Hey everybody, My first time in the championship, thought I'd start on the easy one:

This brought a smile to my face. My first little "performance" for my wife and kids a few months ago after I started playing seriously was a playthrough of the entire Dark Side of the Moon album. I know this groove well so it didn't feel as stressful as advanced level songs usually do:

I'll stay at the beginners level at least a while... So I had a few acceptable results yesterday. I'll have a go again to day. This is not such a difficult song, but sometimes the program don't hear my strumming. But the other "beginner" song is much more difficult! I have an okay score, but I think it is because it doesn't really hear my rythm. I have no Idea what I'm doing in the fast places. I would say diff 4 at least. The only real problem I have with the Power Wolf, is the speed. And I'm fingering... (haven't learned the plecter-thingy. )

Little better. I can't get those quick changes to the chords and back. Especially that chord on the 13th and 16th fret. Just feels unnatural, I need to hold the guitar differently to play it. Also, those runs of 11 -13 on G, D, and B Strings are hard. I get one bit figured out, then either I start playing the wrong string, or the wrong fret, and cant get back into the groove. More practice needed.

Since you're all still sleeping (or working ), I get to post again. I think, that this Coldplay should maybe be difficulty 1. Do you even have a song, called difficulty 1? But it went very well this time. I couldn't do a better Evanescence, but I managed to get Powerwolf a bit better. But I don't think the computer quite follow a real counting... I think that Powerwolf and Evanescence should be the same level. Evanescence is not that fast, but has an insane rythm, that I still haven't quite figured out. While Powerwolf is simple, yet very fast. And I'm still not using pick...

I saw several Pink Floyd songs and I was wondering... Could anyone make The pros and cons of Hitchhking by Roger Waters? The whole album is a masterpiece and I'd love to have Sexual Revolution, The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking and Every Strangers eyes. Thanks!
