Is it me or does the Weezer rhythm track get slightly off time somewhere in the middle?

Not sure if this will be my only submission, but I thought I better get it in.

Hi All
Two years ago sometime in December I picked up my old electric guitar and started to play Rocksmith and about one and half year ago I joined to this Championship.
I am just writing this because during this one and half year period, thanks to the championship I knew few bands I didn't know before. One of this is Paramore. In my opinion they make really good songs and I love to play them.
This week results:
Br.: Balage
I too discovered Paramore through Rocksmith. I'm right there with you!

only a few passes this week. Biffy Clyro is always a workout.
Too fun! My proper bass is in use by my son, so had to emulate it. I'll have to try it when my wayward bass returns next week after the concert.

And better...
@ diceslinger How do you play arpeggios that start with the intro? With a modified Dm chord and two notes on the 1st and 3rd frets of the A string. I have a way of playing this without taking my whole hand off the fretboard, just moving the index fingers (1) and little finger (4). But I get better accuracy when I play it like a single note without catching a chord, although I know this is not the correct way
That is about where I am. I play it more like single notes. I want to just bar the first fret, but there is that open D note, so you can't really do that. I am anchoring my second finger on the second fret of the orange string, and the others move to get the notes. I feel like most of my mistakes are picking rather than fingering. I wonder if fingerpicking would be better for this one.
Really great score there, I don't know if I'm going to catch it!

This song looks easy, but man, I'm just not getting anywhere!

It is so disorienting when the music slows down and the RS notes don't. Not the best CDLC.
Finally got through SA

much better
It's like a stoner song done by someone who hadn't tried it. Strange.

I was expecting you to come at night (in my time) and beat me even on all paths
I wonder if you are practicing a lot outside of Rocksmith as I see a lot of improvement in your results lately? And playing November Rain without a strike was a really good attempt, I tried it once and was eliminated in the final solo. So congrats on great scores!
I will try to improve the Bass today, maybe I can achieve 99% too
Yeah, sorry, I would rather not post at the last minute. I used to play the contest songs every day and posted every improvement. Life has been a roller coaster for the last few weeks/months/years so I'm not playing every day like I used to. I'm still trying to get my dad's estate closed up. I'm almost there, but all the nastiness is coming out since we are at the end. I just want to be done with it.
I'd like to get back to posting throughout the week. It leads to better battles, and I think all of us in the advanced class would benefit from the push of competition. I feel like I'm stagnating, so refocusing would help. Hopefully things calm down over the next few months and I can get back to the real important things in life, like playing guitar

I've played this song a bit, but the championships pushed me to a personal best
Hadn't played it much on rhythm tho
Not sure this song will be in my playlist, but hella fun to play!

Yay, i think that´s a bit the story of a lot of us. ... Skipping a bit but starting the Posies on Spoty.
Here is something interesting for the ongoing discussion - i really like the Pixies
@ jellisjenius You might agree on the following:
As music taste obviously is something only subjective there are (not taking the actual ability to play the instruments and sing into account) no objectively bad bands.I have been thinking a lot about that, and i still think it´s very important to be able to call a band bad and terrible subjectively for ones own taste. If a band releases their work they thereby put it up for public judgement. As much as it is possible the songs can be found great - they can be found bad, and in case that applies to the majority of the bands songs for someone the band will subjectively be voted bad overall by that listener, and is in no way a generalization. That has nothing to do with the popularity (see @ GeoAbraxas - The Beatles), the good or bad behavior, their potential worth for the community (the 3rd / another band i find really bad is U2), their innovativeness or their influence on other bands. By that kind of being disliked noone is insulted, it´s rather the opposite - disagreements surely will lead to more clicks on the songs/vids. The point where we must be careful is to allow that opinions, for others and also for ourselves. Being - i don´t know how to call it but - "politically correct" here by arguing a band cannot be bad leads to uniformity where everything is somehow ok for everyone, if not just everything is called "great". That´s not good in questions of taste, nor is it in many parts of life. My kids are 12 and 9 now and i feel it´s a damn hard job for them to develop a sense of things that are good or bad. It might be a central Europe luxury problem, idk but from being born everything is captured on video and every little action is applauded and celebrated. When they enter school they have the self-confidence of a lion, and even the teachers are very soft those days cause there is enormous pressure from the parents forming conspiracies via whattsapp on the slightest sign of strictness. So - with that lack of fronts their praised mediocrity is the new great (see random youtube vids of influencers and the number of followers), so everything is way more easily great than i remember it was back in my youth - and what´s bad? Life will tell them a bit later? I drifted away a bit , that´s just the way it is and shall be now and i am to inflexible to just accept it.
So i am heavily appealing to anyone to listen closely, dare to find bands really bad and tell it to the world.Rod.
P.S: The Posies are so pleasant to listen to! Thx for the tip.
My take is this:
The only bad band is the one that doesn't put their heart and soul into their music! the creation of art and music is literally reaching into the ether and pulling out something that didn't exist previously. It is the stuff of gods! If you play/sing/create something and it resonates with just one other soul, that is mighty.
But there is music out there I don't resonate with, that is for sure!

Rough week, I feel like I missed out on some fun songs. Maybe I'll get some time tomorrow before the new week is up. I really liked Tetris...Spent WAY too many hours playing that on my Gameboy!

I enjoyed this one...it sparked some interesting conversations about copyright and such.
I had the best luck with the drop B tuning, but still, just a tough song to play.
Why does bass always make more sense? Ah, cause it is the bones of the song. I don't know how I'm not a bass player.
