raynbec whats about a fretboard that shows the note positions? It's not the best solution but maybe possible, ok it's not the fastes way to re tab the song but one way. -

Well probably i'm the big exception in that topic. Because there was never a song for me where i would say. Yeah i can do it. For me was it more the fact, that my dad has an old guitar which he played in his youth ages. I never play it really only picking some strings nothing else (age of 4-10). Later i got psychological problems in young age of 12 and after 7 years i figure out that the sound of a guitar chilled me down and stuff like that. So i bought my first accustic guitar with 19 (very cheap second hand) and playing around. Now im 26 and it still works for me and helps me. So i had to admit i never was into it to really learn the guitar and bass. But i like/love to play it because of psychological reasons. Cheers guys -

*Pusher*No seriously, since 1 week i try to make a Custom Tone for Enemy Within and to be honest. I'm only 1 failed Tone Test away to smash everything.So if someone could Help me, (probably for later projects too) PLS do it. I'm really despairing, because some of u want AE Songs and i cant even finish then because of those Tone Bullshit.

I had to agree with that.It is better to use no DD with Riff Repeater and slow down the speed. I had it in RS1 sometimes, i try to learn it like u want to do, seen every single note and that shit. But after a "level" up i had to put my fingers completly diffrent than i think i had to do. Thats the big point of RR with 100 % of the song and slowing it down. U can allready see where u had to put your fingers and can choose so exactly where u will start to learn. A Solo can look much easier with DD but then try to lvl up u stop sooner or later probably because u cant really handle it.

Well i understand it, when i start to chart the Arch Enemy songs, the tabs was made for 3-4 guitars. not the biggest problem, but the problems begin when when 2 guitars playing both the solo (mostly diffrent string but match together). Or even worth 4 guitars, 2 playing solos at the same time, but all over the song there are small pieces of single solos. First problem i solved by just created clear splitted parts Lead and Rhythm. For the second problem i didn't found a solution since yet.

So i write it down here again, for our new Guys. If u send Eddie or me a PM for the CDLC list, Feedback is great, but also write them under the tested CDLC/WIP. We need the Feedbacks to testing, thats right, but more to see if those problems are fixed if we test them again. So we can only re-test the CDLC/WIP , if those things are fixed, when the Charter Knowing those problems. Also put in what u tested, Rhythm,Lead, Bass or everything. Better for us and the Charter. If the CDLC/WIP isn't in the list yet, so first test ever pls give us the Link for it, too. Thx for reading.

Well at the moment:95 % Playing Babymetal CDLC 5% fucks up in Tone Designer sadly I'm to stupid to create a Tone for my CDLC XD

Well I'm trying around with the Accustic emulator at loop position with the right setting it sounds a little bit more like a accustic guitar with steel string. thats all what i figure out since yet. but the sound is heavily depend on the guitar and his pick ups.

I think everyone could do it. But if everyone would write in it could it end in a mess xD i now im a pessimist. But i think, depening on my personal experience, i could be better if there is a little group of person who are fixed to managed the whole thing. Thats provides trust in the project and respect.

No Problem Eddie, take the time u need and everything is fine.So the list is open and Eddie doesn't have so much time to keep the list up to date. So i decide to sign voluntarily to keep the list up to date. So if u tested a CDLC or a WiP write me a PM and i will add everything to the list.

i cant guarentee anything, but i had a idea how i could do it. Download the Video and play it in slow mo to figure out what is actually play.But i cant say anything about the results after the try, because ,to be honest, i never did something like that before. I give it a try with Headbeanger at first. it would be hard enough after i see it in real speed xD

I known this proble also very well, see my projects xD no tone in here.Well but on the one way, u can Request a Tone here:http://customsforge.com/topic/892-tone-requests/page-2?do=findComment&comment=26607or try by your own or watch out if there is a CDLC with similar Tone that u can use to hav a good basic.

xD probably, because i checked my theory before i wrote it , i wasnt 100% sure about it
