  1. Bryan Adams run to you? Nah the link is fine, some other people use zippy share but its not the best site. I had an extension which blocked cookies so when I clicked download it sent me to an ad and didn't download the file. Just make sure cookies are enabled and you should be able to download it (don't need to disable adblock either). If you still can't manage to get the file I could send it to you.
  2. I think that the rating system is a good idea (i'll give most of mine a 3 lol) but wouldn't it make more sense for the charter to rate their songs in the toolkit instead of having to open the song manager, but that's just a bit of a nitpick great work my dude.
  3. Well I put in my birthday 12 days early, rip.

  4. Just a few things I've found out from doing this using clone hero charts You can't directly import the .chart files into eof you need to convert them to midi using moonscraper since the program for converting scorehero charts doesn't work with open notes. Also List of clone hero setlists, Clone hero chart search engine Most songs don't have multi tracks except from the official songs though.
  5. For anime songs you can usual just search for the show name and the songs will come up since the album name is usually (Anime name) OST or something similar, if not just search for the band or the song name itself. Also if it says "tv size" then it's just the short version. If you can't find a song you like see if there's a tab and you could try making it yourself (it's not too hard) For a guitar any electric should work but the output should be loud enough for the game to hear clearly, so I'd recommend one with humbucker pickups since they work quite well compared to my single coils. But you can calibrate the output level in game so it doesn't matter too much. Also one with good tuning stability would be good so you don't randomly start missing notes halfway through a song and need to constantly re tune it. For a cable I've only ever used the rocksmith cable so I don't know much about using others but it will probably work best as that's what it was designed for.
  6. Just import the vocals to eof and save the project and it should save an xml file into the projects directory also make sure your using the audio from the custom so the sync is not off To add the lyrics open the toolkit and click on import package and select the custom you want to add lyrics to, then add the lyrics xml file and it should work. If you didn't use the audio from the custom do this first as it extracts all of the audio and arrangements from the song which can be modified in eof (I think) hope this was somewhat useful
  7. Haven't modded my xbox so I cant test this but it might work. If you create a new Xbox live account to buy the dlc you can then download it on that account and license share it so everyone on the Xbox can use it. But you mention that your Xbox 360 has been banned, can they ban a whole console? If they can I guess you'll have to buy the dlc on another console, and set it to download to a usb stick and then stick that in your other console. If that doesn't work this may come in handy if you only have one console since you can probably ftp

  9. I think you can enable game pad controls in the options somewhere, if your laptop has Bluetooth you can connect ps4, xbox one slim controllers (apparently, never tried) or wii controllers to it and probably use them. You could also use xbox 360 controllers but you would need an adapter. You'd also probably need to find some drivers for the controllers but you can probably just google them. If you dont have any of these you could use your phone as a wireless keyboard through some remote desktop program which can run through wifi if bluetooth doesn't work. If you do need to remap controls you can use joy to key or xpadder to bind controller buttons to keyboard keys and mouse movements.
  10. dailymotion, haven't tried it myself but lots of youtube poopers put their content on there to avoid copyright strikes
  11. does uninstalling it keep save data?, just a guess but trying a new save profile might work but I haven't tested so might not do anything. Could be an issue with audio devices/drivers or audio buffer size which I think can be changed in Rocksmith.ini.
  12. Think its called the dead tone bug caused by certain songs, if it cant be fixed by restarting the game you'll probably have to uninstall and reinstall the game. If you want to fix the song causing it you can add a tone to it in the toolkit.
  13. yeah it could probably use some palm mutes (how could I forget them in a metal song lol), anyway here's an updated version where the chorus bit has been changed and fixed hopefully, its also got sections and lyrics. The harmonics have been adjusted but are probably still wrong (because idk how to play pinch harmonics yet). Some bits are probably still out of sync though so i'm gonna get to work on fixing that soon.
  14. so i decided to try and make a song but I couldn't find a tab anywhere so I made one based on a cover of the song (first time using guitar pro properly as well). It sounds ok when I play along to it but it could just be that i'm used to it and it could be way off (made into a custom to test against audio). Anyway if anyone would like to test it and see how accurate the tab really is is it would be relay helpful I can't tell the difference between the notes too well because of the distortion The main bits i'm worried about are the chords for the chorus (this bit playthrough) (its out of sync a bit i'll fix once once notes are right) and the part after the main riff on lead (this bit playthrough). Link to download to test (Drop A tuning though) Link to playthrough video Link to original song (utsu-p fear the speaker people) Link to cover I used I would have a tab download but I made lots of changes in eof so it wouldn't be too useful any feedback would be appreciated
  15. if we did what guitar hero did and made a clone of the game where it would be easier to add features it would be possible but adding VR to a non VR game would be quite difficult. Using something like the holo-lens to add augmented reality would probably be more practical though as you can still see your guitar but its a long shot and would probably take a while create a clone of rocksmith (but not impossible, been doing some tests in unity). If you just want to play rocksmith but have it look like a stage you could run rockmith start a song and open some vr video player and play some 360 degreee video of a crowd maybe.
  16. There's a tool called the rs roadie that allows you to do that LINK
  17. I just leave a comment saying the link is down and hope someone who has downloaded it will re upload it. Check the comments to see if someone already has re uploaded it and has put a link there.
  18. it's normal my dude sometimes I have a really good day and the next few I feel like I can hardly play anything (especially after watching a few people cover songs I cant do very well), you'll have good and bad days but just keep at it dude. What I like to do at times like this is just play some songs outside of rocksmith for fun to cheer me up.
  19. This song is 42 minutes long don't know if there are any longer ones http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/six-degrees-of-inner-turbulence-r12256 This is all of pink floyds dark side of the moon in one song and its around 42 minutes as well http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/the-dark-side-of-the-moon-r79 So it depends if you want one song, or a whole album of them in one cdlc. Might be some longer ones out there but idk
  20. A video on how to use it would be quite helpful
  21. @RubberDave the holo lens is still being developed and you can buy one for about £2,500 and it has compatibility with unity. here is an example of what it is capable of. I would love to get one but they are a bit expensive at the moment so hopefully in the future it will become cheaper.
  22. augmented reality would probably work, if you could stream the video with obs via udp localy with the background chroma keyed out to a video playing on the headset (with a camera) and play what the camera is seeing under the rocksmith gameplay but there would probably be lots of latency and if someone has the equipment it would be cool to test as a proof of concept or something.
  23. I fixed this issue by disabling my add ons https everywhere and disconnect (blocks cookies), so see if cookies are enabled in your browser settings and it might fix it.
  24. try some slayer or iron maiden they are fun to play until you get to the solos and then I just try to hit at least some notes. Also bring me the horizon is quite fun as long as its not from "that's the spirit" also completely forgot about slipknot
  25. I have ad block as well. They are probably doing maintenance or something. If it was an actual 523 the site would be completely down and wouldn't be back when you refresh it. just checked their twitter. We are looking into server issue that makes the site slow and gives error. We'll keep you noticed when things go back to normal! -FK
