  1. Hi guys, I am already playing Rocksmith with a lot of CDLC on PC But recently, my PC cannot stand the heat produced by Rocksmith (yeay, it's an old laptop) And I had tried google and search around the forum on how to Import CDLC to Xbox 360, but no result. Yes, I do realize that some of the CDLC have format for xbox. But, I could not find any tutorial on how to import them into my Xbox External HDD My Xbox is modded, JTAG, and has lot of experience using Horizon So, may I know the steps to import them? FROM A - Z
  2. Hey Guys, I am trying to do the song Pagan's Mind - Back To The Magic Of Childhood Exploring Life Part 2 which is a 9'17 song the tab I have is 9'14 which of course is fine. The problem is when I import the tab into EOF the notes go well past the song onto 12'15 in length and have major issues matching anything up. It seems about half way through a lot of the notes have spread very far apart which is not how it should be. Going over the tab in GP6 it all looks and sounds fine, so is there a problem with EOF or something I am not seeing in the tab? It's very strange, been at this for several hours now. I see someone has done part one, perhaps they didn't do part two for this very reason. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Hey Guys, I have a song with an intro which leads into the main song but these are two separate Guitar Pro files, is there any way to import these into Editor On Fire without overwriting each other? The obvious answer seems to just merge them into one Guitar Pro file and then import. Thanks.
  4. 9. After having - synced a project in EOF (with a lot of anchors and different BPM inbetween) - added silence and an offset to 0 (additional beat) I sometimes would like to - import a complete alternate GP5 for comparison - import a part of a GP5 consisting of some corrected/alternate bars (i.e. Solo) in an unused track. Tabs are imported in EOF at the 1st beat, with the BPM of these starting positions. Am I missing something in EOF, (or has this been answered before ?) but it doesn't seem possible to import a Gp5 in EOF at the closest/next beat of the current position (green vertical line) and respect the BPM of these positions. Solutions : 1. In EOF "Beat - Push Offset up" to remove the starting empty pause beat. Import the GP5 Then "Beat - Push offset back/to zero" to restore the starting pause beat. (only possible if the GP5 starts at the first bar/beat, not possible to insert a GP5 anywhere) 2. Adding empty bars and pauses in GP5 (the imported part gets imported at the right beat) a single bar (in case of importing a GP5 starting at the first beat, which will be 2nd beat in EOF) 19 bars (in case of importing a partial GP5 starting at the 20th beat in EOF) 3. Starting a 2nd instance of EOF Import the alternate/partial GP5 Copy notes and paste them at the current position (green line) in the 1st instance of EOF Locate the 1st Tech Notes in the 2nd instance of EOF, move the green line to the right position in the 1st instance of EOF copy and paste Tech Notes. Or is their a more immediate way ?
  10. Hi guys! I'm very new to the Editor On Fire program, and it has been hard work for the to completely create a CDLC. Therefore, I'd like to ask you guys if it's possible to use Frets of Fire project files to use for Rocksmith 2014 CDLC. I mean it's based around the same editor, afterall. Thanks in advance!
  11. Hi, Just wondering if you might consider adding GPX for the import option in EoF I have been working on some songs that have double dotted rests and notes but when exporting from GP6 to GP5 format I loose the double dots which throws things out of sync here and there when I import the file into EoF. Or can anyone offer a workaround that I can use to substitute the double dots within GP6 so everything is in the right place when exported to GP5 format?
  12. Hi! Just a question about the rocksmith import key. Will the songs from rocksmith 1 get imported to rocksmith 2014 if i download rocksmith 1? I have the import key already but I don't have rocksmith 1.
  13. I know that is not possible with CDLC from RS2014, but there's any way that i can load to the EoF a guitar/bass arrangement from a finished CDLC? I really want to modify, add sections and more stuff to my customs but i deleted a long time ago the files so all i got are my finished CDLC
  14. Hello everyone :) I'm new here and I wanted to make a CDLC of this song Being a cover there are no tabs of it so I started to make them by my own on Guitar Pro 6. At this point I ended the Rythm guitar part and i wanted to test it but i can't import it in Eof. It can't see the file when i do Import from Guitar Pro, also it gives error when i try to load the XML version of it. It's my first time so i have no idea what to do. Thanks EDit: Here is the file http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/12441827/file.html
  15. I need your help for Freeware program Tuxguitar: I got it without gpx plugin and can not get it as I can not build this by myself from jar or whatever it is originally packed. (and I know it is there working as I read on the net about gpx import) there is C:tuxguitarshareplugins and there should be directory: tuxguitar-gpx with few files and subdirectories so I need this whole directory: tuxguitar-gpx so I can copy it to my tuxguitar directory and I hope it will work :)
  16. Hi, I have a problem. I want to create my first CDLC for Rocksmith 2014 but I can't because Guitar Pro Import option is not active. Anyone knows why? FYI: I found on a forum that there is a tutorial on how to setup EoF on http://rocksmithcustoms.wikispaces.com/ but it says I don't have permission to view this site. So... yeah.
  17. Is there a tool one can use to import standard text tabs like those found at ultimate-guitar.com into the custom song toolkit?
