I made a chart and everything worked except for the riff repeater. I found out it was because I converted the audio without setting the "seek table granularity" to 16384 from this topic: http://customsforge.com/topic/27445-issue-with-cdlc-riff-repeater/ However, after doing that my song suddenly starts freezing after getting past the tuner. I have tried changing the conversion settings to what I had before, and now even that doesn't work anymore. Anyone know what this could be?

Hey all, the CDLC I have downloaded aren't working for some reason, I'm able to go through and select the song then tune my guitar to it but after that i am stuck in a screen with the amps only and the purple lighting. My friend showed me how to get it all set up since he has it on his computer and it all works perfectly on his, but songs that he can play on his i can't play on mine. It's dissappointing me greatly since they were the reason i got the game so i can play songs that I enjoyed listening to but my game is only wanting to play the dlc that i bought and then the base songs it comes with someone please help me.

Hi Guys So i have a really frustrating problem i made a CDLC And when i put it in Rocksmith i hear the song so after i tune my bass the game freezes before guitar neck comes up so i made a new p.psarc file and I'ts the same , so i made it again from nothing i named it differently i added a preview audio etc and when i start it it freezes again i don't know what is happening cause all other DLC And CDLC's are working fine :( Some Help and tips would be appreciated Thx For reading

I've made a few custom dlc so far but all have had the same issue. Riff Repeater does not work, I have split the songs into sections as described by this tutorial: http://customsforge.com/topic/10520-creating-cdlc-tutorial-making-sections/ but when I go into the riff repeater and select one of those sections, nothing happens. The song does not play and the notes do not show up. Any ideas? Edit: I just want to say that the songs are fully functional when not using riff repeater.

I have been up for about 6 and a half hours now, watching countless videos on how to make my own custom dlc. It has been nothing but a huge waste of time. But, can someone instruct me on how to use EoF, Wwise, and RSTK? If not,can someone just do me a favor, and make me this one song, and all I ever ask of you.

hello everyone! I am trying to get cdlc songs for rocksmith on my xbox 360 and wondering if any one has managed to successfully do this. im not sure how to get the cdlc onto my usb drive so rocksmith will load it. any able to help me out with getting this to work?

This is my first CDLC (Koichi Korenaga - Let me Go, Let You Go) and I feel it still needs work. The tones at least need some help. The transcription isn't my own work. I received it as a Christmas gift. The work was done by Simon Revill. I personally think he did an awesome job. First I'd like to thank all of you for contributing to this community, CustomsForge has really improved my guitar skills and is a very polished site. A minor change I would make to the CDLC is including a logout option, since I notice it still keeps you logged in even if you log out of this forums part of the website. I'm rather compulsive about logging out of everything in my browser but again, it's probably not a big deal for most people and may not pose as a huge security risk. Another interesting feature would be updated track notifications. I have been receiving emails for comments made on each track, but it would be more helpful if I am notified of an important version change and for the creator to be aware if the link is broken. Okay so let me explain in detail about exactly what my situation is: I am in EoF, i have my chart all done. I want to use one tone only in my entire song. (i have taken one from the ace of spades). I go to 00:01 in the song and put a Tone Change there and i name it "X". Now since EoF requires at least two tones for that, i go to the end of the song and add a Tone Change named "Y". Now i will set "X" tone as default one. Save the project, and lets go to toolkit. I go add a bass arrangement. It comes out as "Bass [E Standard] (X,Y). Perfect. Everything seems fine. I fill out the rest of the slots and we're now at Tone part of the Toolkit. I click edit on "X". I select "Load Tone" and i import the Ace of Spades one. The Tone information get changed to the one from the tone so change it back to "X" because it has to be named the same as in EoF. I edit "Y" and i put just a random amp to it. Doesnt matter since i put it there just to get around EoF's system. I click generate. Tells me its Arrangement has been changed, i click yes. I copy over the CDLC, start the song up... Nothing. I see the speakers change to the same ones, no pop-up message saying "BASS" tone is in effect, effect is still default. Anyone knows what im doing wrong? EDIT: "X" and "Y" are just placeholders for easier reference in the text of wall. I actually have them properly named.

Hi and houra for the manufacturer of the Highway to Hell CDLC ! It's a great job including the tuning before playing with the son ! However, as I am still learner, and as its is noticed inthe CDLC library tab (DD column tagged), I expected to have smooth learning stages as I have in stock RS 2014 songs. Did I missed something in integration of this DLC in the game ? Thanks for your answers and may the rock be with you ! -
When I go to change the package id (for the CDLC) to the official dlc ID the song isn't on the list. What can I do? Please help. -

