The reason to deal with it is because we are a community ( and a good community ). The majority of users here are only too willing to help if they can and I'm sure a high percentage only want to better the community. There are ways of making comments that don't upset the uploader ( it's not always possible as we are only human ). Personally if I upload a custom , I welcome comments telling me what's wrong with it. It is far better to let the user know that there are mistakes in his custom than to just filter them out. This is how a community works , you don't ostracize someone for making mistakes if they're never told they are making mistakes. How are you supposed to learn if no-one lets you know what's wrong. You make some good points. And I agree that communication is the key. However, all I want is the freedom to choose between trying to improve the community and ignoring certain parts of it. It's my understanding that feelings of uploaders are valued deeply in CustomsForge, and if my request is too outrageous I'd simply have to live with the way things are. This is but a suggestion after all.Dude , it's not up to me what changes round here. I just thought your suggestion would be detremental to the community so I chimed in. I didn't think it was an outrageous request but I did think it's was an uninformed request.

Good for you , it's bad luck to be superstitious :P That 1st world problem ;) is easily solved with a bedside fridge. Unfortunately a bedside fridge can cause another 1st world problem - crumbs under the sheets :)

a pain ? really ? moving the mouse wheel a bit or clicking next page. Jeez man you need to relax more if thats a pain , you'll live longer. Have you tried posting comments on the actual custom about "low quality" to let the uploader know?

I dont know what the collective noun for guitars is but thats a nice "oniomania" of guitars :)

There is a setting in Rocksmith where you can invert the strings , which is not much use unless you started using it from the beginning. I'd reccomend to all new users to use this setting as it makes the transistion to reading tabs easier.

I keep seeing this message in the latest news "Emails Bouncing Emails that we send to you are being returned to us. If our emails continue to bounce, we will stop sending emails to you. Update Your Email Address" Is this a personal message or a general message?

I've always just used a cheap Y splitter cable coming out of the guitar, 1 lead to my effect pedals then to the amp and 1 lead to the PC. I do get what I think is ground hum but that gets drowned out when I'm playing so I live with it.

I'm not in the know , but an item is worth whatever you are willing to pay for it. If you love the guitar price is irrelevant, you don't need to know if you got a good deal or not , it won't change the guitar.

Just in case you didn't know the 3 settings for the pickups are left - neck pickup , right - bridge pickup and middle both pickups.

That is totally what caused the problem! Thanks a lot :) i put the switch into the middle position now.... had it put to the right, didnt work, to the left -> worked a lil better. And now works perfect in the middle Happy Chording dude :)

I know it's the short story but you missed pull out hair , bang head against wall and swear profusely at monitor ;)

I just had another thought , If you guitar has two pick ups , try toggling the switch in different positions to see if this helps.

CTRL+I would have been the key combination that toggled the display of the info panel off. Thanks dude , bloody cat , it's not the first time it tried to sabotage me , it's managed to move all notes on 1 bar before.

I did this the other day, drove me demented trying to figure it out :lol: In preferences (Edit Menu), top left, 4 down "Hide Info Panel". Untick it. Sweet. Thanks. It's not something I look at or use but it's true what they say "You don't know what you have till it's gone" :D

Not a big problem but my cat was helping me chart yesterday and it pressed a key or combination of keys that turned the info window grey and I cant change it back. Like I said not a big problem as I dont use it.
