  1. Unfortunately there currently isn't. Lowest res the program can go seems to be 1102 by 782 (including title bar).
  2. There's a good long list of differences/features on the github page. Generally it's faster to build/test songs and there's a 64 bit version so you can do longer songs without running out of memory, but that's just the basic stuff and there's quite a few more technical improvements and quality of life improvements.
  3. They linked to records on the old site so they stopped working when I4 came out. They should still exist in the database if you search for them. Or you can take the number at the end of the link and add it to https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/ Eg http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/hush-r8762 to https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/8762
  4. It depends on what version of guitar pro you're using but it shouldn't be too bad for most stuff, gp5 has all the techniques on one bar at the bottom and the "index" should cover most of it. I find slides and bends are never tabbed very well and pretty much need doing by ear since they're so vaguely defined in most tab books though. For multiple guitar parts I just do them all in separate tracks and then merge them for rs afterwards. I found this helpful when starting out but the main thing to learn is the note durations and beaming otherwise it will take ages if you have to figure out each note duration by ear.
  5. This isn't too bad. Oh no. LAS it it then. Lead for fun too.
  6. Nice tapping bits. Oh no, that synth sounds terrible and is gonna be stuck in my head all day. I forgot to get the G.O.B song so I'll try it later.
  7. In-game you control it with the hotkey bound in the rsmods gui which speeds it up in increments up to 200. I like to set mine to 5
  8. It's nothing new, the method/files haven't changed since 2016.
  9. Sounds like you forgot to add the .dll. D3DX9_42.dll needs to be placed in the root folder (the one with rocksmith2014.exe). Give this a read
  10. FHP control the highway lanes/open note widths/camera so it's probably an error with them, you always seem to get a ton of fhp errors when working from .xml import, so I regenerate them and that seems to fix mostly it. Ctrl + A (select all the notes) then note, generate fhp. If it asks to remove them say yes. I'd also recommend removing DD before importing an xml so it's easer to select them all and to generally work with in eof.
  11. You just need to restore the backup cache it made to undo it. Then you can delete the RSMods folder if you have no further use for it, which is in the games root folder.
  12. Sounds like a .dll issue (Unless you're on mac, where you should try reapplying the patch) D3DX9_42.dll is in the wrong place/has the wrong file name. It needs to be placed in the root folder (the one with rocksmith2014.exe), not the dlc folder or any other folder and should not have been renamed in any way (no (1) at the end or something). Alternatively RSMods (vid guide) or the song manager can install the dll for you.
  13. This is real fun to play, game don't like my slides too much tho. Probably have to do SA later Lead for fun
  14. I think we had Melez a while ago, I remember enjoying it a fair bit.
  15. You don't need any fancy tools or mods. Just pause during a song, select mixer and turn the music volume to 0.
  16. Shows up in the just fine for me with the string "Wish You Were Here". You're using ignition, not the forum search right? link to record
  17. Ya probably shouldn't. Pls check the rules.
  18. Looks like I gotta SA this one. Not a bad song, bit repetitive tho. Oof, those fills eh not a huge fan of this type of stuff
  19. Ya can press tab in the bass tuner to use emulated bass and play it on guitar, it's good enough to spot most errors. For tone, here's a generic bass one I use on nearly everything.
  20. It pops up for chords that don't have fingering defined in "chordshapes.xml". You can get a better one here (section 1.4 Chord Fingerings) but most of the time it's better to do them all manually. You put the finger in the finger box used to play the note. If it's an open note leave it blank. 1 for index 2 for middle 3 for ring 4 for pinky T for thumb (I think?) I just put how I'd play it. Get ya guitar out and try a bunch of different fingerings and see what works best.
  21. oof bass isn't too bad had to give this one a go too
  22. @loco3000 I'd recommend changing the "Corona by Utsu-P (feat. Kagamine Rin) " link to this version since it's in the correct tuning and it's got all the tracks.
  23. Snake got a higher score in SA so he wins (or is this only for 100%'s?)
  24. Looks like I'll have to try some more later.
