If you own Rocksmith, you might want to try Razer Game Booster.

Question

Some of you might already know about this app. I got it when @@Uncle Waldo mentioned it here http://customsforge.com/topic/2593-don-t-loose-your-save-file/
I just got around to reading some reviews on it. Sounds really cool.
Doing a Google review search, the review’s were favorable.
I was always going to do a search on the forum to figure out how people record Rocksmith gameplay.
Now I know. This software will do it. The best part is, its free.

Luckily the graphics card I have allowed me to put Rocksmith on maximum, and for some reason I can even reduce the latency below normal (despite my processor being old).

With that said, I have used similar things with old computers to help speed things up.  Looks like this one is free, which is great, and no one has complained much about it yet.  Anyone try the screen cast?

It also installed "conduit search" and some dumbass "speed up your PC" crap.

Malware / Spyware / Shitware as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not impressed.

If u want to record your game to a file then Open Broadcaster software works great..

I've never trusted these 'game boosters'. I'd rather script shutting down of services and background apps on my PC than use one..

Not sure about game booster but in open broadcaster, you can set up a hotkey to start and stop recording when in-game at full screen.

I have not tried it myself specifically in rocksmith, but if you have Nvidia Shadowplay enabled graphics card, you can use GeForce Experience Shadowplay feature to record gameplay from any game that uses DirectX in fullscreen 1080p with as little as 5% loss of performance.
