  1. it's not related to dropbox but still a handy tip.. looks like they are using googe drive here.
  2. get this error for all your google links... http://i.imgur.com/vmvIONj.jpg Also.. to add images inline here the image url must end with .jpg
  3. Often this is the result of feedback for issues that had gone unnoticed at the time it was published. Also when people first start out mistakes are made more often than those that have been publishing for a while. You can tag favorite artists usingnthe star system and also follow certain posts to get notifications of updates. Overall I'm just happy there are people that give feedback to make improvements. Its far too uncommon around here. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  5. That's a pretty cool sounding song dude... I just did a search and pulled this GP5 file down it sounds like it could be ok but I'm not familiar with the band so can't be sure.. also not sure if it's one you've seen before and ruled out or not.
  6. More recently this is how I've gone about the process... Fire up GP6 with a blank slateCreate charts from PDF or tabs (Used to use GP files from UG and Songsterr but they are usually bad / inaccurate / incomplete)If I have it I export FLAC from audacity to OGG, otherwise just load mp3 direct into EoFGet beat map via Sonic Visualiser, (often trying various channel / onset detection settings until it's right)Launch EoF and load OGG and SVLImport GP5 file that I exported from GP6, (if a GPX file has double dot notation I import to tuxguitar and save as GP5 as it substitutes double dot better than GP6 export due to GP5 not supporting double dots)listen through on slow playback for all charts, make minor adjustments to measures to fine tune the sync, edit sections and phrases / arrangement type, frethand positions and chord fingerings.insert beats to generate silence at start and reset offset to zero without inserting measures while ensuring measure begining and end points remain in correct place, if they move I undo and repeat the beat insert with a different number until the measure start and end don't movesearch USDB for lyrics, if found adjust delay to sync with track, if not google and compare lyrics to song playthrough, fix lyrics if necessary and then use ultrastar creator to tap it out)import lyric filesave EoF projectIf FLAC source I will note the delay I've added then add same delay to audacity and export to WAVload WAV into WWise , max out quality and convertrename filesGenerate DD using time signature of GP file for phrase lengthload it all into RST with some base tones and generate a filefire up Rocksmith and test bass chart and send link to friend to test guitar chartsadjust volumes / tones based on feedback and preferencesPublish to databaselike all the feedback and thankscheck for any reported issueswonder why only 8 people out of 300 have said anything and wonder if I should bother with this any morereturn to 1st step and repeat
  7. Gold.. pure gold! and a fairly accurate roundup of the reality TomSawyer2112 Don't forget the people that only ever give feedback when something is bad or they don't like the way you've done something that 100 other people actually do like.
  8. I just had a go at all three bass charts for this week... no learn a song.. just 1st attempt in hard score attack for all... Beginner bass http://i.imgur.com/F4TK9B8.jpg Intermediate Bass This was just a mega fail... I've deleted it now as I'll never play it again. Masterclass bass http://i.imgur.com/8NwZLMy.jpg Will see if i have time to try and make improvement over the week
  9. If this were Implemented I imagine there would be a need to restrict to the 25 main genres or you'd end up with songs being categorized by a crazy number of sub genres and it'd just be insane Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

  23. Hi, Just wondering if you might consider adding GPX for the import option in EoF I have been working on some songs that have double dotted rests and notes but when exporting from GP6 to GP5 format I loose the double dots which throws things out of sync here and there when I import the file into EoF. Or can anyone offer a workaround that I can use to substitute the double dots within GP6 so everything is in the right place when exported to GP5 format?