EDIT : I missed the part about adding a symlink since I have Rocksmith installed on a drive that isn't the boot drive. I can't try it right now but I'll bet that will fix it. Hi, I got my Rocksmith 2014 cable today (so I'm sorry for asking for help on my first post but I've not been here before), but I'm having trouble getting the CDLC working. I've followed stellarfirefly's guide on installing CDLC I've got D3DX9_42.dll in the Rocksmith 2014 folder I've bought the Cherub Rock official DLC The tracks that I've tried (the ones that come with the game) have worked fine. The CDLC tracks appear in the track list and I can hear them. When I select them it then goes to the guitar tuning screen and everything works as expected. But when the guitar's tuned and it goes to the next screen it just shows the background with the 2 amps. There's no song or any notes to play. So I then tried the Rocksmith2014_patcher.exe I didn't sign into Uplay as I wasn't sure it was safe, but it said it would still work but without online content so I assumed that wouldn't matter. I also had to start a new profile. Unfortunately this time the CDLC tracks didn't even appear in the track list. So I guess my questions are: 1) Do I need to use the patcher and sign into Uplay to get it to work? 2) If it doesn't work without the patcher, is the error I've got the same one that other people experienced? Is there a program yet to scan your CDLC and correct any files that kill the tone in RockSmith? every other day I play at least a song kills the tone. and with i dunno roughly 8,000 songs downloaded. (estimating over 2,000 loaded) it's kinda a pain to manually go through them and keep track of them. and then load them into the toolkit and repack them to try to fix them. So it's been awhile, I figure there could be a tool to do this, if not, is there a chance there could be one at one point? Thanks, -Dev

Is there an option in the patcher to use a song from the RS1 song selection to import CDLC? I don't have any other DLC and don't want to waste my time downloading things if it won't work. Sorry if this is a duplicate post but the search won't work and Google isn't showing any relevant results. -
Hi! Are there still custom songs for Rocksmith (2012)? Due to the steam sale I thought buying this game would be a great idea since Rocksmith 2014 is such a great game. I really like Rocksmith 1 too, but it would be awesome if there is also an opportunity to play custom songs. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, pretty new to Rocksmith and playing guitars. I just noticed on the CDLC area there really aren't many, almost any, psychobilly songs or artists. I'm not complaining, I can't even imagine how difficult or time consuming it is to create CDLC. I'm just trying to raise a little Psychobilly and Rockabilly awareness ;p I think there is a lot of potential for fun songs, what with artists like The Cramps, Reverend Horton Heat, The Brains, The Koffin Kats, Mad Sin, Nekromantix, The Creepshow, etc. Hopefully someone who can make my dreams come true sees this! Thanks for everything you guys do by the way!

Hi. I have always tried to make rocksmith custom songs but it always ends with tears, a couple viruses, and no more cdlc. I have tried watching videos but they always lead me to a dead end or require the purchase of some software like WWise that i cant get to work. The farthest i have ever gotten is a charted song in EOF before spending 2 hours trying to get some program to turn it into a rocksmith file. Why can i just put the file in some file converter? Anyway, I need some help, I'm starting to loose interest in guitar as a whole because all the rocksmith songs have become stale and i tabs just frustrate me. PLEASE HELP

I have noticed that if rocksmith releases a new song my cdl version becomes locked, how can I avoid this, it is annoying, I will work on a song and all of a sudden it is locked. Can I play offline ? -

I recently moved my steam account over to a new SSD and HDD with a new OS. The only thing i copied over was my DLC folder with other 1.5GB of song files in it. When i started up the game, i found out that none of my CDLC files work in the game- or atleast none of the 5 or so that i tested. They would all let me tune/capo/ whatever beforehand, and then the two amps would show up on the screen. After that, the game more or less "Freezes". I can still hear myself play if i make any noise, and the speakers are still animated and you can see the little rings that they make that are supposed to be sound waves (i guess). However, the track for the notes, the animated guitar neck, the song itself, etc., do not show up, and it is left on that forever (ive let it run for 15 minutes to see if anything would happen, so i assume itll just stay there forever.) I can play the rocksmith 2014 and original rocksmith songs just fine. I even tried to use the packer/unpacker to repack some of the cdlc, and after that, i even tried to redownload and repack some of the songs completely. None of this has worked, however. I had the exact same problem when i had the CDLC on my old HDD- but only for a song or two, which i had just assumed were broken or something. However, this seems to be affecting all of my CDLC files. Even the official DLC files are working just fine.

Hey guys I'm Matthew (Masheen) I finally with the help of a few guys Alex and Replicators got to where I can successfully put out CDLC's. I'm very experienced with writing music both guitar tabs and sheet music. So If any of you guys have any songs that may need editing, assuming I have access to the tabs, I should be able to get it accurate. So far I have made a few songs and here's the list. I thought I would start off with some death metal as there isn't alot but i'm open to anything. I will add to this list as I create more and more. Also if you know any psarcs that have exceptional tones I'll be glad to use them as well. Hi there, Need some help in figuring out some tabs. There are a couple of songs I like that do not have tabs posted. On U-G, 911 and Songsterr the songs shows tabs but people tabbed the intro and solo but that's it. The rest are just chords...Obviously it's not as easy as importing into guitar pro to tab it properly, or is it? For example, the intro is fully tabbed then they list the chords all the way to the solo, the solo is tabbed and then there some sort of pattern where the chords repeat themselves to the outro... How do I go about importing that into guitar pro to work with EOF? Any help would be appreciated. There are many examples listed out there, I really have no prefrence, I just want to learn how to do it. One example that comes to mind is Renegade by X-Ambassadors. Hope that gives you enough info for a response! Thanks all
