  1. You have to hit the "Spoiler" buttons to see the pics...
  2. You must add sections (which makes RR) or the camera will be zoomed out for the whole song. Also, I thought Nicolo would be the male version in Italian. Serena is certainly a girls name :D
  3. The sync is the most important part of any custom, you must learn how to do this. Please do not say it is difficult, everyone that has ever tried to make a custom knows its fkn difficult. Rule 1: all tabs are NOT PERFECT. Some tabs are SHIT. Rule 2: all tabs are NOT PERFECT. Some tabs are good but need fixed. Rule 3: all tabs are NOT PERFECT. Some tabs are almost perfect, but still need fixed.
  4. Sorry Fotek, I didn't realise you had already made cdlcs :( Yeah, post up a vid or some screens for peeps to have a look. It could be cause you are using a GP6 exprt to GP5, sometimes repeat bars (dunno the musical term) can get messed up and you end up with extra tabs. There are many ways to fix this, but no really quick method. Copy/paste/delete in EoF or GP5, whichever you are most comfortable with.
  5. Go into toolkit setting (the tabs at the top) and show it the path to your Wwise install. You only have to do this once.
  6. Download the hack and you can rank to master charter level 1000  There is no quick way to learn, it depends on the person learning. But you have played so many customs (great channel btw) that at least you will know what you like and what you want the chart to look like. So you do have an advantage over most people :D
  7. And the notes spread out because the timing changes. Try to import and say yes to "import time signatures from gp file". You sound like you are just starting out. It's your job, as a human, to put the notes in the right place with the music. That is the point of what you are doing. Its tricky at first, but you'll get there. Good luck :D
  8. @@Mediekore buy Cherub Rock and save yourself a tonne of hassle and time :D Smashing Pumpkins must fkn love this place
  9. I think that there should be a pause on implementation, at least until some views are in... I agree with firekorn, customs should reflect official songs as much as possible. And in fact, on viewing the screen, I think that that layout would hinder first time accurate play and be detrimental to the RS custom experience. Sorry @@Shinyditto12 :( Great idea and I don't think that would work for most players in game. High five to Plum for making a valid "that that" though
  10. I thought the chord names that appear in game (for customs) is completely to do with how EoF writes the XML? For example, is this not how and why the ignore tuning/capo function works; because RS is literally displaying what is written in the XML? And out of interest, my Gary Moore custom has a C#0 in it. Check out 1.34 in the play vid http://customsforge.com/topic/25066-cold-day-in-hell/ The 0 looks superscript to me.
  11. I would leave exclusivity on and set up Bandicam (or whatever you use) to be able to record with exclusivity on. It's called different things on different pcs, and can be called something else if you run an actual soundcard with its own drivers/software, but essentially you want to record the overall output mix of your sound device. By default Bandicam is set up to record the primary application that's running (BF4, CS:GO, Rocksmith, whatever), but you can change the settings to record the overall sound output (BF4 + Your mic + Windows beeps etc etc). Dig through the menus in Bandicam and change the audio it records to the one you require. For example, on my pc its called "What U Hear" because I use Creative X-Fi sound, but I've heard it called many different things. The most common sound devices are Realtek, and in this case its called "Stereo Mix". It's possible to do it the way you describe, and you would edit the .ini file in your Rocksmith folder to set latency manually. But I think its far more comfortable to play with exclusivity on using your normal latency settings. Your vids will end up better if you are comfortable and not worrying about crappy latency while playing :D
  12. Already got a question about 2-20-2016 Before handshape section is added https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyTlU4RGIxNlU0NVk/view?usp=sharing Select range, then apply handshape https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyM3dSQmhfQTB0ZE0/view?usp=sharing Questions: - Why does it set a (albeit ghost) E0? - Won't this E0 effect the handshape in the sense that the auto FHP will expect you to play the D1/D3 trill with fingers 2 and 4, where I would be expecting to play this with fingers 1 and 3? Thanks :D
  13. @@Alex360 - when I am updating tabs I always click on blank space (to deselect anything I had selected) before I move away from the area. Saves heaps of hassle and "oh crap did I just do something I can't see" moments
