  1. Wwise Build 4828 doesn't appear to be available anymore. The oldest one listed for download is 4856.

  4. AS it turns out, I did not. I didn't do well enough on it to bother reposting (grrrr...)
  5. Didn't do so well this week. I think they forgot to put the 14th fret on my bass, cuzz I sure couldn't find it this go around! Begiiner Bass: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/7740/leql16n2syqjddyzg.jpg
  6. I'm still gearing up to start <learn> the process, so it may give me a bit of experience. If it helps out, I might be game!
  7. Everybody knows that "RTFM" is ONLY a last resort option!
  8. Did you find enough people to help with your charts, in the end?
  9. Once again, not much time this week, so... http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/8d52/1plz74kg0x8q4a1zg.jpg
  10. That all still works. If you open the song info pane, and click on the charter's name, you get a list of all of their uploaded customs. If you click on the artist name, you get all of the customs by that artist. Same with the album name. Everything in the song info pane that you can click on turns green when you hover over it with your mouse. You also get the mouseover text that tells you what clicking on that link does. That is almost like doing a search to do a search. It can be difficult to search for all songs by a specific artist. The old system had an option to pull up a sorted list of artists to browse for selections, making it easy to find all the different ways one artist might be entered into the database (look at B.B. King, for example). It also made it easy to find stuff you might have forgotten about... "Oh yeah, I remember them, I gotta get that one!"
  11. A rubber band and a pencil works in a pinch... Edit --------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE TO SELF: Read the rest of the forum BEFORE hitting the REPLY button!
  12. Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! A real 100 is worth much more than a MM upleveled one!! Many may not like this, but how about adding a new "Purist" class that is Master mode only, 'x' points for MM-ing the beginner song, 'y' points for MM-ing the intermediate song, etc...
  13. Not much time this week, but I got a few licks in: Bass - Gimme Sympathy http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/e0e4/onak4f8k6292ivnzg.jpg
  14. No time for me this past week... maybe none this coming week either, as my pc's are in pieces pending my overhaul of the office/studio/man-cave.
  15. No time again this week, here's my best shot as it turns out... http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/0341/wvbyu8gb5h25jjczg.jpg
  16. Great Pink Floyd selection. I just wish Plum hadn't embedded the DD versions in the bonus tracks. Is there an easy way to strip out bonus tracks so I can repack to have both a DD and a No-DD version?
  17. Not much time this week, so here's my feeble attempt for beginner bass: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/1529/spvqnj2et3eccdpzg.jpg
  18. Almost same age. I am 53 in a few days and I just started playing bass 5 weeks ago. I've played drums professionally for over 17 years (started with 14), but after an accident i could not use my right leg as usal and it started to hurt after less than 30minutes of playing, so I had to quit. Was really frustraiting for me. After all the years I thought, why not play any other instrument and so I started with the bass. You're right, learning is quite much harder in our age, but I spend almost 2 hours a day for practice and it works better and better and my target is to play in a band again - maybe not as a professional (almost too old for this), but in a cover band to do some gigs a year and some jam sessions. Ha! Gotcha both beat. Turned 58 last year, decided to try Rocksmith to learn guitar and having a blast ever since. Maybe we can start a Geriatric Forum?
  19. Very late answer, but: It is not obvious how many levels the DDC created. You can enable "Generate Log" and look at the logfile to find out how many difficulty levels each arrangement has... but lots of people don't know / do that. "1" is the default value for the number of levels, so I'd say in all those cases charters didn't know or cared about how many levels they actually had. And to be honest, before DDC, when people created levels manualy, this field might have been useful, but with DDC it is just not important anymore... Ah, alrighty then! That makes sense (as most things do looking back on them). Maybe I should drop a suggestion to change the default to a "Y" or "N" (based on the value for the DDC field) rather than a number and give the contributing author the option to change it to the appropriate number of levels. It would be less confusing to noobs like me (especially the OCD ones).
  20. As usual, I pretty much like the selections for this week and look forward to the challenge of learning some things that are new. However, while downloading, I noticed that one of the charters indicates that DD is enabled but with only 1 dynamic difficulty level. I have noticed this on other downloads from time to time as well. I don't understand how you can have dynamic difficulty with only 1 level. How does that work?
  21. Yeah, I know... Maybe I'll have a better shot at intermediate when I can ace the beginner song in less than 20 tries at it.
  22. When I find a song or songs to download from the search/ignition, how do I go about thanking the charter for their efforts? The record page says I can't change it, and I don't see a "Thanks" button on it anywhere...
  23. This week's go: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/b659/s96ye2gahgk9on2zg.jpg
  24. Must have been insipient transurgency! (that's old engineer-speak for: "I got no friggin clue")
  25. Actually, I was looking for an easy way to thank the charter for his/her work. The record page does not give me that option, at least not that I can find.
