  1. I would say almost 99% sure it's a false positive if you've downloaded it from links provided by this website.
  2. I would test the guitar first , beg, borrow, buy, or steal a guitar tuner , test each string to see if it stays in tune after a couple of strums. If it's not the guitar it's the lead detection which can either be a volume issue , driver issue , pc issue or maybe it's just faulty. This can be fixed by obviously changing the volume settings , re-install driver , change the settings of the cable on the pc , testing the game with a different lead.
  3. No. There's really no way to separate them in game. You can use the in-game sorting to group all of the customs together, but they'll get grouped with any other dlc that you have since the game thinks they are dlc. You could rename your customs in the toolkit to make them sortable. You could add a "1" prefix to the sort name i.e change the band "Rancid" to "1 Rancid" , then when your sort by band name all customs would be first and in an alphabettical order ( but they would all be grouped together in the "1" section ) then followed by DLC.
  4. I have a few questions that I think other users may have ( could be wrong , it might just be me ). Are you asking for money that will be donated back to the site when you have it ? If it is not , what benefit does a user get from you going to Magfest? I'm not trying to be funny or provocative , Just trying to clear up some questions I have. Also I think you would get a better result if you sent private messages to all users asking for a donation of $1 towards your goal , if only 5% donate you'd have your goal and then some.
  5. It does get easier with practice. I would suggest playing songs of all different styles even songs that dont interest you to broaden your skills.
  6. I'm interested on others opinions as to whether I'm a wierdo or not regarding the protective film that a new guitar has. For some reason I like to leave it on as long as possible even on the pick ups. I think I know the answer just want to see if there's any other wierdo's lol
  7. For a 1920x1080 monitor, this setting gives the most amount of space: Window Size: 1024x768 Then Set Display Width: 1900 Thats the setting I use :)
  8. Does anyone else view EOF in 640 X 480 , i find it realy restrictive unless it's the width of my screen.
  9. Forgive my ignorance but why do you need to know the pitch?
  10. Whaaaaaat! Is your SG heavier than you Les Paul? My SG is the lightest guitar I've picked up. Beleive it or not, it's true ! :o Ah! I just noticed it's a Cort LP , cant make out the SG. Mine are both Epi's , that explains it.

  13. just in case anyone is interested in increasing their collection I saw this quality group on eBay , If only I had a spare 2.5k http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/electric-guitars-used-/301839552388?hash=item46470a0f84:g:SEIAAOSwa-dWiZL1
  14. Lovely colour on your LP special
  15. Nice guitars guys , they look more like pieces of art than musical instruments.
  16. It's good to get into the practice of copying your post before posting if things are acting up especially if it's a long post, it's happened to me a few times but I put it down to poor internet connection
  17. I'd like them to release Fools Gold or there was a GP file so I could make it myself Literally what I had in mind, or Sugar Spun Sister. I'd welcome any Stone Roses song gladly into my collection. My favourite band of all time without a doubt. Fools Gold would make such a great DLC song just based on how funky the guitars are in the track. I found a GP file for Fools Gold but real life is getting in the way of my Rocksmith commitments at the moment Would be badass if you made it some time though man! Any GP files for any other Roses songs by any change? Times like these is when I wish I knew how to CDLC. Don't get your hopes up but I did start to make it but I have started a lot of songs. I'm a bit flaky , easily distracted and don't have a lot of time but it is a song I would like to do. Everything you need to know about making customs is contained in this website and it's a great community. It's full of people who are willing to help if you have questions. It is daunting at first and it's a very steep learning curve but if you are learning guitar I find it is very useful to also make customs , it teaches you things that Rocksmith doesn't. You should seriously consider reading the tutorials avialable here and pick a really easy song to start with , even one that has already been done. I am always willing to help someone learn to make cdlc ( I'm not the best teacher ) so if you go for it and need help , post in the help section or you can pm me.

  20. just to lighten the sombre mood , here's Phil Cornwell's fantastic impression of Bowie
  21. What?!?change the custom DLC's sort field to match the original DLC sort field
  22. As there is no support for any modification on official DLC then change all customs to match original.
