Remastered
Did you highlight the notes you wanted to shift? Also just remembered once you've moved the notes to 6 strings on the 7 string track, you need to create a new 6 string track and cut and paste into it.- 4 replies

Transposing 7-String guitar GP track to a 6-String
Flibbs replied to Nacholede's question in Rocksmith Remastered
The text colour you've used can't be read by people using the white theme unless they highlight it. If you have GP6 you can use the string shift function in GP6. Shift up and Shift down under the note menu.- 4 replies

Importing into EOF "Invalid file format" from GPA
Flibbs replied to jgrantca's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You convert to GP5 Prior to using GPA. The conversion can be done with GuitarPro (Paid). I believe it can also be done with TUX guitar (free) but I've never used it. I've haven't tried it but you may be able to convert to GP5 and edit the exported GPA xml to use the GP5 file. -
That's one opinion. Others, including mine, may vary. You need to do a lot more research before making statements like this. Have a read of this article on concert pitch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_pitch_standards_in_Western_music#History_of_pitch_standards_in_Western_music

Import Tabs (Without Music) Into Rtk?
Flibbs replied to Trilandian's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You can use Audacity to create a silent track. From the menu select Tracks -> Add New -> Stereo Track Then use Generate -> Silence Export as ogg or mp3 and use it in EOF. -
Thanks to everyone involved in running the site. You've done an amazing job in such a short time.

Either that's a typo or you have your string order the wrong way around. High E is the 1st string so in your tab you are strumming the 5th, 4th and 3rd string. Assuming you have your 1st finger on the 5th fret of the 5th string and 3rd finger on the 7th fret of the 3rd string. You lean the Ist finger over so it is touching the 4th string. This stops the 4th string from sounding. It's also good practice to mute the 2nd string with your 3rd finger in the same way. That way if you strum too far you are not playing an unwanted note.

Backup your save file!!!!! Or risk going back to zero.

I haven't had any problems with Cheap Sunglasses but Werewolves of London corrupts my profile when I play it. -
That's just the way things are with a floating bridge. Changing the tension in one string affects the tension in the other strings which throws them out of tune. If you don't want to go through the multiple re-tunings to get it right then there are ways of locking the bridge. Just google "Locking a floating bridge". You can also buy devices which allow you to switch between floating and locked.

is it so hard to say/click thanks?:/
Flibbs replied to ILoveGazettE's question in Rocksmith Remastered
While I can see a Thanks button on the forum post http://customsforge.com/topic/4158-its-all-over/ I can't see a Thanks button on the record page that contains the download link. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/its-all-over-r2851 Since most people probably go via the CDLC Search to check new content then they won't see a Thanks button. -
I think you may be missing the point. It's not about creating a new scale. It's about combining separate scales to be more versatile. The scales you combine can depend on the chord. e.g. for a 12 bar blues in A Maj on the D you could combine Am pentatonic and D Maj pentatonic. Similar for the E chord.

How to create a CDLC without a background song in EOF.
Flibbs replied to tester2's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You can add a drum track in Guitar Pro. Google drum notation for how to do the tab. Use something like hi hat, kick or snare (or a combination). Mute any other tracks and export as wav. Edited to add link for drum notation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percussion_notation- 8 replies