  14. Thanks for the fix. I was only making suggestions because I thought the problem was how I described it. But an easy fix is much better :D I did have the same message in another song (the Gary Moore one), but the arpeggios did actually go over to a new phrase, so I figured it was working
  15. I thought that too i.e. the notes were slightly off grid when I marked the arpeggio, then when I re-snapped the notes before saving the arpeggio phrase ended up a few milliseconds before the phrase change and (freshly snapped) first note. I had a play about then and the re-mark arpeggio function is pretty redundant e.g. - I selected the first offending arpeggio range (the one in the pic) - I used the remark button combo (Ctrl+Shift+G) and saved (notes were pre-snapped, I did it straight after loading the project) - same problem - I manually erased arpeggio phrase and re-mark - When I saved it let that one go and went to the next offense Conclusion - arpeggio phrase (green area) is slightly before new phrase. Could be as a result of adding arpeggio to unsnapped notes which are slightly before new phrases or as a result of copy/pasting entire pre-arpeggiated parts from Guitar_22 Recommendation - improve re-mark function. I'd love it, actually, if the re-mark function could be used to re-mark in batch? i.e. do a Ctrl+A for the whole arrangement, then hit re-mark. Re-mark would only re-mark existing arpeggio phrases, not mark the entire arrangement as 1 single arpeggio. Also, remove the keyboard shortcut from re-mark as its the same as mark in the first place and the 2 should be separate. Anyway, here are the files https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyeXZOVEZYWDRCa28/view?usp=sharing I fixed phrase "3" so far, but it picks up phrase "4" (and probably others) for the same offence. Thanks for any help, I'm off to manually remark these now. And I'm probably totally wrong again :D
  16. Hi, EoF 2-15-2016 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyVnNkV0hZaWZVLW8/view?usp=sharing Don't understand. Everything got resnapped before saving and its working on an old project that had no trouble when I made it with previous EoF (can't mind which exact one tbh). Thanks :D
  17. I was going to edit my post to put an example, but you already replied. The example I wanted to type is because of capital letters "The Rolling Stones" "Rolling Stones" "ROLLING STONES" "THE ROLLING STONES" "rolling stones" "the rolling stones" Will all be in different parts of your in game song list (if you order by band name). They will be there, but you need to look for them. The toolkit has separate field for "order by", different from the Band Name field. Good luck :D
  18. 1. Are you sure you typed in the information correctly, with correct capitals on the song/band name - they may be in your list, but just not where you expect them. CAPITAL letters order differently to lower case letters. 2. Did you use correct song id - normally people use Cherub Rock 3. As well as unique DLCName you also need unique arrangement IDs. When you hit "Generate" and toolkit says "Some info has changed... do you want me to change IDs?" then you hit "YES". There are some tricks to make the toolkit do this without changing anything - one trick is to open the toolkit save, click on a tone, change the volume up one click, then back down one click (you changed nothing but the toolkit thinks you did) and hit generate again. Select "YES" when the toolkit warns you about IDs 4. You need to make sure you don't have 2 of the same cdlc in your DLC folder. Maybe you make V1, then change something and make V2. If you have V1 and V2 in DLC folder it can cause problems.
  19. You are using the same DLCName in the toolkit for all customs? DLCName is the box top left in toolkit. This should be pretty difficult with newest toolkit, but it is possible if you are using an older toolkit. Open up toolkit and give all your cdlc a unique name when you make them again. e.g. "BandSongPlumV1"
  20. I did this the other day, drove me demented trying to figure it out  In preferences (Edit Menu), top left, 4 down "Hide Info Panel". Untick it.
  21. Load package is for loading up previous toolkit saves which you have made. Import package is for importing entire .psarc files.
  22. Seeing as you typed it all out and your name is hilarious, try to post a screen pic - I dunno what you mean Red Pick. Also, its possible you put .dll in wrong place. And you must own Cherub Rock official dlc by Smashing Pumpkins.
  23. He can't even capitalise the title of his post, I'm not surprised he can't work out how to get customs working on his own... And Kudos to people (especially firekorn) for still replying to these, I think I'd be extremely sarcastic by now
  24. Sorry :( I thought it could now add sections too. I never used it :( I would say that I've never had to but Berneer used it on my Bruce Dickinson custom and said he found the results positive (for adding DD post use). I would put that custom down to not having learned the resnap function by then, and some notes were milliseconds off the new sections. Thats my excuse anyway
