why is option 1 not reccomended for long use?

Hey @ Rodman , I think the rightfull winner for bass master class last week was @ It Happens1 as he got a higher score during the competition 99.46 i did manage to tie with him by replaying it now that i saw his score but this is a replay after you created this week, so it doesnt count.

a little bit offtopic...but since you guys are kind of active, anyone reccomend some songs that are on cf for valentines day? ig to make it relevant to this..will next week be valentines themed or is that too corny? happy either ways tbh

upbeaty song nice voices! Thought it might be a paramore situation where they had other songs less pop-y upbeat/ harmonies but nope seems like thats their style lol. cool to see some rammstein riff reminded me of an islands by chevelle Rodman Luzifers and razrshreds score had me struggling alot!! Nice to see a7x!! even if i havent liked anything theyve made past 2007 glad to know people listen to their newer stuff. i think this could be placed in a lower bass class. outro kind of took me off guard like lots others but i dont think its masterclass hard.

i reached my goal! tried it more times but got worse after this run so i think ill take a break hopefully ill catch up to either luz or avas later tbh im starting to dig this song the more i play it cause it has a couple of riffs that reminded me other songs like there s one near the middleish that is similar to beast of harlot by avenged sevenfold or death to all but metal by steel panther. basicly 0 3 5 6 riffs ...love songs with them. and then the arpegiated chord at the end reminded me of a song called tearing me up by bob moses but its played higher in that song. really cool cause i had forgotten about that song and always wanted to learn it

Not sure ill be able to get to luzifers score mikson cause im awful with bends but ill practice/ try to or atleast get 95% Tbh i think this one is more doable for me since theres less bends.

I barely managed, gj on the score mikson that was tough! I did notice on my SA playthrough the choked notes dont count for % if that helps anyone. The stone pilot one is a bit too much for me so congrats!

Thought Kings of Leon only had 3 good songs but this one was pretty good. This one was like a long solo/ filled with licks.It helped that I checked that it was in gmajor scale and practiced that scaleish before attempting the song although i still cant imagine 100ing it I think the bends is what kills me but then i miss alot of the single notes aswell for some reason. ..Guess Im out of practice For some reason the first notes reminded me of thomas the tank engine theme song ... Upon searching it on google apparently its a riff from billy preston nothing from nothing, which i like more as a song. Unfortunatley it seems like cf doesnt have any billy preston. seems like he had some good bass riffs

that took a while!! learnt if you act like you know how to play the solo it works better

@ Mikson i think maybe since its an old recording (probably tape) its detuned/ not in a standard note/ pitch inbetween notes? i know that happens with lemon tree by fools garden you have to pitch the whole song either up or down some cents to make a standard tuning instrument fit with the song...or tune the instrument midway but i think thatd be more of a pain. that or they didnt tune their guitarswhen recording it, kinda like theres a rhchp song where the only high e was off by some cents dont remember the name.. edit i imported the song to ableton and the pitch is indeed inbetween notes (30ish cents...) anyways just thought it was interesting.

hmm is the hameron/ pulloff part/ ig tappy part supposed to be the synth sounding lead? because if it is im pretty sure its playing other stuff rather than whats tabbed.. i slowed it down to practice but it doesnt reaally match to audio unless im just bad ayreon song

first tries: is it just me or is the whole cdlc in lead path off by a note? i think it should be played up 1 or itd be right with a capo... The only song ive heard from them is hotel california so its good to see their other catalogue the riff after the tappy part is challenging will practice more

i think thats as good as im gonna get it @ Mikson by fast parts do you mean the main riff in the intro or the very end part? if its the begining riff for me it was easier to use 3 fingers rather than barring it but maybe thats just preference? The octave jump could also technicly be played on same strings but 12 frets up..incase the strings moving was causing issues.. if its the end part thats causing you issues then idk cause thats where i goof up aswell haha mostly cause of the slide

always great to see some riverside! i used to play this song alot when i was a teen. took some repeats normal mode to get kinda close to it but theres still room for improvement This song is harder on bass lol. still fun

Even though the power chords are kind of hard to read in the E standard version i personally feel that lead requires more skill to nail because of the soloing/ fillers but maybe thats just me on a side note i had to create a new account and on the 4th attempt on the lead it went master mode on sections. i assume i should turn that off? because i havent gotten 95.7 yet technically its just that because of the master mode..and speaking of mastermode is there a mastermode challenge level? haha

This sounds like itd be fun in guitar. That being said I also dont think the bass path is masterclass.

all are first sight reads Sounds like a group i would listen to will check out their other stuff. never played the game but yea decent upbeat song the fills towards the end were cool no trivium because bass also doesnt reach that low yeaaa the difficulty gap from the advanced song to this is pretty big hahah. I'll give it some more tries today its nice to have a challenge... hopefully ill get a bit better.
