  2. Thanks for the advice Now I have an excuse to buy another guitar!! I really must use RR more often for lead and rhythm. I'm mainly a bass player and can play usually play most songs straight away on bass, but I get frustrated on guitar when i'm strumming as I cant do it quick enough with just downstrokes.

  6. Mastery playing there, @RaZ!!! I bow my head to that confidence hitting that fast notes on the solo - bravo! What a guitar also! I am generally not a 100% of bindings, but that white binding to contrast the dark part of the suburst, just 10/10 great. Love that guitar! Keep doing those, man! Its so motivational to see you fly through a song thats on the CS. I really hope i find to do some covering also again soon. Rock!! But i know you do.... Rod.

  7. Yeah. Right! That´s what i encountered also - RS trains your frethand way more than your strumming - as well in terms of rhythm as for the strumming technique. I am working on that also permanently because that is what makes your playing sound bad and lame. What does help me is grab the acoustic, choose a random key and play easy chord progressions but focus on the rhythm sound and strum routines. Play slowly! Rod.

  9. I'm still somewhat of a novice but what I'd like to add is that always moving the strumming up and down even when there are no actual strums and also counting out loud 1&2&3&4 or 1e&a2e&a3e&a4 will do wonders to the time feel and picking up new patterns more easily. Of course, starting slow at something like 60 BPM or even lower is always the way to go

  10. Improvement but it's still hard to sustain all the notes for each arp phrase - But I'll keep on doing it that way to learn the song properly

  12. I tried GoG but my hand was defeated by these stretches. You have to practice a lot to play like that Btw. Where is @ Bottledpat12 who suggested this song for the championship, I haven't seen you for a few weeks, you retired permanently because it was too easy here?
