If you got a new television it might have a option in the video settings called game mode. It turns off some features that cause lag and when I switch it to that the lag is gone.

MadMaxx I don't know if it makes a difference but I always manually add the phrase and then go and do the section seperately I never add phrase and check the add a section box. I started out just checking that box but then I kept having errors with the dd not working. So I do them separate now. Something to try atleast.

The only reason I would use the notes from 2012 version is if it was done from a tab and not a guitar pro. If it was from a tab and well done then it would save a huge amount of time. Then you could just add in the new stuff from 2014.

making this and the tuning it was charted in said open c the bass is finished and is just in e standard.

Could someone tell me the tuning for open C in eof something didnt transfer right or the guitar pro was wrong and its not right in game so now im trying to figure out what the settings in eof should be for that tuning.

1 and im looking to buy another right now but im lefty so my selection is limited :(

Thanks for pointing out that thing about the crazy note on chords I have noticed those long sustains to the next chord before and will try this out next time I have song like that.

The reason I do pc and 360 is I obviously can test the pc version and enough ppl try the 360 version and like it that im confident it works without testing it. Mac and ps3 are very rarely requested and so I never do those unless someone asks plus like cstewart says it can take along time for someone to actually say something if somethings not working for those. In all my customs only 2 people asked for a mac version and nobody has ever asked for a ps3 version.

I usually try to do the song so that an update will not be needed but sometimes a 2nd pair of eyes sees things mine doesn't. If someone is doing tons of updates and they are new to making customs I can kinda see that since things are confusing at first but I don't like it when people are in such a rush to release a song that they just put out 1 arrangement and add parts in each update. There shouldnt be a rush to intentionally release incomplete that should be put in the workshop.

LaceyB I agree with you about the exporting it would be nice because I have lost count of the guitar pro files that were close but needed a few adjustments and so they are only really close to perfect in rocksmith it would be great to easily pop out a guitar pro 5 file with the corrections. As far as the fretlight guitar im confused as to why have that work in sync with the rocksmith game. Isnt the purpose of the fretlight guitar to show you the notes you play in order to play a song? Wouldnt it defeat the purpose of rocksmith showing the notes if the guitar shows it or vice versa? Or is this so you can play the songs on the fretlight when not connected to rocksmith?

I hope you still do in the presence of enemies that would be epic although im sure it will be a pain its so long!

I always do pc and 360 that way if someone has mac or ps3 they can easily just open the toolkit and convert it with just a click.

Do you have some kind of reserve incase you dont get as many donations in the future as you are currently? I have no clue how much you are taking in but it looks like a ton of money being spent nonstop on the site upgrades. I'm poor and don't donate with money just with customs so I really have no reason to have an opinion on it but it would be good to have a small emergency stash incase some of the more generous people disappear right?

Yeah im not sure why its not I mean they have tremolo in it so it should have been included in the game oh well I just used close together hammer on pull offs but it woulda been nicer in your case im sure to have that instead of doing a ton of those.

This blew my mind but I looked in the this section of eof that say manual and it describes everything in eof and each items function. Under trill it says only supported in rockband 3. :blink:

I noticed a song I am doing says to trill. or in the tab it says 5tr6. I see its in eof but is that for rocksmith or is a feature for rockband? If it is in rocksmith does anyone know how that would be charted in eof correctly?

Do you have the most current toolkit and eof? Sorry I am not much help but I have never had that issue when making a custom.
