  1. Because that is how you're supposed to start it. Glad you got it sorted.
  2. a new .dll file is needed after re-mastered, please make sure you are using the correct one.
  3. you don't need the patcher for PC, the .dll file is all you need.
  4. Which scanner did you submit it to - and what did it report it was infected with? Was it the stable version or the beta?
  5. Steam sale starts in 3 weeks - you need to buy the game. No support for pirated copies will be given here.
  6. @@Fattyshow - my posts above will give you exactly what you were originally asking for, assuming you still have some interest in it.
  7. I really have no idea. All I did was set all of the interface I didn't want to see to black, OBS uses luma key to make it transparent - the camera is recorded live "below" the RS interface. I have no idea how you'd link the active song to a preset video - or have it set to be the right time...... but in theory, if you could tell it to "play Prince - While My Guitar Gently Weeps.avi via VLC" it could be made to work. My knowledge ends at removing the loft and amps. files modified for this; https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvYwHVKnDAP7jekwDmwM8AqjlIQAaA Turn off venue mode and replace the files on your system with the ones above to get the black loft effect (note the loft psarc is in a different folder).
  8. tangentially related; http://customsforge.com/topic/21063-greenscreen-background/?do=findComment&comment=254263
  9. I decided to give this another crack recently. Loft, Gears and Static .psarc files were modded to give this effect. Audio out of sync due to OBS being randomly stupid - can't find how/where to get rid of the speaker effects "sound waves" - but this was recorded using OBS / camera live in Luma key setting with black as the opacity. - If using Luma key (like Chroma key but works with a black background) everything you see as black will be transparent. This was done so the game would still be playable to the person playing, but will also give a nice luma key base for changing the background. Short version, it works. Now If I could just get rid of the damned sound waves.......
  10. 2 likely causes for this, you don't own Cherub Rock, or you are using a .dll file from before the remastered update in October. Make sure you are using the correct, current .dll file. http://customsforge.com/topic/33138-rocksmith-remastered-cdlc-fix/
  11. http://customsforge.com/forum/81-customsforge-song-manager/
  12. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5fkdnos4992don9/D3DX9_42.zip?dl=0 you'll need to unzip the file before placing it in your rocksmith folder
  13. If there wasn't one to replace, that just means you wer enot using CDLC before October last year - don't stress. If you have the current and correct .dll in the folder and own cherub rock - go play some cdlc, that's all you have to do (assuming you've put the cdlc files into your dlc folder.
  14. Probably :-) However, as for the comemnts not showing up - that's likely just the same bug several of us (myself included) see constantly. Sadly we haven't managed to nail down it's cause. We are hoping that with a forum version upgrade cmoing soon that this is one of the issues that'll be squashed. For now, your best bet is write your response, then leave it for a few minutes (until you see the "Last auto saved:" information showing up below the response box), before submitting the post.
  15. Check for an alternate bass path on that track. A few charters have put non DD in the main bass chart and DD on the Alt / Bonus bass only.
  16. That's a new one to me. I imagine the members of the CRC are more likely to be able to help you fix that bug than I am. Are you saying the RR itself is only activating on the first few seconds, or that you can't select more of the song (remastered changed the keyboard bindings for the keys that alter sections in RR and the way sections are handled in RR as well) - or that your CDLC files only allow the first few seconds to be selected?
  17. @@avdocatwork - if you are trying to use CFSM to fix the mastery bug in your customs - it'll only work for the PC versions. The quickest way to generate "working" files for the other platforms is probably letting CFSM run on the PC files, then batch converting those files to other formats using the toolkit. FYI - non-dd arrangements will generally have the zero playcount bug on them. Everyone has their own view on this - but I'd recommend only putting out DD enabled files (certainly for the publicly released CDLC) - so they have as few bugs as possible in them. With the "over-ride to max" option that came with remastered, there is less of a reason to spend the time with non-dd .psarcs now. As for Ignition being screwed up for a few days - Sorry about that. Nothing was lost, it appears to have been a weird DNS based problem. It was still working perfectly for some users and intermittently for others. The sooner we can get rid of Ignition as it stands now, the happier I'll be too.
  18. If the user name is "CustomsForge" then that is the staff adding into the DB a song that is official UbiSoft content. You are directed to TRR so you can see the videos of the oDLC and follow the links there to steam etc to buy it. You won't find these songs as CDLC.
  19. No-one has been banned from steam for using CDLC. Mentioning CDLC (or posting screenshots) on a Rocksmith Steam Group may get you banned from that group - but you'll still be able to play the game.
  20. Goto your playlists (hit alt), make sure you are on the "all" setlist.
  21. Please use the report function of the site to tell the admins about any links like this.
  22. is the value saved in the RocksmithToolkitLib.Config.xml file
  23. I've had no issues making packages with the 68021 build in this folder - https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvYwHVKnDAP7jYZGI6dDPe4ybhvgpg - but older builds are also in there should they be more helpful. In case it helps, the WWise path it has saved is - C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise v2015.1.6 build
  24. To answer the questions previously (FYI - it's not butting in with an opinion when answering a question), we have the technical ability to monitor PM's, but we don't actively do so. PM's are passively monitored by the server and we are alerted to any keywords they contain - generally to do with piracy. If you want a truly "private" conversation from the admins of the web site you are using, good luck. No such thing exists anywhere on the internet. What I would suggest however, is if you want to have a discussion, without any staff from CF being able to see it (even theoretically) at all - start your own invite only discord server. It's arguably a better medium for general chit chat anyway. As for why we popped up here in the first place, like every member we can see from the forum list what threads have recently had activity. Sometimes we actually click on them to see if there is anything interesting going on. I saw a post that didn't make sense to me - so responded to it. @ - I totally agree, a genre sort / filter is desperately needed. I've asked for it many times - but shoehorning functionality into something with limited dev time isn't always the easiest thing to do - hence we suggested using the tags as a way to get a similar function, even if it wasn't with the same neatness we'd ideally want.
  25. Not sure what you are meaning, the only public display of FUSE shows a "like" counter (named votes presently) and has the option to subscribe to a user to get notified of any new releases. Both tools included with the intent of making it easier to find work by charters you (or other users) think produce quality work. The charters name is still there, if you want it to be, just as it's always been in the search results.
