I noticed the user profiles have only an option for male/female gender but no options for transgender/androgynous/inter-sex and so on. This is very discriminationalist and maybe CF should give more options (Facebook has 50 options for gender). It came standard with the forum's software but I will be happy to look into that feature for you!

Additionally: We are working on a cdlc update that counts downloads per click, which is why most users are using sendspace. We'll have this up and running sometime in the future. Thanks!

Hey all, I see that there are a few unfortunate rotten eggs out there trying to cause problems here. Please read rule #3 [*]No trolling, spamming, advertising, or other general douchebaggery. That includes racism, sexism, discrimination, use of homophobic/racist slurs, etc. If you dislike a way someone has made a video, cdlc, or anything else please provide CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. We're trying to provide a creative and fun environment for CDLC creators and rocksmith players. You will be warned a few times before a permanent ban. Please do not let it come to that. This forum is a place to learn how to make customs, post customs, and download customs for Rocksmith. Additionally I have updated the 'sendspace' rule: [*]Please use an approved site to host your customs - That includes Mediafire, Dropbox, Skydrive, BOX.com, Google Drive, 4shared, and zippyshare. PLEASE DO NOT USE SENDSPACE - users have had too many issues with Sendspace and is infuriating when trying to download multiple customs. If you do use sendspace, please provide a mirror that provides unlimited downloads PER ip and no download caps. This is my stance on sendspace (some users who use sendspace who have premium accounts are unaware of the problems for free users (aka downloaders) This is a direct quote from sendspace's website: "How fast can I download a file?The actual download speed achieved is dependent on the type of your connection to the Internet and traffic using the Internet at any given time. If you want downloads without speed limitations from sendspace, join Pro. Free users can download at our basic speed, set to spread the bandwidth load among the greatest number of users. It is also possible to download more than one file at a time if you have a Pro account." The two problems are listed in this answer. 1) 1 download per IP2) Limited download transfer. I shouldn't need a premium account to do the most basic things that the other big file carriers already have such as mediafire. For example: I went to download 50 customs the other day to update my collection. I was able to download about 40 fine, super fast at blazing speeds (I have 100mbit internet) yet had to wait about 10+ minutes for the ones at sendspace. They limit the max speeds plus only allow 1 download per IP. The downloaders shouldn't be punished with restrictions or forced to buy a premium account. If you use sendspace, please provide a mirror. We're not forcing you to stop using sendspace, just trying to have willing users that are able to switch, to switch. I just wanted to comment that I personally do not like the band name - song name - version because that requires the user to delete the older version, when it's easier for them just to overwrite it. I personally have my customs as Band Name - Song Name_p.psarc (btw had to edit your post, you had Version.p.psarc which wouldn't work)I had 3 copies of metallia one once because I thought it was the same file name >.>

Today I'm proud to announce that we will be offering a cool and special feature here at CustomsForge.This was actually recommended from a few members here and I want to thank you for the idea. We're going to launch this section in the future and have special CDLC's that will help you learn new guitar techniques. From anywhere from guitar scales to playing the bass quickly with your fingers, we will try to help you master ways to learn the guitar.Each CDLC will feature Dynamic Difficulty so you can begin at a steady pace and work your way up. We still have to figure out how we're going to do this but this is definitely something I am interested in doing.If you have any ideas, please suggest them!

Right now the order has been processed, we're just waiting on receiving it. 2. We've purchased a new chat system that can hold up to 50 users. This will take over the shoutbox. Unfortunately it doesn't look as nice as the shoutbox, but we will mod it to make it look better (if possible) 3. We're working with RSCDLC.com. He will begin development on the new search system that will be hosted here soon. Our search system will be awesome and hosted at search.customsforge.com 4. We're also working on modifying the download system. I've contacted a few PHP developers and have created a team to help tackle any issues we face. (Still looking for additional programmers for PHP/HTML/CSS & MySQL. The websites domain for $15 and the IP.Board & IP.Download system for $225 I have $142.93 USD Left in paypal and I plan to let all users know where their money went. Some of the features: - It counts every download - Searchable fields (Title, Artist, etc) - NOTIFICATIONS for file updates. This is a huge update I'm looking forward to. No longer have to deal with outdated CDLC. - Report broken file downloads to the CDLC creator & More! 3) We are actively working with PHP developers to upgrade to our new CDLC system. 4) We are looking into hiring a Skin designer to design a professional dark-themed type skin. (Possibly a white one too). Please note this will take some time but I'm hoping to get all of this in motion within the week. I'd like to have everything up and running soon so we can have an awesome community with awesome CDLC. I also want to give thanks for my wife, Ally who has been here since the morning helping me out with everything. I'm looking forward to working with everyone to create the ultimate CDLC website.

The problem with sendspace is when like a user like myself who doesn't have premium decides to download 20+ customs. I have to wait EACH time, and it's a huge problem. If a user wants to do sendspace I will allow them to create a mirror. Sendspace also deletes files if they are not downloaded for a certain amount days and that can cause major issues. I don't want to start us off on a bad start and I'm welcoming old users to use sendspace for now, but please please post a mirror.
