  1. I wanted to report my findings about this issue. Thank you all for the replies; I believe I have determined the issue. The track I was using contained an erroneous punctuation mark (a '?', to be exact), which caused confusion when EoF was reading the file. Consequently, the .ogg file for the original track was named "guitar.ogg" and a preview could not be created. So the fix is to simply change the metadata within the original track to remove the '?'.
  2. I've never encountered this issue, but on the current song I'm making in EoF, I'm unable to create a preview. It brings up the option to encode in whichever bitrate, but after selecting a bitrate, it does nothing. There is no file that was created in the folder as well. I have tried creating a preview on another song, and that preview is created just fine.
  3. I believe this is your issue. I have experienced similar problems, and the solution was to use an actual bass. Very frustrating for those of us who don't always have their bass on hand to test tones.
  4. Well there was my problem. I haven't updated EoF in quite some time, and apparently I needed to update the latest build.
  5. As far as I can tell, that option is already disabled. The option to save as a separate Rocksmith 1 file is disabled, as is the option to export chord techniques from Rocksmith 1. Is there a further option I need to disable?
  6. I'm working on a song that features double stops above the 19th fret (at the 21st and 24th fret). EoF doesn't like assigning fret hand positions above the 19th, so what is the workaround to insure proper fret positioning?
  7. I just saw this thread, so I apologize if you've been working on this song. I have updated A Certain Romance with Bass, Vocals, and Lead (re-tabbed). http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/a-certain-romance-mg23s-version-r9641
  8. I figured it out - I was not applying the appropriate amount of sustain to each note. Thank you!
  9. I have tried the Note>Tremolo>Mark, but with no success. The notes are definitely marked and present with the three slashes on the first note, but the tremolo graphic in-game does not appear. When selecting the notes, do I select multiple notes that are to be played with tremolo picking, or select a single note and somehow dictate the length? Also, do I need to adjust any parameters with the track difficulty?
  10. Can anyone tell me how to add tremolo picking over a specified note region? I'm looking for the same visualization of tremolo as shown in something like Knights of Cydonia.
