  1. Currently, there's no way to copy/paste them together. They have to be done separately, as you/we have been doing. My guess is that it would be a fairly difficult feature to implement, otherwise I'd like to think @@raynebc would have done it already :D
  2. This is also happening for me.
  3. Thx, I got it figured out. Now I'm trying to figure out how to synchronize the notes properly. I hit ctl A, but it will only let me drag the notes to a certain point... You'll definitely want to check out the tutorials on how to sync your beat map. There's a video tutorial that I did, as well as a text based tutorial that @@firekorn put together a while back. Either of them, or even both will help you out a lot. You DEFINITELY don't want to be dragging notes around as a method of synchronization.
  4. Yes, that's basically it. However, it'd be a lot easier and cheaper to simply connect your mac to your TV via an HDMI cable. That's what I do, except that I have a PC. I leave my PC connected to my TV at all times and use a wireless keyboard, so it definitely makes sense for me. If you feel that the inconvenience of connecting/disconnecting your mac from your TV outweighs the cost savings, then maybe get the Xbox 360 instead. Just be aware that installing custom firmware on your 360 isn't necessarily easy, and you risk rendering your Xbox useless. And you won't find much help here on modding your Xbox, as it's not something that these forums officially support.
  5. That should be the correct file size, yes. I'm certainly not saying that you're incapable of following the tutorial's directions, but rather that it's more likely that you'd find a quicker solution via the tutorial steps than through one of us guessing your specific issue among the many possible scenarios. I can't tell you how may times I've seen someone that said "I followed the tutorial, but..." only to discover that they missed a step. Couldn't to run through it again step by step. I you could post a screenshot of your root folder, where the .dll file is, that could end up being helpful in discovering the problem.
  6. My guess would be that you have the custom .dll file (from the tutorial) in the wrong folder. It must be in Rocksmith's root folder, which is one folder level back from the dlc folder. You probably have the .dll in dlc folder. If you have it the correct folder and it still doesn't work, then maybe try the alternate .dll file instead of the one you currently have.

  8. That wiki article is so phony that I was half expecting to see some Rick Astley in their setlist. :D
  9. You must not have followed the instructions correctly. Your best bet is to remove any/all custom .dlls and start over. You need to literally follow the directions word for world to ensure that you have not missed something. Also, if you've tried multiple times with different .dll files, it's worth noting that you should only have ONE in the root folder (not the dlc folder) and if you've added the same .dll multiple times, it cannot have a (2) in the file name.
  10. It sounds like the input jack of your guitar could well be to blame. First, check it make sure that it's secure and does not wiggle around. If it does, than tighten it. You may also want to remove the input jack (just a couple of screws to undo) and make sure that the cable makes a proper connection with the live and ground contact points. Also, this isn't the appropriate place to make requests. There's a separate area for that.
  11. Ah, ok. That makes sense. Maybe there would be a way for you to create some logic such as - "if the nominator is 6 (or 12), then change the denominator to 8." 6/8 and 12/8 are much more common than 6/4 and 12/4, so it'd at least be a step in the right direction. Thanks again for the work that you've done so far!
  12. It's actually not too difficult, to get excellent sounding audio. Maybe @PC_Plum can list out his 37 step process  (which does work quite well too). Is there a particular part that you have questions about? Yes - I have talked to Plum a bit about this topic but not enough to really understand what I would need to do. Maybe an intro into the different types of audio files, ranked by quality (.ogg, .mp3, etc...) and then a write up on what can be done (if anything) to enhance each type???? No worries. I'll just PM you and hopefully we can sort it out.
  13. Really cool tool to have. Thanks for all the work you've put into this! Not sure if you're aware, but the there seems to be a bit of bug with 12/8 time signatures. It mistakenly exports them as 12/4 instead.

  16. 1) A magnetized screwdriver could never de-magnetize a pickup. It's much to weak of a magnet to cause any long term affects to the pickup's stronger magnetic field. 2) The orientation of the bridge actually depends on the specific model of Tune-O-Matic bridge you have. This post goes into great detail on that. My ES-335 has an ABR-1 bridge, so they face toward the neck.
  17. I think you still don't understand me,I DONT HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ENGLISH! Sorry if I was rude,I'm tired. And i said the 'how high should be in a measure ' part, because in 2 or 3 videos the guy said it should be 2 or 3 mm. Also thanks for the link i will definitly check it :D It's entirely possible that the saddles would be at a height of 2-3 mm. But like I said, it depends on how straight your neck is. You could easily have yours lower than that if your neck has more relief (curve) to it. There is no exact measurement for every guitar, or every player.
  18. You don't really NEED a tutorial that is specific to any type of guitar. The basic idea is the same, no matter the brand or design. If you have trouble learning from English videos, than your other option is to try and find a text based tutorial. From there you can probably use the built in translator in your browser, or even Google translate, so that's it's easier for you. This one should work for you: http://www.samash.com/help/library/main/How_to_Set_Up_an_Electric_Guitar.html There is no exact/perfect height for your bridge saddles because everyone has a different preference. It also depends heavily on how straight (or not straight) your neck is - which is why you'll want to properly adjust the neck first. Anyway... just follow the steps in the tutorial in that link and you should be good to go.
  19. Forgot to add that you'll probably want to make sure that your truss rod is properly adjusted before you worry about saddle height, because they both affect one another. This should help, though it's in English.
  20. It would help you quite a bit if you just searched for a "how to set up a guitar" tutorial in your native language. Start with google or youtube. The ideas are exactly the same on any guitar - Fender or Gibson. Seems like we haven't been able to answer your questions about setting guitars by replying with words or English tutorial videos. Try some in your own language - maybe that will be easier to understand. So I'd do that first if I were you. There's also a foreign language support sub-forum on here, I do not know how active it is. It just seems like you're asking the same question in different ways - which means we're not really helping you :D The picture that you posted with the screwdriver shows how to adjust the saddles backward and forward, for intonation. To raise or lower the saddles, you need to adjust the screws on the outside of your high and low E strings.
  21. I didn't use EoF to generate the preview audio. It was also generated with the Toolkit. I seem to recall getting 30 second previews with the Toolkit in the past.
  22. Hey guys, I've noticed something strange regarding the preview .wem file that the Toolkit generates. This has only started happening since the most recent updates to the WWise integration (not sure what release that was). The in-game preview ends up being only a couple of seconds long (used to be significantly longer) and the pitch of the music is slightly higher than it should be. Playback of the actual CDLC, however, is completely fine. It's happened on the handful of songs I've packaged up since the Wwise stuff was tinkered with. Here's an "afflicted" .psarc for you: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1p2z4j1b6395vq4/AADAzKFMAnCJ97oLu44MEIQ6a?dl=0
  23. @@firekorn I guess I should have stressed that I meant MORE visible, because it's not as if we haven't tried. Clearly not everyone is going to make an effort to look for an answer before asking a question, but maybe we can do more to prevent new users from asking this type of question. I'm sure there's just as many people who never ask (or search for the answer) and therefore never become an active member of the community. Obviously that's a lose/lose situation. Would there be a way to make the "How get CDLCs working... etc" tutorial the default home page for new users? Or maybe just the tutorials sub-forum itself? Perhaps once they've met some requirement, like x days of membership, or x number of posts, then we can send them to the normal CF home page. Just a thought... nothing worth ranting about any more than I already have :)
  24. This is what you're looking for: http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/ @Mods/admins - is there a way that we can make this tutorial even more visible to new members? Seems like lots of people miss it somehow, as this question/issue always comes up.
