  1. http://customsforge.com/topic/2336-tone-switch A quick search in the forum could have given you the answer ;)
  2. simply don't use the same BPM, i'm pretty sure that's due to a difference on how the BPM is set between EOF and GP, i think GP might have a BPM set for the 8th note while EOF is set for a quarter note which lead to some serious problem when you try to combine the same BPM based on a quite different unit.
  3. Waveform graph is just a representation of the sounds, it's absolutely correct no matter what. If it's wrong in EOF or in RS, it's wrong in both! The toolkit doesn't change anything to the sync or the note and the BPM indication doesn't need to be exact in the toolkit. The toolkit doesn't change the xml file generated by EOF! You can have BPM variation in EOF it's not a problem at all. IF the BEATMAP is in sync in EOF, and the note correctly snap to the grid there's no possibility for the note to become un-sync in RS! I strongly suggest you make sure that the beatmap (and the note that should be snapped to it) in EOF is correct in the first place.
  4. it's not due to the number of cdlc but some particular cdlc. Some people have over 1000 customs and RS works fine (just take a shit load of time to enumarate the downloadable content but that's perfectly normal). To see some known cdlc that provoke the corrupted save file take a look here : http://customsforge.com/topic/4863-list-of-crashers-jammers-dead-toners-and-misc-problems/
  5. Cédric from france. I've start playing trombone at the age of 7 and played in an orchestra for about 8 years and learn a lot in music theory at the same time. The funny thing is that I came to buy my first (and only for the moment) guitar right after I've bought Rock Band 3 to play along the pro guitar track an it was quite funny then I heard of Rocksmith but I had to wait till 2013 to get it and I didn't hesitate much looking at all the review available. From there I never stopped playing guitar. I've been a bit at SA at the time but the place didn't feel right and I tried to do a custom but never get even close to finish it so even if I did download some custom to play different songs I didn't stick to it and I never was a part of SA community. And when I heard of RS 2014 I pre-ordered it blindly because I know the time i'll pass on this game will be worth the price. Not so long ago I've started to getting bored of the songs available and wanting to play some of my favorite band so I've started looking for SA and learn on reddit that it was going down and that CF existed. So I've started to used the tutorial to create my own custom before trying to participate in the forum. And I made it this time! I've finished the custom, published it, updated it and make another one and another one and starting to participate in the forum to help people to get their job done. then I started to go in the chat and from there I think I've lost it. I just can't stop being part of this amazing community and helping as much as I can. And I never stopped playing guitar, my usual 1 hour session is almost always streamed every day while discussing with people in the chat and trying new customs. I would have never think how good I could play guitar in only 3 years and can barely imagine how far I can go with the tools and the customs and the awesome people here. PS : i'm an asshole but if people know how to read and search i can help you as much as you want :D
  6. Good song and love Black Sabbath guitar part since they seems easy but they finally aren't. Lead 82% and 66 streak http://i.imgur.com/rBmnUvR.jpg Rhythm 93% and 103 streak http://i.imgur.com/0AeVSHB.jpg Bass 93.54% and 47 streak http://i.imgur.com/pieCkq3.jpg Not so bad for a first try i might even be able to get the lead and rhythm on score attack.
  7. A tremolo in music doesn't correspond to the "tremolo bar" name give to what is in fact a whammy bar if you want to name it correctly... The tremolo indication in EOF doesn't correspond in anyway to what actually do a tremolo bar on your guitar! And RS doesn't handle negative bend or any kind of effect lowering the pitch of the note but it does handle tremolo as in music notation which is simply the fact that you have to pick the note multiple times during the whole sustain.
  8. You can't because RS doesn't support tremolo bar or any kind of equivalent so it does not exist in EOF either as far as i know.
  9. On disc songs don't need to be there they are integrated in some other file. the p or m stands for PC or Mac, if you play on PC you only need the p.psarc if you play on mac you need the m.psarc. Steam just download both because it's easier for them.
  10. The p.psarc file is the song, you just have to put it in the dlc folder which is inside the rocksmith 2014 usual path (where you put the .dll). The appID of almost every single cdlc here are the cherub rock one so you shouldn't have to do anything about that.
