  1. Before the remastered version you couldn't just turn off DD for all songs by default and had to do it for manually every song you wanted to play in riff repeater, so people made no DD versions so you didn't have to. Now they just cause issues in game like broken play counters and stuff which is why all new songs need DD.
  2. Might be related to having a long intro with no beatmap at the start? try this Note if you press yes to "add evenly spaced beats" and re-import the tab after doing this you need to add extra bars to the tab so it lines up with the added extra space. If you press no you don't need to do this but it doesn't look as good in game. If that don't fix it I've got no idea, soz.
  3. dll just goes in the rocksmith2014 folder, not the dlc folder 2016 dll should still work since that's when the remastered update happened and nothing has really changed since.
  4. I'm assuming he's on a pirated copy, which is why the dll doesn't work and he needs the patcher which is also why I kept quiet on this topic
  5. This is fun. Had this downloaded but never played 'till now, real nice song.
  6. Man, "Eye of the Beholder" really has some currently relevant lyrics "Freedom of speech is words that they will bend Freedom with their exception" "Who decides what you express?" Here's the score sorry about the background I need to make a better one. Got a bunch of random misses too but it's probably just rs being stupid.
  7. Workshop links mostly go to the old I3 search engine so they don't work. Click "Ignition4 Search" in the toolbar and use that instead.
  8. I need to fix my game, score attack's started crashing. Sync is a bit jank on this one, at least on bass. Game didn't like my chords much, oof.
  9. Import them into separate tracks in eof and then copy paste to merge them where needed. You can also merge the tracks the same way in guitar pro (easier imo), just make a new track paste the rhythm in and then paste the lead over and import that in.
  10. gpx/gp aren't supported. gp3/4/5 all work though. I just convert everything to gp5 to be safe anyway so i'd do that to your gpx file but your gp3 should just work.
  11. Find the install directory and goto one of these subfolders and it should be in there Audiokinetic\(wwise ver)\Authoring\x64\Release\bin (64 bit) Audiokinetic\(wwise ver)\Authoring\Win32\Release\bin (32 bit)
  12. Your lag calibration should be on 0 unless your audio is out of sync otherwise you're just adding more lag to your game and throwing it off more. If you're on PC it should nearly always be on 0 unless you have a jank setup. Have a look through Rocksmith.ini and RocksmithConfiguration.pdf. But in general, turn on exclusive mode and Win32UltraLowLatencyMode. Put your LatencyBuffer as low as it can without audio issues (2 worked for me) and make sure ForceWDM and ForceDirectXSink are off. Makes a world of difference in score attack, you can actually play on time and still get prefects. I'm using the realtone cable btw just in case it make any difference.
  13. 2016 is the latest supported version of wwise for the toolkit https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cfsm/wwise This link still works for me, give it a go.
  14. There's no way to get custom songs on xbox one, it hasn't even been jailbroken yet.
  15. You can't just use any dll, it has to be the one off this site since it is modified to allow custom songs. Try cfsm with auto validate D3DX9_42.dll or rsmods to install the dll for ya.
  16. Nifskope doesn't have very good rs support, even just opening and re-saving the file kills it. The only luck I've had is replacing nif files with other ingame ones, this won't work with the loft since it has the camera animations and for some reason is rigged? Unless proper support for rs gets added to nifskope we're outta luck on the custom models front. You need JPEX flash decompiler to modify the fonts.gfx file Unpack cache.psarc Extract cache4.7z Go to the gfxassets\localization subfolder Open fonts.gfx in the flash decompiler Select the top font and click the embed button Select a font from the dropdown or specify an external ttf file Tick "all characters", make sure the font can at least cover all upercase, lowercase, punctuation and numerals. If not pick another one. (you can have different fonts for numbers if you select them separately which might look cool in the menu) Click OK and, "Yes to All" and then "Yes" Do the same for the other font too SAVE AT THE TOP WHEN DONE Now you need to open the original cache4.7z in 7zip and replace the file in there with the modified one Delete the extracted cache4 folder Repack the cache.psarc Replace the old one Done. Note this won't have any effect on score attack menus since they use a font stored in a "fontsgc.gfx" in cache8.7z. Change that too if you want. One thing I'd also like to figure out is custom font colours too but for now I got no idea where to start. Examples
  17. 500kB is total storage space on here, not really worth using since it can only hold a few images at a time. I'd recommend using an external image hosting site like imgur or something.
  18. I found a gui version for people who can't handle python, it it quite large and takes a while to install tho. It's fun to screw around with and it's results on a few songs really blew my expectations, others didn't work well at all but that's just how it goes sometimes. Might be useful for tabbing bass on certain songs if you can handle the waiting time and it gives you a decent output.
  19. Cf is dying, will this finally post? https://i.imgur.com/tJmZbRd.png https://i.imgur.com/jv0UbyV.png https://i.imgur.com/zurmOFM.png https://i.imgur.com/OyHGdW2.png
  20. Most of the time it's just the preference of whoever tabbed it and what they find easiest (unless they looked up live footage of the band and tabbed off that). You can play it however you want and the game will still pick it up. The way I look at it there's no one "right" way to play it. Do what you want how, you want. But... Using the lower strings will give a slightly "heavier" sound and being all on one string can make it easier to play with consistent timing (at least on faster stuff, provided you can handle the fingering). I find it's a convention of the genre and part of the playstyle of metal stuff, whereas more classical/jazz stuff tends to play the opposite by changing strings more and utilizing more open strings. Hypnotize being ODLC means it should be fairly accurate but it's almost impossible to make a 100% fingering accurate tab unless you wrote the song yourself and tabbed it right after or something. Even live they might not play it the same way when they recorded it in the studio if they even used that as a reference. There's no real set reason so I'm afraid there's no proper answer, so just some stuff to consider.
  21. Wow great timing they just got speedups working in rsmods the other day, only works up to 200% tho rsmods github link example vid
  22. yeehaw, ect. Seems like good practice for 3 finger picking which I need to work on oh no, gonna be a bad week for me lead for fun, pretty nice
