  1. Try redownloading it and/or using the Toolkit to reapply the App ID. That usually fixes issues with individual songs not showing up in the game.
  2. This is what you're looking for: http://customsforge.com/topic/10411-rocksmith-to-guitar-pro-exporter-v098-released-now-with-mac-support-and-gui/
  3. House of the Rising Son should have been imported. Double check to make sure you don't actually have it. I have it on my list. As for the Eric Clapton and Cream song, there's no way to get them into RS2014. The licenses weren't renewed or extended for RS2014, and since they are official songs nobody can make a cDLC version.
  4. hmm i thought is this it did. But i definitely downloaded the DD version. But I had to convert the PC DD version to a Mac compatible copy. Could the conversion have messed it up? Not likely, so long as you're using the latest version of the toolkit. Double check that you downloaded the DD versions. For the Imagon Dragon songs, the links are under the "Release notes" section of the respective pages.
  5. Did you actually download the DD versions of those songs? The two Imagine Dragons songs have separate download links for the DD versions. "Is This It" doesn't have DD according to the info on the page.
  6. Why not just run it with Mono? It works absolutely fine with Mono 3.4 and doesn't take up 1+ GB of space. It also sounds like you had a harder time getting it to work with Wine than you would have with Mono.
  7. You do not need the disc import tool for RS1 DLC. It's is ONLY for the on-disc RS1 songs. That's why it's called the "Disc Import Tool".
  8. That's only for the on-disc RS1 songs. It has nothing to do with DLC.
  9. I feel for your Brooklyn. I had a sinus infection a few years ago and had a headache for three weeks straight. Every morning when I woke up it felt like I had been hit in the face with a shovel. I'm glad you're feeling better, and I'm stoked to see what you post in the coming days. :)
  10. Thanks for the head up on the other tracks, the only problem with some of them is there's no tabs that i can find so far. I'll be happy to do them when i find good tabs for them. :) A few songs on this list have never officially been released (Here I Am, I Always Am and Glad for instance) and most of them are covers. Dearest is a Buddy Holly Cover and Wicked Messenger is a Bob Dylan cover. Both are fairly traditional covers, so tabs might be able to be found and adapted to the BK versions. If You Ever Slip is one of my favourite non-album BK songs, but there aren't any tabs for it unfortunately.
  11. I would suggest getting an ABY switch (like Longstreet also suggested), instead of a cheap splitter. It will eliminate the sound degradation and feedback problems. I use a Radial Bigshot ABY (made in Canada) but there are lots of different brands/models available out there. It will also give you some added functionality outside of Rocksmith as you can have 2 guitars go to the same pedalboard/amp, or 1 guitar to two pedalboards/amps.
  12. I doubt it. They're all packaged inside a single file. However, you can use the sorting options to group them better. Try sorting by "Source" or by "Owned".
  13. Steam downloads DLC for both platforms. Just check your dlc folder and make sure that it's there. If it was the Queen DLC it will be in a file called "rs1compatibilitydlc_m.psarc". Just to clarify, are you running both RS1 and RS2014 on your Mac? If not, the dlc you bought may only have been downloaded onto the computer that has RS1 installed, since Steam thinks it can only work with RS1. I only ask because of one of your comments above.
  14. I use a Mac as well. Try checking the input levels inside System Preferences. If you don't know how, open System Preferences, then go to "Sound", click on "Input" and then click on the "Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter". I have mine set at 50%, which I think is just above the default setting. If everything is set properly (which it sounds like it is) then it could be your intonation or you could be bending while fretting and/or pressing down too hard.
  15. Any notes in particular that are repeatedly failing to register? It could be your intonation, or you could just be bending the string slightly when you're fretting it. Or, if you using an alternate tuning (D Standard for example) and don't have thick enough strings it could just be that your strings are too floppy. Just wanted to add as well, it could be your gain settings in the game or in Windows. Try calibrating your guitar inside the game (go to the tuner and hit "enter") or try adjusting the gain settings from the in-game options menu. You can also raise the level for the real tone cable in Windows.
  16. You just need one official DLC. Did you put the DLL file in the correct place? Read through this tutorial: http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/ That should help you figure it out.
  17. That's weird because EB Games (owned by Gamestop) sells them here in Canada for $29.99. Amazon.ca sells them as well for the same price. I bought my spare cable on Kijiji, which is like Craigslist, for $10.
  18. Hmm yeah it worked when I downgraded mono to the version you mentioned, thats odd! Thanks!! It did take a SUPER long time to open though, with the guitar icon bouncing up and down for a while. Did you experience this? Yeah, that's normal for the first time you open it. It should open quicker every time afterwards.
  19. I'm running the latest version (released yesterday), 2.6.1.0-1d45d6373
  20. I posted this in the other toolkit thread, but I'll post it here as well. I'm using version 3.4.0 of Mono, so maybe try uninstalling and using that one. Just make sure you get the MRE package, and not the MDK package. You can find all of the different versions here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mono.mirror/files/
  21. If it helps, I'm running 3.4.0 and it works fine. And make sure you've downloaded the correct version. You need the MRE package, not the MDK package.
  22. Use the toolkit from here to convert them. You can find the toolkit here: http://www.rscustom.net/builds
  23. Yeah, some charters really crank up the volume on the tones. The official songs are made to match the music more equally, because it's meant as a learning game. They want you to still be able to hear the guitar track as you play so that you can play along with it and hear how it's supposed to sound. For those of us who would rather hear our own playing a little more, they put the mixer in to allow adjustments.
  24. Although that solution isn't horrible, it's still not the most efficient way to go about finding out who made something. Charters should just put their user name into the filename. That way all you have to look at is the file itself. I'd rather do that than have to play the game or convert each file to a GP tab just to find out who made it.
