  1. Work in progress - Lead and Rhythm parts Working on getting the custom tones ironed out. Signed with Cherub Rock Would appreciate any feedback, thanks! https://mega.co.nz/#!Y1hAEKLI!uvEcvbpEe1UhwjTWhhnXutVgTVVj6frj8x8HOph8pEs
  2. The lowest I play is probably Drop C# and my favorite string is the DR 11-50s, works from Standard all the way down there without getting sloppy or being too hard to bend even and standard tuning. Would recommend.
  3. Appreciate the reply but you've confirmed my fears regarding pop-up events. There is a lyric track and luckily the scratch is in the transitional bridge where there aren't any lyrics at that point in time. I'll try the lyric track to see what I can come up with.
  4. Thanks for the pointer, and that's a good option, I'd like to include something - is there a way using events to let the player know there's a pick slide? I suppose I could add a lyric, but that seems cheesy.
  5. The trouble with this would be that the game would have a very difficult time with note recognition here, which would cause the player to "miss" all of those descending notes as far as RS is concerned. Even if the pick slide is actually played correctly.I'd say you'd be better off charting it as a fretted, muted note. Then author a slide down to the desired fret. For example chart a note on the 20th fret (or wherever you think the pick slide should start) and hit SHIFT+X with that note selected. Then hit CTRL+down arrow, and then enter where you'd like the slide to stop. This way, RS isn't going to be looking for any specific note from the player, just any noise whatsoever. Make sense? This makes sense, but the pick slide in question would be on the open "E" string, the slide (if played correctly) starts in between the pickups and goes down the neck a bit. So if I chart a muted slide in the upper frets won't it require the player to fret that note?
  6. Does anyone know how to do a pick slide in EoF? Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s83d6JlnyY#t=33 Thanks!
  7. Currently working on the titled - here's the file: REMOVED Signed Cherub Rock, PC Anyone want to test it out? I'm still working on a tone and a few cleanups (and a bass track) but Lead and Rhythm are done. Thanks! ---------------------- Didn't get any feedback, but I put up Release Candidate 1: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/the-sound-of-truth-r6884
  8. Are there written instructions for getting 2014 set up for CDLC on PC? The OP was a little lacking in the "clarity" department and I'm not a huge fan of video tutorials. All I see for the setup in the OP is "put file [x] in directory [y]" but after watching the video I'm getting information about DLLs and .exe patchers. Then there's also something about changing the APPID as well. Anything with updated download links would be great, thanks!
