It's possible, by changing the tuning frequency in the toolkit you can have turnings be slightly higher/lower. I haven't done much fiddling with it myself but half a semitone up might be something like this?, might be worth asking someone who knows what the're doing since I might've screwed the math, but a 100 in the offset sets it up a semitone so half (50) should be right?

Sounds good according to this list, all the base game songs plus the remaster dlc. "Can I use any of these song's ID for the cdlc?" You need to use a dlc for it not a base game song, but you can use any dlc. If you don't use cherub rock you need to change the ID of every song you download before you can play it tho. If you want to fix every song you can use IDs from, Bob Marley & the Wailers “Three Little Birds”, Elvis Presley “Suspicious Minds”, FUN. “Some Nights”, The Jackson 5 “I Want You Back”, OutKast “Hey Ya!”, Train “Drops of Jupiter”. Since these came with free the remastered update, or you can use any dlc you want. But cherub rock is way less hassle since most songs just work. "I dont like Uplay and dont have an account, is there any way to bypass it and get all functionality?" You need it for score attack and guitarcade leaderboards, but I think you can bypass the rest with a savefile? You'd only miss a uplay inlay, "Karawan – Desolate Motion" and bonus arrangements of the base game songs. Heck I have a uplay account and haven't even used/unlocked any of this stuff. It's nothing too major.

For a break from deep purple I tried some testament, but it doesn't recognize the powerchords very well on the higher frets so I died. LAS time I'll try on my 7 string in drop B flat minus the B flat string. Well now ya know why I play bass B)

Ok time for more ass that no-one asked for HIGHWAY COLOUR GENERATOR They don't match it's just for example lol I was bored so have a thing, It generates the files and converts them to dds. You just need to paste them into an unpacked dependency_songcomponents.psarc and rebuild it. "Highway lines" doesn't work. it changes "beat.dds" and "measure.dds". So I guess they are not used to colourise and it is done by the highway file instead. Chord accent doesn't work either?, probably just a mask Bracket colour works?, at least according to the nif in nifscope, hard to see ingame. BUT DON'T LEAVE THE COLOUR BLANK FOR THEM OR IT WILL MAKE THE FILE PITCH BLACK AND SCREW UP YA VISUALS. Here's a copy paste of the readme (minus licenses but with added colour and formatting to make up for it) [\__HOW TO DO THE THING__/] (USE BRIGHT COLOURS AND FAIR JUDGMENT OR IT WILL LOOK ASS) Enter the colours. Do it for all of them or some files will be fully black and look terrible in game. If you wan't default ones enter a similar colour, or just replace with base ones later? Click "MAKE PNG", this adds the overlays and generates the files in "/FILES/OUTPUT". Wait until the preview images appear. Click "TO DDS", a scary window will pop up, its just nvdxt converting the png files to DDS, wait until it closes. (optional) Click "Clean up PNG" to delete the png files from the output folder so you don't have unnecessary files in your rocksmith psarc. Don't worry it'll make more next time. Look in FILES\OUTPUT for generated files, copy the assets folder Goto your rocksmith dir and open the base subfolder and unpack "dependency_songcomponents.psarc" Paste the assets folder, if it asks to replace say yes. I thought it was pretty good, very fun to play. Sounds like something you'd get off the tony hawk soundtracks. Not a huge fan of the vocals tho but I'm super picky when it comes to them lol. 99, nice. Intro still kills me tho, it's just too speedy.

Finally finished firebird, championship time. Yo testament, nice. It's a bonus but I'm gonna do it anyway. Deep purple's probably gonna kick my ass but at least it looks fun to play. Probably not gonna 100 this because the note detection doesn't like me, but it was fun to play. All these fast songs are killing my fingers, bet id do better on rhythm well this was a nice song. Wew I screwed up a ton, then forgot the rhythm of the main part lol. Got oofed by Lazy, got 96. Pressed enter too quick tho so no image. Time to go again yay long intro time. Slightly better, it's a tad faster than what I'm used to playing so I guess I gotta "Git gud". wew looks like a hard week :lol:

If you wan't any rs1 dlc it should import automatically into 2014 whenyou buy it

Ok back from eating, here's scorpions. Bass seems to have a fair bit of unnecessary shifting where you can just move it down a string and not move your hand, maybe its just my preference, but I played it how the chart said anyway. That chord came out of nowhere and surprised me, still hit it luckily Time for maiden. I swear some of the sustains need more notes or maybe the drum is just screwing with me. Curse that arpeggio, time to "git gud" Right, missed one at the end of the arpeggio, and a few at the start/end of the song

Sup lads,I've been planning on joining for a while but put it off. Since I'm trying to learn bass with my fingers instead of a pick now I thought it would be a good idea to join and try some more bass songs. I was planning on starting at beginner and working up but this happened. Looks like all that foreground eclipse payed off. Then I got 3 score attack achievements lol. Gotta say it's fun tho, like grinding for PP on osu. Oh wait its a picked song, I didn't even notice. Anyway let's try the next one Ah I didn't expect bends, next time I'll get it. I think you'd need a splitter or the note recognition would be terrible since the pod effects are going through rocksmith, then you'd have to connect it to an external amp, or as a mic input and check "listen to this device" If you can live with botched note detection, turn off audio exclusivity and run through the pod into rs, set guitar 1 volume to 0 in the rocksmith mixer (pause during song and select mixer) and in windows sound settings check "listen to this device" and uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control over this device". Or try microphone mode, I think it disables the tones so if you can get it to unrecognize the realtone cable you can just run it through there without screwing all your sound settings. I'm afraid I can't test these myself but I hope they are somewhat useful.

U thought this thread was dead, well yeah it is but have some more pointless stuff anyway. ReShade website liok So it works with rocksmith (what a shock), pretty good for stuff like colour correction or burning your eyeballs out if you like to put chromatic aberration on everything. Most useful for me tho is the "correct aspect ratio" since I run at 16:10 instead of 16:9. I mean it just stretches it tho so yea not the best but still pretty cool. For basic setup all you really need to know is that rocksmith 2014 uses Direct 3D 9 so select that when asked what graphics api to use. Ya should probably turn off rocksmiths built in colour correction and stuff first if you want to fiddle with this first. Press home to open the menu and check the stuff you want on and fiddle with sliders 'till it looks like ass. Best I've got so far is this, I had a better one but looked ass ingame. Who plays rs to look at the menu anyway (says the guy with a modded loft lol) so yea try to get it looking good ingame first or your eyes are gonna burn. I think there's different versions of the fast load mod for ssd and hardrive, so if its getting stuck it might be the wrong one. if ya just want the custom tuning list without speedy startup use this one. If ya want both you probably need to add the files from here to the hardrive fast startup one (assuming that one works for you in the first place) Highway colour is changeable but you have to do it manually in photoshop or paint.net, lionk. (might make a trash tool to generate the images at some-point if I can be bothered)
