I know that feeling. I can play a song a million times relaxed but whenever I press the record button to make a video I tense up the whole time. -

There are no problems playing the windows version.

Yup toggle the 3rd and 5th chord in that first picture. The handshape for the 1st chord will follow through to the 2nd chord. The second chord's handshape will continue for something like 50ms if you don't extend it (your eyes won't notice the 50ms). The third chord (now toggled crazy) will not be a high density repeat pane anymore. It's handshape will continue into the next chord. The fourth chord's handshape will continue for another 50ms if you don't you extend it. The fifth chord (now toggled crazy) will not be a high density repeat pane anymore. It's handshape will continue into the next chord. The sixth chord's handshape will continue for another 50ms if you don't you extend it.

I downloaded Korn_Freak-on-a-Leash_v1_DD_p.psarc which is for a windows PC only and it works. You can't play _p.psarc files on a mac, only _m.psarc files, which ISN'T on the Freak On A Leash download page. You can use the Custom Song Creator Toolkit to convert it to mac. The download link is in the description of the youtube video. The third tab is the converter tab. If you are still having trouble, check out the mac discussion here: http://customsforge.com/topic/10547-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/

Wow that sucks if they really did get rid of cymbals. Hopefully they change their minds and at least let us use the old ones. I guess it'll probably be set in stone if that's what they have at E3 in a couple weeks.

If you are playing other songs on your PC, purchased Cherub Rock, have the dll in the Rocksmith 2014 directory, and have the customs in the DLC directory (or subfolder), I don't know why it's not working for you (sorry). There is no problem with the chart. I just (re)downloaded it and all arrangements are working. It wouldn't hurt to re-download the custom song and put it in your DLC folder again in case it got corrupted somehow.

Sorry for not being more specific. In the youtube description there is a DLL file you need to download and place in your Rocksmith folder. If you've been playing custom songs before, then the problem is with the chart.

Guitar Pro Tabbing Tutorial?
Rockfirstlast replied to Goofiestbee's question in Rocksmith Remastered
If you already understand notation but don't know how to enter notes into the program, just press F1. It brings up a very useful help guide. I bet the answer to every question you got is in that guide. -

Awesome! Can't wait til Rock Band 4 comes out so I can get a new drum set and try this.
-
It will only work for one song. But it's good to learn "new" chords, right?
-
Here's one way to do it: If you use the Rocksmith Toolkit you can click IMPORT and select the CDLC. It's gonna create a folder, open it and look for (songname)lead.xml CTRL+F and find chordName="Db" and change it to C# or whatever you want. Save and close the xml file. Back in the toolkit click generate and you'll create your new altered CDLC.

Just played it. Good work on the lead. Everything in the lead was good, though it was hard to hear the original track over the guitar. If you dial down the reverb a bit it won't be so overpowering. Lead was good, and as for those chords in the beginning the chart alternated between a G and F power chord, but it sounds like it should be a Cminor and Bb chord. Except for the final measure before the lead starts, that was some sort of G chord so I'd leave that part as it is. (in short move move those intro chords up a string, except for the final set of 355 power chords). Also, good song choice.

I don't think I'll be bending any strings for another 24 hours or so. Heal Time! http://i.imgur.com/0MROj0F.jpg -
Here's a tip that might help. If you are unable to transfer a text tab to guitar pro because you don't know notation (quarter notes and all that stuff) try entering directly into EOF. Lower the playback speed and set the grid snap to 1/32.

Sometimes I have to use a touch screen PC with no mouse and no keyboard. Very frustrating and I end up using a lot of very bad words.