  11. I would be glad if you can :D
  12. yeah... i got confused with the discussion leading to this fix : *Fixed a bug with GP import where the notes at the end of legato slides weren't removed as they should be. Anyway even with the actual logic the 1 slide 5 is misleading too. the slide from 15 to 1 is a legato slide so 1 shouldn't be here but it's forced to exist because of the following slide from 1 to 5 but that doesn't appear as a legato slide anymore... And i still have a problem with delayed slide (those from 5 to 7 and 7 to 10) that are imported as normal slide.
  13. How did they tested it? With a guitar with emulated bass activated? Or with a real bass? The custom tone never mess with recognition these are too different part of RS and one has no impact whatsoever on the other one. If the recognition doesn't work it could be that you didn't set it correctly in EOF and in the toolkit (if both are different RS doesn't recognize any note). A custom tone of bass shouldn't need any octave down pedal if you play with a bass. There's an automatic custom tone for emulated bass coming directly from RS that override any tone for the bass part while your on emulated bass, i've never tried to select another tone to see if it's possible but if the tester changes tone while on emulated bass with a tone that has no octave down pedal well the result is kind of obvious but it's not related to RS recgonition problem that he might have.
  14. There's multiple problem here from my point of view. I authored the tab so here's how i though it was supposed to appear on EOF : http://i.imgur.com/6OvXwcb.png You'll have to admit that the end result after import it's quite different from what i hope it should be like in the first place. Maybe it's me that do something wrong while creating the tab but still there's some problem during import that seems more of a bug like the Linknext status inexistant on legato slides.
  15. @@Wepeel : to quote your own link So did you go in court to verify that it's not really fair use? I don't want to be rude here, but claiming that this is not fair use and linking to a blog that say that fair use i not really define clearly so that unless you actually go in front of a court, you won't be able to say that something is fair use or not is bold. Rocksmith video can be view as a cover of a song so having the song on background is not a big problem but unless you go in front of a court you won't be able to say that it is or not legal... So youtube will be default take the side of the author but you have some possibilities to actually acknowledge the use of third party content and give them almost the full right over your video, from there you can't really go against the author will.
  16. Even for a good singer, one can be better (or more comfortable) with different pitch depending on what he needs to sing. using a lot of different pitch depending on what you're going to sing or even play can really change the way the songs feel (i'll never listen to dream on by aerosmith at A440). It's not always a singer need, but can be simply better for the song in itself like most orchestra like to play at A442 or 443 because it sounds better (and it does in some cases). There's so many reason to choose a different pitch than A440 than simply put it back to it just to ease yourself with tuning seems like heresy to me. ;) Anyway if you do a custom using a different pitch and you want to put it back to A440, do both please, so that everyone can choose what he wants to and not have to bear with one personal preference.
  17. My bad, I've just misunderstand how youtube handle ads over video... anyway youtube handle poorly copyright infringement and the option during video upload are not clear about the different way you can acknowledge the fact that you don't own anything and just place yourself under Fair Use.
  18. Or simply don't use monetization when you're using third party content especially in the case of custom. It's not legal to make money out of this educational content. Youtube can't control everything but they are especially going over monetized video since making money can become a big deal. I've seen many video using monetization like it's not a big deal but you really shouldn't monetize rocksmith video customs or not if you want it to be legal.
  19. That's already available take a look at the edit->selection menu you can make a lot of combination that allow you to do almost whatever you want in the selection part then just use the hotkey to make the selected note a pop or a slap.
  20. The error 404 is for non existing information, so if you're searching for something that does not exist it's absolutely normal to have a 404 error. I don't really see a problem here...
  21. I can assure that we aren't either but we still try :D
  22. in EOF you have to create section at different point of the songs, you need to select a beat ("-->" in EOF) then shift+ctrl+S.
  23. Did you try at 1% speed in RR to see if it's the game that can't recognize it or just you that can't get them at full speed? Those bend can be tricky to get correctly.
  24. I've updated Scream by In Flames for the same name crash.
