Two question: Remove CDLC and is there a Limit?

Hello,

 

Does anyone have a guide or specific instructions on how to remove CDLC (not only from your dlc folder and toolkit, but from being displayed in the RS 2014 game itself?

 

Next, I read there was a limit on the number of CDLC you can have active in the game (60 to be exact).  Is this true?

Hi m8 i can answer your second question,60 cdlc's isn't the limit!Including the original track list&some official downloads i have 123 tracks in my listing!so i would say if there is a limit i hav'nt reached it yet lol :)

If there is a limit, it's higher than 600.

 

Also, if you remove CDLC from Your DLC folder inside of Rocksmith, it should be removing the song listing. 

I can't recall if any of the metadata is persistent though. ie: if you play a song, then remove the song, then put the song back, if it will 'remember' your original scores for that song.

if you remove a cdlc from your dlc folder it isn' t displayed anymore in the game song list, but if you put it back again then rs remembers the score you got ( as Mad_Duck said ).

About your second question.... my subfolder "customs" contains almost 200 songs, I don' t know if there is a limit

I have 880 files in DLC folder and some of them songs ain't showing up in game. For example Paramore - Crushcrushcrush is one that is not in the list, but if I delete all other songs, then it appears in game and is playable. Eaven when after I deleted loads of broken or unwanted song, it still did not appear in the game, so there must be some limitations.

I'm wonderin if adding more songs is messing up my saved file. In the past week it has started corrupting when I add new songs. I probably have over 200 total.

Files are loaded when they remain in subfolders of the dlc folder. I've made several subfolders, dislikes, favourites,etc which I put in and out of the dlc folder before starting RS.

 

And No, there is no limit, when songs don't appear in RS, it's for other reasons :

1. they share a same name or ID with another song

2. their file is corrupted, which may happen if the download did not complete
