  1. Actually, a more convenient way would be for EoF to drop the highest string, instead of the lowest string, and set the tuning accordingly. Transposing in GP is not always without errors.
  2. Ah, then that's exactly what I wanted. Thanks! :)
  3. Exactly, there is a space between the end of the slide and the next note. Normallg, at least during GP import, without the linknext status, the end of the slide would have another note head, THEN the tiny space, and then the next note.
  4. I can't actually think of a single official DLC that has a note head after a slide. As far as I know, they all have the linknext status (or however they call it) appended.
  5. I don't know what other people think about this, but I would like a EoF to automatically append the "Linknext" status to slide notes. Maybe a user preference? Edit: And maybe for chord slides, automatically append bothe the Linknext and the sustain status? I'd like to know what other people think of this idea
  6. I guess I was expecting it to do that. Oh well, thanks for clearing that up.
  7. You also could have marked the notes in the guitar pro file. You're welcome ;)
  8. fabionosan, ever since a few versions ago, the automatic name given to a package does not include the version number anymore, it just says _v instead of _v(version number). Is this a bug or done on purpose?
  9. http://www.sendspace.com/file/7smxu0 The bar with a 7/8 signature is #123. Setting the BPM of that bar to 254.54 (and the rest to 145.45) fixes it. Same happened with a tab for Ghost Love Score (http://www.sendspace.com/file/zwm4r3 happens at multiple bars), but a simple 1.75x increase of the BPM didn't fix that.
  10. In my opinion, letting the user choose is always better than forcing it one way or another. Anyway, got a question. I noticed that importing guitar pro files with a 7/8 time signature is still not great, aka it still handles it like 3/4 or 4/4 signature. Is there anything you can do to fix that? Right now I'm multiplying the BPM for any 7/8 part by 1.75 and this works well enough, but not always.
  11. Think there's a problem on your end then. I'm still on my first cable from RS1, and it's still working fine.
  12. Oh, should've mentioned this: We can't check sync if we don't also have the guitar.ogg file ;)
  13. Just delete all the fret hand positions and have eof generate them automatically when you save the project? That's what I do anyway.
  14. http://www.mediafire.com/download/ud1lzsu9d8rl24i/Nightwish_Last-Ride-Of-The-Day_v1_repack_p.psarc And on the seventh day, SmellyOrc made a repack!
  15. I've never had ads on sendspace, nor did i ever have to wait unless there was already a download in progress. I think that latter problem still exists for non-paying users. Also, sendspace is SLOW.
  16. One more bug I've encountered: When the lyrics are already in place and I change the bpm on a beat marker with Adjust notes enabled, the lyrics are deleted. Lyric markers are still there, but there's no lyrics. Example project file here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ohvp5b The lyrics don't get deleted when "Adjust Notes" is not enabled.
  17. Raynebc, I encountered another bug (or intended behaviour, I don't know, but it just doesn't look right): EoF doesn't write (or at least not always) a handshape tag on new chords if that chord starts out as a string muted chord. In the game it shows up like this: http://thumbnails110.imagebam.com/31287/2c24ab312864151.jpg It's the string muted repeat after the 3x C5 power chords. In EoF it looks like this: http://thumbnails110.imagebam.com/31287/a2e314312864505.jpg So my question: Is this intended or is it a bug? If it's intended, can/will you change it?
  18. The lyric length (the length of those notes) adjust how long the lyric in the game stays blue (aka how long the lyric should be sung). It's easier/faster to use a program like Ultrastar creator ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/usc/ ) to create lyric files. You normally have to adjust the sync in EoF though, unless you've got a perfect rhythm :)
  19. Raynebc, I've found one .gp5 file which does not import some alternate endings correctly. The file is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/tvvzno The problem starts at bar 49. In eof, I believe it imports ending #1 again, instead of #2.
  20. I don't think that hosting EoF on sendspace is really a problem, since the updates are so small and you only need one file. Even from sendspace it's downloaded in 2 seconds :)
  21. Raynebc, one request. I know that EoF has a rule that it exports low-density chords if the chord was placed within 10 seconds of another chord (same chord). This messes with the highlight, making people think they should hold their chord for longer than they actually have/need to. Is it possible to either 1) have that limit lowered to maybe 1 second or 2) make that limit user-adjustable, so we (well, I) can test what a good value might be for that rule?
