Good afternoon! First, the particulars - I'm using a widows 10 machine and Song Manager v 1.2.9 Say, I wanted to add dynamic difficulty to this song "Roads to Madness" by Queensryche. I'm afraid it may be too long? Is this a known issue? The song is just over 9 minutes long. This is the error: Maximum playable arrangement limit? Anyway, I double checked on another shorter song and adding the DD works. Like a charm actually. It's pretty frickin cool. Thanks guys!

Unpacking was the old way of getting it into the Rocksmith dlc folder. Are you saying if I just copy the files straight into the dlc folder it'll work?

If an admin can delete the other thread I started in the toolkit section that'd be good. I think I may have started that in the wrong place. I'm looking for detailed instructions on how to simply unpack a p.parsec file using the latest build. I had to rebuild my PC and after getting the appropriate files through the AV software (Norton) I cannot for the life of me get a song unpacked and into the game. Right now I'm going in circles. I swear I have the configurations all set, the D3DX9.DLL file is where it goes, etc.... I'm feeling pretty friggin stupid here.

I'm not sure I was clear so if I wasn't I apologize, but I'm just looking to install the CDLC I've downloaded from here. Not trying to create any new ones.

I got it past that point, but now when I unpack, or rather "Repack AppID" it goes through the motions like the old build, but it's not in my list of songs. It doesn't put it in the folder I specified in the configuration. Do all the steps I've put in check out?

Okee doke.... So I unzipped the file, then Click "rocksmithtoolkitgui.exe" and Norton flags it.I tell Norton to pound sand, and trust it.Go back in to the toolkit and it forces me to configure it.The only thing I do is point the Rocksmith 2014 path to the correct path - \steam\steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014Put the D3DX9.DLL correctly named into the Rocksmith root folder and it didn't work so I put it in the DLC folder no go either.When unpacking the p.parsec file, I choose "Repack AppID" confirming I'm using Cherub Rock. Somewhere in there I'm missing something but I'm sick as a dog and don't want to deal with it anymore. Been at it for a while.

I'm having fits trying to get this rocksmithtoolkitgui.exe past Norton. As soon as I did, (which i have to do again and again) it's putting a folder named after the song instead of the .pparsec file into the Rocksmith DLC folder. I've been working this issue all day. The unpacker used to just ask for me to click on a file, and it would just come up with "AppID Updated" real quick. Am I using the right program or what? I had to rebuild my PC with a new motherboard.

Yea, 1 too many beers at the tournament yesterday. I didn't make a .gp5 file with "RocksmithToTabs" program first. Oops.

Sometimes I'd like to take a small section of a song, and print out the tabs so I can just sit in front of the TV and work on it. Is there a way to take the CDLC data, put it in a readable format and print it out from Word, Excel or Notepad?

I had them as cdlc too.. I also bought the dlc from ubi because i actually want to see rocksmith thrive As did I.

Apparently the next release will be 3 Queensryche songs. HOPEFULLY they don't just do 1 from Mindcrime and 2 from Empire. I'd LOVE to see old school Take Hold of the Flame or some such. So stoked for this release. Me and probably like 5 other people.... :)
