For the blondie song on bass, i shift a lot just of 1 fret to have the ring finger on 5 and to go back with the index on 2 instead of using the pinkie which can be tired quickly. And playing standing is a bit harder but everything you can play standing, you can do it while sitting, the opposite is not always true.

I was actually thinking about recording the whole process but most of the time i don't do it in one shot once i get past the syncing part to go to the testing and adjustement part and i finish with tone and that can take a lot of session sometimes so it's kind of hard to keep a record of the whole creating from A to Z. We don't have tutorials about convertion from a plateform to another (it's easy but it has been ask a lot already), nothing about how to place section and tone switch in EOF. I think we could use a good complement on the tech note tutorial about bend (especially unison bend) and slides (which one aren't correctly imported and how to correct it quickly). Tone tutorial isn't really possible i already offer my help for all magna charter that want to see how i create one but one tone is always different and there's no sure things about what you should absolutely use or not and it can vary a lot between each songs and even the guitar/bass uses to create it and there's a lot of personal preference in it too which make it almost impossible to do a tutorial about it, it's only about try&test.

You can't. Well it's not entirely impossible but you would need to have the multitrack songs file (which in many case are not available) and you'll need to unpack, and repack the cdlc with the new song file. You'll have to make sure that the songs are perfectly the same and add the same silence at the start of songs to not fucked up the cdlc. So it's not impossible but checking all those condition can be hard and i suggest that you actually talk to the author to let him add it himself if he want.

You don't provide a solution you say how you want people to work on their own custom, that's mostly my problem and you confirmed it with your slides explication, you can do it the way you show it, but you can do it in others way that works too, there's no right or wrong as long as what is displayed in RS is good. And I'm not sure that doing it in the general section is the best way to do it because your openly attack all the others charter without any kind of distinction including you Don't get me wrong I completely agree with the message you try to pass but I'm pretty sure it won't as long as you do it this way ;) About the chord name, I see your point but I see others point that just like to have the name not corresponding to what they hear but what they see, a A chord shape is still a A chord shape whatever the tuning you use.

The first point depends on everyone taste, some care to learn what the actual real name chord some prefer to have the name as they were in E std, no real obligation here. And for the two other point I supposed you never actually taken the time to see how time consuming it can be when you do a custom and many people don't actually care about it (especially sustain length). Okay I supposed it wrong since you've actually created custom but I don't think I tried everyone of yours, i'll have to try them. And in fact I prefer to do a mix for the slide between both of your screen with the use of the linknext status, and their is a lot of different way to chart the exact same thing in slides and sometimes choose between pitch/unpitch slides can't be as obvious as it might seems. I see what you are trying to suggest but I think they are bigger problem (I mostly think about sync issues) that can make customs unplayable. I admire what you are trying to do but I think you are doing it without the full view of what it implies for everybody and that won't help charter to take in consideration your point.

Yeah well... i don't spend much time into RR but i play a lot (1-2 hours a day and most of the time streaming) so it help to get around a lot of rhythm part easily but those solo are still kicking me out.

Ok so i've made a quick play on all those songs : Autotheist Movement II : Emancipate, instead of open hand muted note, it would be really cool to have the same chord than before to only have small boxes so that we actually can see the rhythm. Overall there some part in some solo that didn't sound quite right but it was probably me playing like shit! There some little things with slides but it's hard to pinpoint, some linknext status are missing, some are supposed to be unpitch slides, some are just 1 fret unpitch slides up... But overall it's already pretty good even if it's hard as hell to play...

So yeah after testing, 24 fret is the limit so the hand fret position can go to 21 max.

I'm gonna do some tests tomorrow to see how far we can go on the fretboard in RS so that EOF works accordingly to RS possibility.

RS2014 goes to 24 on the fret number, never seen more tho but i supposed nobody tried to chart a 30 fret songs because we're assuming RS doesn't support it in the first place, so it might actually worth a try.

The fee is for licensing (it explain that some song aren't imported from RS1 to RS2014 cause some artist didn't want to or ask for too much money) and maybe for the work done to adapt the songs.

The "*" symbol means that there multiple tech note on the sustain. Look at what are the tech notes on this note and see if by moving/deleting them the problem is still here or not.
